EJ is starting to grow on me. He was all but left for dead coming into last night. But I like how he didn't get flustered by the Urbik miscues or 3rd teamer drops, kept his cool and took the shot downfield. He's playing with more composure and confidence now. If he puts it all together he has more upside than cassell or Taylor.
It was just one catch, but clay looked downright dangerous. I'm not too concerned about the depth guys who look like drunks picked up from the bar. In the regular season clay will get most of the action
It's not clear yet whether he can be more patient in the pocket, but I agree he's got some proving to do. If not defenses will adjust pretty quickly. One trick ponied don't last in the NFL. For example on the big play EJ hit, you can bet TT would have taken off running instead and missed the opportunity. His next start will be important, hope the browns defense sends a spy on him and dares him to beat them deep. We need to see if he can do it. His model should be Russell wilson, not vick
If they're going after troubled defense players might as well have gone for greg hardy. Guy is a proven force. With IK you get the trouble part, but for that he's only a marginal player
Music to my ears .....
If the preseason opener was Jimmy Garoppolo's audition for the NFL Kickoff game versus thePittsburgh Steelers, the New England Patriots can't feel any better about their quarterback situation than they were entering training camp.
With the obvious caveat that preseason games offer very little predictive value, Garoppolo's performance in Thursday's 22-11 loss to the Packers was a letdown.
Garoppolo took seven sacks, averaged just 5.3 yards per attempt and had trouble moving the offense into scoring territory.
"I've got a long way to go obviously," Garoppolo said after the game. "Eleven points is not by any means good enough. There's room for improvement."

Speaking of Sumatra, have you ever tried this?
Kopi luwak (Indonesian pronunciation: [ˈkopi ˈlu.aʔ]), or civet coffee, refers to the coffee that includes part-digested coffee cherries eaten and defecated by the Asian palm civet.

Of major team sports basketball, no question. Size, speed, strength, coordination, endurance ...nothing else like them. Guys like Bo and Deion were able to play pro football and baseball, but none of them could last a minute in the NBA
At first I hated their coffee, thought it tasted bitter like an ashtray full of cigarette butts. Now I think it's the best and other coffees taste weak and watery by comparison.
Sort of liking their juice, tea, spritzer things for a refresher on hot days too
Harrison wasn't invited to the combine. But to the naked eye he sure looked a lot faster than 5+. Idk where these comparisons to IK and JH come from....JH was smaller, lighter and IMO a lot faster
He stinks. Too skinny and slow. Remember when he said it was personal coming back to RWS and playing against bills as if he were going to take over the game? Lol he did nothing and jets got crushed
Can't imagine any repubes voting for a socialist. And if comes down to like-ability versus politics, Im guessing faced with a choice of Trump's 1st lady ...
.... or president Hillary ...
... most go with team Trump
