  1. serious or not, it just points to what a dumb &@%#ing trade and re-contract this was. We shouldnt have parted with a talented, young, versatile LB, and RBs are both replaceable and vulnerable to injury and burn out. Invest in the Oline, including depth, to both pass and run block, plug n play running back by committee is the way to go
  2. Trayvon Martin's killer is raising money for himself and the owner of a 'Muslim-free' gun shop by raffling off an original painting of the Confederate flag. http://m.csmonitor.com/USA/2015/0818/George-Zimmerman-Muslim-free-zone-Confederate-flag-3-divisive-symbols-1-fundraiser
  3. Per OP's list: Add week 2 versus pats if janeane starts for Brady Subtract week 6 versus bengals
  4. Seems like only Aero I ever hear is that crappy Don't Wanna Miss a Thing balad. Zep is overplayed, had enough "get the led out"
  5. Most KISS, especially the early stuff, is completely ignored. Like this (studio version not available):
  6. For her part, the leading Democratic contender has rarely met a war she didn’t love. From First Lady to Senator and then to Secretary of State, the running theme of Hillary Clinton’s ghoulish career has been “I urged him to bomb.”That’s how HRC described the March 1999 phone conversation in which she ended eight months of post-Lewinsky silent treatment to tell her husband that, if he knew what was good for him, he’d attack Serbia. Monicagate had been pretty rough on their marriage, but a shared love of airstrikes got Hill and Bill talking again. As they say, the family that slays together stays together. In 2011, Hillary urged President Obama to bomb Libya. That hasn’t worked out so well for Libya, but at least it gave the then-Secretary of State the opportunity for a classicSchwarzenegger-style sendoff. Upon hearing that Qaddafi had been killed by a rebel mob, Clinton cracked, “we came, we saw, he died.“ That’s pretty hardcore—especially when you consider that Colonel Q. slipped this mortal coil while being sodomized with a combat knife. http://thefederalist.com/2015/08/17/trumps-biggest-lie-im-the-most-militaristic-person-in-this-race/
  7. he was traded, but this preseason with the injuries I will forecast Spikes (not technically a cut, but I'm counting not re-signing as cut in his case)
  8. this won't stop future "why not trade [insert marginal Bills player] and [insert late round Bills draft pick] for [insert other team's franchise QB]" threads
  9. anyone still think ti was a good idea not to re-sign Spikes and lose Kiko for an over priced RB?
  10. I guess an issue resigning spikes now is the imminent threat of goodell dropping the suspension hammer on him. No point signing a guy for depth if he's not eligible to play
  11. That is sad, but it sounds like he needed to be more careful how he parked next to the highway, especially an unlit one
  12. And theres a recent article where they chatted up the entire roster of WRs. Saying how it will be hard to cut any one of them. "Its a strong competition, Lal said. Everyone in the group, theyre all talented, but they bring different skill sets. So on any given day you see someone excel at a certain route, which is a good thing to see. The group as a whole is taking the coaching, the technique and the scheme, and applying it on the field." http://bills.buffalonews.com/2015/08/15/bills-facing-a-tough-call-at-receiver/ And BTW what did hogan do with his chance with 1st teamers? An ugly drop that was Cassell's only incompletion. Hardly the impression one wants to make if we're to believe the competition is this tight.
  13. Wouldnt read anything into this staff talking up players in camp. It's clearly part of their philosophy to use the spector of neutral and tight competition to motivate players.
  14. Out: Hogan....a marginal talent that simply doesn't have a spot in this offense and with this personnel. Goodwin stays....IMO he's a lock. They love his speed and theyre realizing he can be used for more than just deep routes. In: Thompson....speed, hands, attitude...special teams. Given injury to Wynn, both Buchanan and IK make it.
  15. Follow David J. Chao, MD‏@ProFootballDoc Good news for @nyjets fans. GENO SMITH plate/screws, jaw not wired shut. Anticipate less than 6-10 wks. Week 1likely. https://twitter.com/ProFootballDoc/status/632034706620461056
  16. he actually looks better a bit swollen
  17. Now that he's under contract instead of "sign rivers in 2016" we'll get the inevitable "trade brown and a 4th for rivers?" type threads
  18. I just wonder if notion of needing a traditional slot WR (whatever that is) really fits on this offense and with this personnel. Clay will be catching a lot of balls in that area, as will the backs. And we already saw the play where even a smaller WR like Goodwin did a catch and run across the middle, close to the line, and turn it into a big gain. This offense is mostly about fast guys running in all areas of the field, getting them some space, and letting them run...versus parking guys in specific areas looking for size matchups
  19. without knowing anything else, I'd cut Hogan and keep Thompson. Sounds like he's a good KR too. And I know pro days can be a little suspicious, but if his 40 time is to be believed he's very fast and 2nd only to Goodwin on this team: 2012 Florida's Pro Day 40-yd dash 4.31 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deonte_Thompson
  20. Have to wonder, do we really need hogan now? And how long can easely justify his existence on special teams? Barring injuries to starters, those are the 2 guys Thompson needs to beat out.
  21. BTW who is this Deonte Thompson guy? Not.only did he haul in a nice catch on the long TD, but I noticed him working hard and getting separation on other plays too. Looks like a gamer, hope hw doesn't get lost on this roster.
  22. No wonder we supported him right up until invasion of Kuwait then.
