Clinton quietly trying to discourage Biden from a 2016 bid WASHINGTON (AP) — In ways both subtle and blunt, Hillary Rodham Clinton's campaign is sending a message to Vice President Joe Biden about his potential presidential campaign: This won't be easy. As Biden ponders a challenge to Clinton for the Democratic nomination, she has rolled out a string of high-profile endorsements in the early-voting contests of Iowa and South Carolina and scheduled an onslaught of fundraisers across the country in the effort to throw cold water on a possible Biden bid. Donors who have publicly expressed support for a Biden run have been contacted by the Clinton team, according to donors and Democratic strategists who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the private conversations. Even Clinton herself has made a few calls, they said, to express her disappointment. While Clinton and her team speak warmly of Biden in public, they have taken steps to show their dominance over the party's establishment and President Barack Obama's political infrastructure in hopes of quietly discouraging the vice president from entering the race. http://news.yahoo.com/clinton-quietly-trying-discourage-biden-2016-bid-071306799--election.html

Here's one reason: he's the only one with any trade value. Maybe the EJ haters should consider that when they say the other guys are better

Few years ago I would have said that. But his deteriorating performance from last year carrying thru to this preseason has me seriously doubting the guy -
I think with Dareus we had a chance, without his presence in the middle stopping the run and putting pressure on Luck, Im not seeing it. Him being out was huge loss for this contest

It's the subject of the thread and to let people see what real, unglamorized gun violence looks like. Whats your goal in objecting to it? -

if it's a former employee, how did he know time and location of news interview? MONETA, Va. (WSLS/CNN) – Police are searching a disgruntled former employee of WDBJ who they say shot and killed a reporter and photographer Wednesday morning at the Bridgewater Plaza near Smith Mountain Lake during a morning live shot. According to Franklin County Sheriff Department’s Spokesperson Phillip Young, the shooting occurred at the Bedford County-Franklin County line in Moneta at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday. Police say there were three victims. Authorities say they know the identity of the man believed to be the shooter, a law enforcement official told CNN. The governor of Virginia confirmed to the media that the shooter is a disgruntled employee. http://wishtv.com/2015/08/26/virginia-news-crew-shot-at-during-live-broadcast/ -

if the motive was to get one of the other women, that explains why he shot the cameraman first ... not wanting to get filmed who was the other woman? if she ran the amusement park, maybe he's a disgruntled employee? Im guessing most likely she could be a possible target given a limited universe of people who knew filming was scheduled, unless it was someone from the station random act of violence seems a little odd to me. if he was looking to do maximum harm why there at that time of the morning? -

Front page NY Post: My wife was addicted to Ashley Madison Matthew is a successful, 48-year-old tech executive living outside of San Francisco. Over the course of five months from 2013 to 2014, his wife — we’ll call her “S” — cheated on him with countless men on the Ashley Madison Web site. Last week, hackers exposed the site’s 32 million users. Here, Matthew, who asked that his last name not be used in order to protect their two sons, tells The Post’s Dana Schuster his story. Her profile, “attached female seeking male,” read: “Not looking to blow up my life … I am looking to stretch my wings a bit and fly a bit farther.” My wife, to put it bluntly, was a cold fish in bed throughout our nearly two decades of marriage, so it was devastating to see her explicit fantasies laid out there so unabashedly. When we were together, she wasn’t into oral stuff, she wasn’t into kinky stuff — but on the site, she checked all the boxes: “I like to give oral,” “I like to get oral.” http://nypost.com/2015/08/26/my-wife-was-addicted-to-ashley-madison/ -

i agree, and I dont know if the current lack of good new tunes is due to a lack of good new music, or stations choosing not to promote it in favor of techno-pop crap. The only band I liked of 5 years or so that I liked was Kings of Leon. They got just enough play for me to at least want to explore more from them Early Genesis like the tune below was some great stuff. Only their later lightweight pop stuff seems to get occasional airplay
