I keep hearing that but Im not seeing it. I see Easely make plays. Maybe Im not following ST enough to notice, but I think it's clear FJ is much better in the backfield Couple other points while I have the mic: - Rex really is a defensive genius. With Dareus and McKelvin out, and starting a rookie as #2 DB, we would have gotten smoked last year with Schwartz showing the same look. Rex mixed it up, and anticipated well the adjustments Colts would make, and also their pass-first tendency - I know everyone is excited, but TT better have his "A" game next week. You can bet Pats are going to come up with a better game plan having a full game of film and an extra week to prepare. In particular I see them taking away his tendency to throw in the flats, and make him prove he can beat them with throws over the middle

I like karlos straight ahead power style for this offense more than McCoys shake n bake. McCoy leaves yards on the table too often trying to show flash when I'd like to see him power ahead and pickup those extra 3-5 yards the defender is giving. Loved the darby draft pick when they drafted him. Said then he'll be a top DRoY candidate. Today reinforced that belief, especially adding pick stats that voters look for. Need Dareus back. Too much room up the middle. If colts weren't such a pass happy team they'd have made us pay more for it. We have guards that can pull .... Hallelujah Why is boobie on this team and Fred not? Not going to get down on Watkins for 1 reception game. Even in low production efforts he's still occupying opposing D's #1 DB and opening opportunities for others. As long as continue to do that he's valuable. When clay gets his hands on it he's a defenses secondary's worst nightmare: a full back who can run Some complain about refs being against us; not what I saw. They hurt colts too with holding calls, one that killed their opening possession and another that brought back a luck first down scramble. Overall I thought the officials were flag happy, like trying to prove a point that didn't need to be made. But I don't think it was one-sided. I'm more impressed with tyods poise than his flash and skills. He showed good judgment when to go down and not risk further loss, turnover or injury. Still not at all convinced EJ wouldn't perform better.

9/11 - How quickly they forget

. Horrible thinking divoricing our policies and actions from responsibility. That is your deal though....always about "them" and not us. Unless of course we're not bombing "them" enough -
They called one on Sammy last year in a critical juncture in first game against Pats, and next play followed up with a push off penalty against robert woods. Both calls looked suspicious, and changed the game's momentum

Looked up Ben Carson as he's gaining popularity. It turns out he represents the core value of idiocy that defines the Repube's party of today: Evolution Carson's views on evolution and creationism have been controversial.[64] In a 2006 debate with Richard Dawkins, Francis Collins, and Daniel Dennett, Carson stated: "I don't believe in evolution...I simply don't have enough faith to believe that something as complex as our ability to rationalize, think, and plan, and have a moral sense of what's right and wrong, just appeared." Gun Rights he stated that he is strongly in favor of the Second Amendment and that while guns being used on innocent people "is horrible," it "is not nearly as horrible as having a population that is defenseless against a group of tyrants who have arms. Marriage and homosexuality In March 2013, Carson described his views about same-sex marriage on Hannity, saying: "Marriage is between a man and a woman. No group, be they gays, be theyNAMBLA, be they people who believe in bestiality, it doesn't matter what they are. They don't get to change the definition." Cannabis legalization Carson is against the legalization of recreational cannabis. He believes it to be a gateway drug that leads to more serious drug use https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Carson Global Warming In a recent interview with the San Francisco Chronicle, Carson stated, “there is no overwhelming science that the things that are going on are man-caused and not naturally caused.” http://www.mediaite.com/online/ben-carson-says-he-cant-see-evidence-of-global-warming-so-jerry-brown-sends-him-some/

White House going to war with Cheney
truth on hold replied to Deranged Rhino's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Cheney led the charge that killed 4,500 Americans over a phoney weapons story. That exceeds the actual total of US deaths attributable to all those countries and groups combined -
I gather they're thinking if they get 8-10 games / year out of him its worth the roster spot.

That's horrible. Rarely does a half time show make such an impression on me (good or bad), but that one stunk -
Hillary Clinton falls below 40 percent support in 2016 Democratic race Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton has fallen to below 40 percent support in the race for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination, losing 10 points of support since last month as Vice President Joseph R. Biden gains ground and runs better than Mrs. Clinton against leading Republicans. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/sep/11/hillary-clinton-falls-below-40-percent-support-201/

Week 1 Predictions: Colts at Bills
truth on hold replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No Dareus = no good With Gilmore stuck covering the larger Andre Johnson , the speed guys TY Hilton and rookie Dorsett will have a field day on the rest of our secondary. We need to score a lot of points and sustain drives to have a chance. Just not seeing it. Colts 27, Bills 19 -
Whats the deal IK and his suspension? Can he remain there since they don't count as part of the 53? Just means he's not eligible to be activated while on suspension? Even if that's true why bother with him since a purpose of PS is having guys ready in case of injury to the 53

I think O'Leary is one of these bums who we just won't seem to be able to get rid of and sticks around too long. Like a Tuel

Colts' D Line is Achilles Heel

theyre getting Mathis back ... had 19.5 sacks in 2013. -
well the schedulers gave us the toughest start possible facing last season's conference finalists and best QBs. although Id rather defeat pats of course, I will take a 1 & 1 start even it means losing to them but beating Indy. Im concerned what a poor opening record thru the first 6 or so games will do to this team. Given Rex's last few years with Jets the optimism will be replaced by pessimism and specter of 4 & 12 seasons

Iran Nuclear Deal Reached

agree, why didn't we attack Turkey? Sy Hersh Reveals Potential Turkish Role in Syria Chemical Strike That Almost Sparked U.S. Bombing Was Turkey behind last year’s Syrian chemical weapons attack? That is the question raised in a new exposé by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh on the intelligence debate over the deaths of hundreds of Syrians in Ghouta last year. The United States, and much of the international community, blamed forces loyal to the Assad government, almost leading to a U.S. attack on Syria. But Hersh reveals the U.S. intelligence community feared Turkey was supplying sarin gas to Syrian rebels in the months before the attack took place — information never made public as President Obama made the case for launching a strike. http://www.democracynow.org/2014/4/7/sy_hersh_reveals_potential_turkish_role -
Iran Nuclear Deal Reached
truth on hold replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
silly, don't you think Russia's recent assertiveness in Syria is due to the US being exposed as not being able to manage a coalition? That's what happens when we deviate so much and for so long from global standards. If the POTUS could have been seen operating with more authority this would not have happened. Now the US looks unreasonable, problematic to deal with, and impotent. Other coalition partners simply went their own way. Any fool could have predicted this, but with our system being behold to so many outside interests it produces irrational outcomes -
