  1. no push, agree with that
  2. Be a much bigger surprise if he made the final roster. My advice to him would be to move on from football and find a different career path. Maybe go to a graduate school for business, law, etc. He went to a great undergrad program, made some money for his age in the NFL, and now it's time for him to move on.
  3. Lol it says Johnson is way overpaid and tities will regret that signing like skinnies did with fat Albert
  4. Andre and Calvin are oft injured too from all the pounding they take and oh yeah their teams don't make the playoffs either, just like ours.
  5. That's not fair. Once a guy's in the NFL you have to go with his body of work and throw draft position out of the window. What do you want, 6th rounder brady to give his 3 rings back?
  6. we dont have to finish last overall to get luck. there are teams like Panthers and Jags could finish last and pass on him. Might mean we have to trade up though
  7. Didn't Salisbury getting canned for emailing pics of his dong to co workers? Lol wonder if Clayton was one of them
  8. What positive case would you expect him to make? Journeyman fitz sets up behind a suspect oline where suspect little was done to address their needs. their best wr over the last 8 years was traded preseason, so I'm expecting great things from him?
  9. Andre and Calvin are monsters much bigger than stevie.
  10. Trent was lacking leadership. His attitude was like "gee I'm just happy to be here and help the team, contribute what I can." that's how backup special teamers talk. QB's need to lead, have an attitude and some intensity and say "this team is mine and I'm going to lead us to the super bowl." Kelly had that attitude in spades and challenged the rest of the team to elevate their games or they were going to hear from him.
  11. Hate on Clayton all you want, but truth is if Easely doesn't become one of the better WRs in the NFL this offense will suffer. From last year we have the same QB, similar line, same RBs ... only real difference is losing Evans and Easely coming off IR. If Easely isn't up to it, only thing keeping out of the Luck Bowl will be what looks like an improved defense. But they won't be good enough to completely offset a weak offense and turn us into winners.
  12. link 27. Ryan Fitzpatrick, Buffalo Bills Analysis: Just when Fitzpatrick was building a nice passing offense with Lee Evans and Steve Johnson, the Bills trade Evans to Baltimore and now lack the outside threat to take coverage away from Johnson. Bills fans can start following the Stanford schedule of Andrew Luck, who might be the Bills' next quarterback. I was as critical of the Evans trade as anyone, but our only hope that the national media wouldn't have picked up on is the play of Easely. It's a big "if" but if he can pull it off, we could be out of the "Luck Bowl." If not hard to argue with Mr. Tales from the Crypt
  13. Agree with all of this but problem is he's left freaking tackle. 1 of the 2 most important positions on the line. It's not his fault it's the team's for not finding a better alternative.
  14. Yes. And I see a lot of game planning both run and pass designed around hiding a weak left tackle.
  15. Lol cow good one. But seriously OP if your lady has an IED in there the last thing you want is your Johnson coming into contact and setting it off.
  16. Brett favre could come out of retirement and pressure bell for starting LT. Not sure of this says anything about Hairston
  17. Ugh. Those cars definitely didn't "ride the storm out."
  18. Player's union is on strike, demanding they get paid minimum wage
  19. This all started with Daryl lemonica.
  20. Fitzy and his biker beard will look at home in a raiders uniform some day
  21. Interesting. I wonder what lawyer or gm dreamed up that arbitrage. Been pretty funny if for some weather related reasons pats ended up playing 4 games in FL that season lol
  22. More than knock them out of playoffs, that was NFC championship game, knocked them out of Super Bowl! Cunningham, Moss and Carter were totally po'd on the sideline
  23. He had enough "bill" in him to miss the short field goal that would sent vikings to super bowl in an otherwise perfect season for him to that point
  24. That's not a cut and no one will give a pick for him anyway
