  1. Didn't that same team "go" 11 & 5 w/o Brady?
  2. Give em credit pats don't use injuries as an excuse
  3. Hes not the same ferocious force. If you have a truly elite NT in 3-4 scheme then you play 3-4, case closed. I don't buy the bs coming out of NE the switch came from lack of LBs and that's why they got Albert. They got Albert because wilforks play at 3-4 NT dropped off IMO
  4. Albert was supposedly the reason they went to 4-3(although I suspect wilforks unacknowledged decline had something to do with it). Our guys match up very well against their back up DBs if they want to play man. That's what I'm anticipating belli tries some 3 - 3 nickel formations.
  5. I wonder if pats play more 3-4 zone on sunday now
  6. Not saying we aren't, just saying fitz isn't perfect. And to others, if you think bills wouldn't trade fitz right now for Luck's draft rights, WAKE UP!
  7. No fitz is not. Doesn't have a strong arm, has average mobility and could be a little taller/stockier. As much as I keep looking for an angle tto counter his hype, Andrew luck is the only "perfect" QB to come along since maybe elway. But even at this stage theres no Comparison, luck is better
  8. I agree, although a severe drubbing raises serious question marks with the pats this beat up. My comment applied to relevant in the media's/national fan base eyes at this stage of the season.
  9. LOL I just put up a new one for you
  10. That Im not naive enough to assume a team that's dropped 15 straight to a perennial contender for over 10 years will win? That I can put things into perspective and not get euphorically high or suicidally low? Which means I won't fall to pieces if they don't prevail like all the rah rah cheerleaders will.
  11. All it takes is a drubbing by pats sunday to be irrelevant again
  12. Thanks for the review. But it's very inconsistent to conclude a 3 - 4 defense will be one of the best teams every week when their weak unit is linebackers.
  13. Actually it may be a shoot out like our game against raiders. In this case every possession is like the serve in tennis; if hold yours and the opponent loses theirs just once you win. In 2nd half against raiders we "held serve" by scoring a TD on all 5 possessions.
  14. That's all fine and dandy but problem is he'll be a couple weeks shy of 31 when the super bowl is played in February. He's just about hitting the wall for RBs. Now you can argue there's more tread left on the tires than your average back that age because he got a late start and has shared responsibilities, but reality is he's just not going to get paid the same here or anywhere else as if he were 26 and coming off his rookie contract.
  15. What a tool. Glad he's gone.
  16. DBs aren't WRs because they don't have good hands. Odds are in your favor to challenge them

  18. @blad good point. Id feel more comfortable if it were all from Fitz improvement! But seriously he may be losing some of the erraticness
  19. In the past this was spot on. Certaonly got away with a few in raiders game. Overall I think fitz is showing some improvement early in the season. Let's hope be keeps it up.
  20. Will Ravens let us borrow lee Evans this weekend?
  21. No actually. Some guys do better on the move when a play breaks down like Vick, Ben and Rodgers. Some guys are natural roll out QBs like Sanchez so pressure up the middle doesn't bother them as much. Bradys weakness is limited lateral mobility, especially since coming back from knee surgery. Pressure up the middle is key.
  22. That's a very fair interview. What's the problem? Sure Teddy disses the city a bit and his prediction doesn't follow his analysis, but thats to be expected. Don't forget this guy had to tone it down since Brady scolded the retired pats like Bruschi and Harrison for not having a clue what theyre talking about when it comes to the current pats locker room
  23. Arnold's words to live by when facing a seemingly invincible foe
  24. problem is you can't pay them all. Theres a lot of risk involved with big money, long term contracts. Get it wrong and youre doomed to long term suckiness like Redskins and 9ers.
  25. Why don't you post as Giselle over there and say you don't want Williams or dareus hurting my Tommy.
