Havent declared him anything. Said "may be". When bills featured back has 300 more yards and 1.7 more yards per carry than jets, and bills QB has a 15 pt higher QB rating, you can't so easily assume that mangold>wood. I know i wouldn't trade them.

Actually wood may be better than mangold already. Hes been a big part of Jacksons dominance and fitz time in the pocket

Actually Sanchez has regressed. They tried opening the offense up and putting it more in his hands earlier in the season, result? Losing record. I really really like our chances if we take away run early and let Sanchez play pitch and catch with bills pick happy secondary. Not saying we will take it away for sure, but it can be done. LT is mr irrelevant so greens the only guy we have to key on

You've hit on a key matchup for sure. But seriously no ones handled dareus all year. I'm sure mangold isn't takin him for granted like you are. If dareus clogs up the middle it creates huge problems for jets because their backs lack speed to get outside. This forces jets out of run game early and allows bill to key on pass. And we all saw earlier in the season what happens when jets are a pass-first team; they lose. I'd really like the bills opportunistic secondary against the mistake prone Sanchez

The bills don't have to excessively rely on one guy like for example the panthers do with Steve smith. That's the point. So the strategy of taking away the top receiver isn't the killer to this team as it would be to some others. Distributing it to the optimal target is Fitz strength as a QB. Cromartie is not having as good a season this year as last either so we should be able to move the ball in the air

Spillers WR style resembles lee Evans. Does fit have the arm strength to hit a speedy receiver in stride 40 yards downfield on a penetrating trajectory that leads him towards the end zone?

Not to dampen anyones enthusiasm but I wouldnt take too much from this, other than we beat a team we should have. Skins injuries and benchings are the equivalent of starting thigpen over fitz, spiller over Jackson and Roosevelt over Stevie, among others. Other than fletcher that was the most lifeless team I can recall seeing. Read the DC press and they are calling or shannies head far worse than we ever did for jaurons. they're also callig nepotism for his son the OC who they said would be fired if not for the family connection. Jets are superior to them at nearly every position and abberations like 9 sacks and no points against won't happen So take this for what it was, a tune up game for a much better opponent and more important game next week. Losing would set up the unpleasant scenario where bills drop from 1st to 3rd in the division (assuming oats beat gmen at home) Pats are in first at 6 & 2 Jets are in 2nd with same record as us but ahead in head to head This won't be at all insurmountable quantitatively but I'd be concerned how it effects the team's psyche.

I thought Williams may be out for a lot longer, perhaps even year. Sure would be good to have a truly healthy Williams to stop Jets run and pressure Sanchize. we ALSO need a healthy mcgee to cover plax, he will eat up our other DBs

Are the Bills expecting any injured players back like Jones, Bell or Williams? Would love all 3 of course but any one would help. We need bodies for this game

Going to be a real tough game for us w/ Jets coming off bye and resting hurting guys, Mangold in particular is huge for them. They got their running game back when he came got back on the field.

who ever gets the nod at NT next week goes up against a rested Mangold. Much stiffer test than Skins center

Not smart by troy punching the ball forward. No matter who falls on it game would have been over with not enough time left to get off another play. Punching it forward should have been a penalty which gave pats another play.
