Fitz's Inaccuracy A Problem Going Forward?
truth on hold replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
In addition to the line the WRs obviously have a lot of influence. I keep thinking about the perfect deep ball he threw to spiller that was dropped. That's 50 yards at least, and maybe even an 80 yard TD. And it would have given bills at least some hope against Dallas. Haven't seen any of Moore so i don't know about drops for him but I've seen all of Sanchezs last 2 and dont recall Anything that dramatic -

Dont know anything about Moore but interesting question , would you trade fitz for Sanchez straight up? -
Unless you have superior talent eventually there's an answer for everything. Like Richard seymour said when pats were losing key players in FA "I never saw a system make a tackle." It probably got him shipped out of town by the thin skinned kraft, but he was right. Pats defense has never been the same since Seymour, Samuel and others left

Fitz's Inaccuracy A Problem Going Forward?
truth on hold replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Seriously what's the point? 3 rings, one of the best ever, and still playing at a high level. Would be silly to compare him to rest of AFC East. In his rarified air you're only talking names like Rodgers, Brees and Manning (if healthy) and IMO big Ben -
Fitz's Inaccuracy A Problem Going Forward?

They started using roll outs to the right later. After they realized he couldn't just be a statue with his back turned to the weak side. I think it was too late by then as Cowboys probably prepared to counter the rollouts -

http://m.espn.go.com/general/blogs/blogpost?blogname=afceast&id=34232 Analysis: Fitzpatrick has played awful the past two weeks. It's poor timing after he just signed a $59 million contract with the Bills. The bar has been raised for Fitzpatrick, who has thrown five interceptions the past two games. The expectation is that he performs well on a consistent basis, which is equal to the expectations for other franchise quarterbacks. I'm not sure how Fitzpatrick got a better QBR than Sanchez this week. Fitzpatrick made fewer plays and never gave his team a chance after falling behind 28-7 at halftime. Walker's Grade: F -
Do you honestly care about sports?
truth on hold replied to Jim in Anchorage's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like bills and NFL football. I like basketball when Knicks are competitive, which has been rare. I like world series when Yankees are in it. I like golf when tiger woods is competitive (uncommon lately). I like some olympic events, summer and winter. Ilke boxing when theres matchup that interests me, again very rare. That's about it -
I think successful coaches are a blend of adherence to a system, but can also adapt to the personnel they have, and balance winning near term versus investing until the mythical perfect system with perfect players is achieved. My concern with Chan is that he's far too system oriented

This guy gas gone against Bills last 2 weeks and we know what happened. Fingers crossed this mini streak ends this week

Answering my own question it seems like this draft luck = lose manning understanding is coming from manning and not salary cap or contract related. http://mobile.stampedeblue.com/2011/11/6/2541985/espn-peyton-manning-would-leave-colts-peacefully-if-they-drafted

Its a rare situation where a team was so dependant one player. He was an iron man to this point, it's just coincidence the most touted qb in ages is coming out at this time. Would be unjustified to overhaul the draft for this

Angry Rex Tells Fan to "Please Hush"
truth on hold replied to Kaz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well expect a lot more of it, along with everything else. It's all part of the stolen celebrity sex tapes, Obama and Sarkozy on the mic, reactionary twitter posts, etc etc ... world that we live in. What we know in Rex's case is if it wasn't caught on someone's cell camera. no one would be talking about, and it would be the complete non-event it was. I don't care for Rex, but I think it's absurd he can get tapped for 10's of thousands of dollars for giving it back to a fan verbally that was provoking him as he's walking off the field running hot how the half ended. -

IMHO they're both a couple of classless knob ends Been funnier at post game hand shake: Bellichick: 37 points on leagues best defense, huh? Ryan: STFU Bellichick: yeah, SMD -
Chan has some +'s and -'s, unfortunately the -'s lately have been exposed. Time for him to show he can grow and adapt as a coach. +'s offensive minded, knows the key to winning is keeping opposing defense on their heels -'s committed to systems, doesn't design schemes around players

name the dominate AFC TEAM?
truth on hold replied to EldaBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Stillers, they have the best record. They have solved their OLine problems and offensive predictability from earlier in the year. Theyve beaten the #2 Pats. Ravens is the only team that has their #, so as long as they dont see them again they're in the driver's seat *schaub is done for the season -
Jay z probably owns a big piece of that night club. That's how "he rolls"

Is Spiller any less of a bust than Maybin?
truth on hold replied to beggar13's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Making distinctions within the category is useless. At the same point in their careers neither contributed enough to justify their draft position. At least had one earned a starting role you could argue they were drafted too high like Whitner, but that's a disappointment not a bust. Spiller has a chance to not be a bust a he's still here, let's hope he emerges. We desperately need a new weapon on offense. -

That was right after he called the Sanchez time out most stupid in nfl history. He knew Brady coming back and scoring 7 at the end of half was a big deal and he was running hot. The herd thinks there's trouble brewing btw ryan and Sanchez. -
I hope it's with the bills. We need a WR that can run a sub 5.0 forty

Silly eagles sitting him against cards to prove some disciplinary ethic. This was a winnable must win game with him in. They could have sat him for the first possession or something. Bunch of losers.

Bills, Jets, Pats: remaining schedules/playoffs
truth on hold replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Injuries hurt yesterday. Directly with wood and indirectly with both chiefs and eagles losing their starting QBs what could be a long time and both playing jets and pats. Schaub done in houston doesn't help as they play bengals and it will give added fuel to Tennessee in their division, whom we play -
