  1. With the way he's played since his new deal who would bother trading for him ?
  2. Mahers a twat. I'm not religious but I respect those who are and would never attack them in this way. What's more he's a hypocrite. Portends to dislike all religious equally but really only shows contempt for Christians and Muslims while being a blatant propogandist for Israel. I don't have Hbo because it sucks but I did I'd cancel it and make it clear he's the reason.
  3. yeah, it's underthrown.
  4. From CNN article "Bill Maher Takes on Tim Tebow .... " *An earlier version of this story incorrectly had the Detroit Lions as the Broncos opponent. We regret the error and apologize to Bills fans everywhere. They have suffered enough this season. http://religion.blogs.cnn.com/2011/12/29/bill-maher-takes-on-tim-tebow-and-feels-the-wrath/?iref=obinsite
  5. none of the non-elites have a ring and it will be a minor miracle if they ever get one. Thats why it makes sense to dump a mediocre QB and continue searching for an elite one baloney, arm strength and accuracy have always been knocks on the guy. Intelligence, work ethic and risk taking are his strengths
  6. I wonder if the horrendous play at center hurt him
  7. IMO bills front office has been a rudderless ship for a while now. Ralph put the clamps on nix after botched extensions for merriman and Williams
  8. Hes getting to Revis. Jets aren't getting it done with their WRs. Look for them to make a play for him.
  9. 73 when adding back the bogus call against bungholes, several more factoring in Fitz innacuracy
  10. He's good in the booth, lot better than jaws.
  11. It helps both that their oline is so good at run and pass blocking.
  12. Yes me definitely. AFC SB rep highly unlikely to come from West or South. Ravens are inconsistent and Steelers are banged up. I definitely have Pats deservedly #1 AFC seed. Get to Super Bowl and Bellichek will have more rings than anyone he faces. DON'T COUNT THEM OUT AGAINST ANYONE.
  13. IMO Brady > Marino > Brees If records were perfectly aligned with talent that's how it would go
  14. Primarily poor drafting. late rounders are supposed to be the depth, but our early round failures propelled them to starting roles.
  15. In addition to tied for fewest sacks, that same 2011line you're busting on was blocking for the leagues leading rusher until he went on IR. and even the under sized spiller is starting to gel behind them.
  16. Jets didn't think they could afford both he and Holmes, and like I said earlier I think they paid the price going w/ Plax. he got hurt w/9ers.
  17. Idk about break out or not but I'd sure take the 900+ yards and 7 TDs he had with jets last season.
  18. Merrimans injury didn't check out. But hey saints sure did ok for themselves with brees and his shoulder!
  19. He's 28. If the injury recovery checks you'd get his best years.
  20. yeap, imo biggest reason Jets are worse this year is swapping Edwards for Plax. Plax may be the better red zone threat, but everywhere else up and down the field Edwards has him beat. Sanchez lost a guy that bailed him out from a lot of tight spots, and Holmes is getting more attention from defenders as a result.
  21. I thought it was a fairly innocent comment to get a thread started. I had no idea would result in a scuffle. I only engaged people because sometimes I think those who hang on every little thing and turn threads into feuds need to be put in their place (not saying I put you in that camp.) To embellish upon my initial post given the challenges, I'd say if they landed a stud WR who delivers several seasons of approx. 1,000 yards and 10 TDs, they did right by themselves versus the unknown of draft picks (who knows better than Bills fans how unfruitful that can be.) Judging JJ's rookie season I'd repeat "looks like Falcons bold move will work out." I too was skeptical at draft day because I thought he had suspect hands, his measurables were beyond challenge. But from what Ive seen of him this year and how he's progressing I'd say he's proving my suspicion unfounded. Although their record may be worse, they seem more potent as a team to me with him. If anyone wants to attach further conditions to justify his trade, they may, but that's how I view it. Anyway, hope you had a good Holiday.
  22. Woods was going to be, and LeVitre ought to. Bell was vastly improved, and Hairston has performed admirably for a rookie. No, you're not going to pin this one on the Oline.
  23. Not changing it all. You're the one who brought up browns picks and team records as the judge. So using your logic browns - non playoff team last year and even worst record this - lost out. My op was "looks like" which is hardly definitive. Unlike the posts definitely slamming the trade which you responded positively too. And you've conveniently failed to acknowledge re-emergence of saints this year. How about falcons could be out of playoffs without added production from jones? So again wtf!!!
