  1. Are eagles shopping him?
  2. I agree, this is good for cowboys, not the other way around. It's a big myth that people outside Dallas are clamoring to see cowboys in droves. Actually many people find then a turn off.
  3. I agree, we get too much Romo jammed down our throat. No, most of us don't like him and dont consider him the 2nd coming of anything, no matter how much air time he gets. The league needs to get this.
  4. Don't hear anyone taking to the national media stage and eternally damning him either
  5. Yeah the way the media treats him I think is disgusting, the herd is the worst, very manipulative to the point of sounding bitter. Has a real agenda against the guy and distorts the truth to slam him. 5 biggest "myths" he keeps spreading: - Tebow is locker room cancer. Funny, I don't recall any major issues in Florida or Denver - jets were on their way before him. Really, an 8 & 8 team after going 11&5 the year before? - Sanchez is something special and tebow will compromise his progress. By all accounts Sanchez regressed his 3rd year, which is particularly disturbing since it was supposed to be his coming out party when they let him do more. - tebow will tear jets locker room apart; like it wasnt the most dysfunctional already? - Tebow will never be a good NFL QB: funny since he went a lot farther last year than most QBs in the NFL, right on the heels of broncos parting ways with their best wide out. Also the game against steelers when elway instructed him to throw it more he threw for >300 yards, 2 TDs, no picks and overall looked sharp. I'm not saying Tebow will make it to the next level, but flat out damning him at this time is unjustified.
  6. beyond dispute? More like patently false! Mike williams and Eric wood were rd1.Williams was the ultimate bust and although wood was good when healthy he has a terrible injury history and had missed a lot time. Levitre rd 2 may end up being the only consistent contributor They also paid up big time in FA for dochety, another high profile bust. Not to mention all the OL picks in other rounds like Hairston, Wang etc ... This team has spent a lot of resource on OL
  7. I'm fine with that. Just want rounds 1 - 3 committed to LT, WR and CB. The order they're taken is of less importance. BPA restricted to those positions probably means WR rd 1
  8. If that's the case no wonder he's still looking around. I was under the impression it was 2 yrs/$4.5 mill kind of thing. Vet min for 1 yr would also support they view him as just another body with no claim on the starting role, resigning him before draft could therefore have little influence on how we pick.
  9. What are the terms of the offer to Bell?
  10. Even if they resign Bell I get the impression theyve lost some faith in him as a starter for injury reasons. I'd look for him to be thrown into the pool of candidates and have to compete for the job with Hairston and the rooks. Which begs the question, why bother resigning him, especially since he hasn't shown any particular interest in being here.
  11. Good, I hope he leaves Saints a mess like he did Dolphins.
  12. He's never happy and has some miles on him too. Definite pass
  13. Lol probably the same unnamed jets Sanchez called "gutless"
  14. He hasn traded down in any round in 2 years here. Idk about Chargers, what was their history when he was there? Spiller they coul have traded 5 slots back and project he would have been there, Troupe they could ha traded an entire round back.
  15. Fair enough in the spirit of "anything can happen no matter how unexpected" but the OP is stating he expects iT WILL happen, that's what I'm responding to
  16. Exactly. These "trade down" theories assume there's a player someoe would have a do or die interest in at #10. Once you get past luck and rg3 I don't see anyone who fits the bill. Yeap not even kalil, rarely see any big moves for oLinemen. Maybe just maybe Claiborne but odds are close to zero he falls to 10 and if he does we had better take him !
  17. It's funny, I'm not a religious person and I have no problem with tebow and how he carries himself. If religion does it for him and that comes out in interviews, who am I to say he's wrong? And religious gestures on the field were common WAYYYYYY before Tebow.
  18. Classics : Moby Dick, Brothers Karamazov Non-fiction : Kissinger biography by isaacson, heroine diaries by Nikki sixx
  19. You tell me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yi12aVa3psc&feature=youtube_gdata_player
  20. Short answer: the new CBA requires teams to spend a minimum amount of cap space. Ralph simply has no choice if he wants to maintain an NFL franchise.
  21. Cro's been converted ... "He's a guy (Tebow) that brings a different atmosphere to the locker room and the huddle," Cromartie told the New York Daily News on Friday. "We were missing that last year -- a guy that can take control and do the things that we need to." http://m.espn.go.com/nfl/story?storyId=7731749
  22. What's libertarian about running on a platform of foreign intervention ?
  23. Honestly what does #1 or #2 really mean? Giants had nicks, manningham and Cruz, and all were key guys. It's not like every play one guy had a lock on being the first read. When you have quality WRs the pecking order becomes inconsequential. Yes I'd like Floyd, btw
  24. He's right. I probably wouldn't want to take the risk for a marginal change when we already know what we have in office. But sanatorium being the war mongering chicken hawk hick that he is would guarantee id vote for Obama
  25. And you act like the boat wasn't in the process of sinking
