  1. How about please name a better overall team than the one kelso benefited from playing on
  2. Have to put 2002 buccaneers in there too. Sapp, Simeon rice, brooks, John lynch, ronde barber .... those guys could bring it. Certainly brad johnson, dilfer and McMahon are the 3 weakest QBs to have a ring
  3. Pssssst .... Henry jones was a strong safety
  4. With the freedom a free safety had on that defense, with the pressure they got on the QB with smith, bennett etc, on a team that was often playing with a lead forcing the opponent into obvious passing situations, he should have been a standout rather than a footnote. Imagine Byrd in that same setup? His impact would have been a lot greater Exactly, that's why I'm po'd with Adams: they let big pat go thinking Adams could handle it on his own, and all he did was stink up the joint. We should have kept pat and sent Sam "the Michelin man" packing
  5. Mark kelso Jeff posey Sam Adams
  6. Also clarret was drafted 101st overall. High profile disaster yes, but drafted in the middle hardly a top 50 bust
  7. I don't know rivers was the answer for us but it raises the question can we get a good nfl player for our 2nd 4th round pick
  8. Jonathan Sullivan #44 played for buffalo? Ummm no. Guess they felt guilty about only one bill (patulski) on the list so they gave us one of new Orleans
  9. Actually the tape reinforces the suspicion he will be too small, too slow and not be able to shed nfl blocks
  10. Vick and brees are both listed exactly at 6.0, which probably means they're shorter -- I've heard radio announcers who've stood next to them say just that. So if theyre more like 5'10.5" to 5'11", the question is Wilson listed at those heights really more like 5'9.5"? I'd definitely give him a look if he's a true 5'11" - the evidence is there those guys can make it in the nfl - 5'10" or less he doesnt strike me as special enough to pull off the unprecedented.
  11. It may not be that simple. This day and age when a credible case can be brought, it usually is. In this instance I can see an aggressive prosecutor or headline seeking politicians get involved to "clean up football" like they did baseball. racketeering statute provides them with a lot of authority.
  12. Interesting comments from Sapp along those lines: "Not for one second would I sit in a room and listen to someone say, 'We're going to take out someone's ACL' without standing up and saying, 'What the hell are you talking about?' " he said. "The way you play defense isn't about malice. It's about putting you in fourth-and-more-than-you-can-handle." Sapp continued with the subject via Twitter on Friday , telling his followers: "Dawg no coach ever talked like that! Its a kids game & we get a king's ransom to play it!"
  13. Hard to believe Hanson will last. Also have a hunch all the attention may be on the wrong lefty: watch out for Bubba Watson.
  14. Say what you want about his attitude, but he was probably the best 4-3 DT ever. 330 lb guy, running a 4.69/40, nasty disposition, great technique and with a high motor who didn't take plays off .... wow. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mii03mX0soA&feature=youtube_gdata_player
  15. No not if he seriously thought he could personally sue him, this is terrible. But I think that packer lineman he laid out with the late hit (whose probably solvent) might have cracked a smile
  16. Freddie would be a great story for the old guys. Unfortunately they've teased a lot recently and not gotten it done: Norman and Watson at British, Freddie at masters.
  17. If I had to pick a dark horse I'd say Ross Fischer. Idk why he just looks like a guy that will win a major
  18. They didn't sell cups, just prepackaged cartons for $100. Didn't get exactly how many ounces, but it looked like enough for about 10-15 cups. If they sold by cup I would have tried one, but may have heaved given how boldly the civets were displayed lol
  19. Update: I found a reputable place that sells the beans today. Funny they don't try to hide the source, instead proudly displaying a civet on the box cover. Only serves to make me less willing to drink aomething that passed thru its butt. Then they put an opened packet under my nose to sniff the aroma, pretty much strike 2 as it again reinforced the civets butt, the sniffing that is. Strike 3 it smelled pretty much like Starbucks. Not that I dislike Starbucks just not worth what amounted to $15/cup, at a minimum purchase of $100 worth of beans.
  20. Tiger or Phil, pretty much business as usual, they've both won already this year and btw them have 7 green jackets. . Donald's too short off the tee, Westwood can't close the deal and rory is too streaky.
  21. We're drafting an LT but not necessarily in round 1.
  22. Our 3 big names in the front 4 - Williams, Williams and dareus - can all play pass and run. I think barnet will continue to carry his own weight, shepherd and oft injured merriman I don't know. But with a better front 7 I think our secondary as a unit will be quite capable in run support.
  23. Hopefully. Because you can't remain competitive when half your starters end up on iR
