Yeah nice win. Well said they didnt go into an emotional shell. I thought getting KG more active in the paint was the most important change they made. Both series now hav taken on a different complexion after game 3

Bills mentioned in Saints bounty ledger
truth on hold replied to JPL7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No cluster at all. Give is a rest dude. Theres been no official release of the ledger. The yahoo and ap reports are only citing "a person close to the matter" kind of thing. Who cares if quotes from unnamed sources differ somewhat. Fact is you have the DC issuing a complete unconditional apology an admittance of guilt, a HC who appealed the decision only to get more clarity on what he's allowed to do via as vis NFL during his year suspension - nothing - , players testifying against players, coaches testifying against players, perhaps a ledger of some kind, coach caught on tape, etc etc. plenty of evidence for conviction in a civil suit which this is analogous to. Fines, penalties and suspensions are not based on how effective the program may have been, it's that it existed in the first place, the intent of which was explicitly forbidden under NFL rules. You and all other saints fans and season ticket holders should be venting on your team and no one else. -

Plenty of opportunies to drill a guy in the nuts in a pile -
I agree the 2010 contract was rich, but that wasn't WEOs point ( at least how I read it ) The 2010 contract compensated him for moving to a position where at best look like crap as he learned it. At worst he'd never get it. Bills must have struck a bargain we're going to move you, your performance will suffer , but we got you covered. Again, if you want to blame someone, blame the bills. Which I did at the time, switch to 3-4 was dumbest thing they did.

Jaurons brain was carted off after deciding not to go for it on 4th and short in the 4th quarter with the bills down only 3 and starting to show signs of life moving the ball on offense. Deciding instead to make the saints "earn it." which of course they did on their next possession on a by then tired and worn out defense. -
His new contract overlapped with being moved to the wrong spot. Again, not his fault.

Now he fancies himself a "corporation". Lol. New nickname "Revis Incorporated" http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/jets/ny-jets-darrelle-revis-rule-training-camp-holdout-article-1.1087977 This can't be a good sign for Jets thinking he'll play under the existing contract. This guys all about maximizing his value, which isn't playing for around $5mm/year.

Yeah @ OLB he was out of position a lot because he was a fish out of water. But that's on chan & co for putting him there.

No they're taking about his play on Sunday. HE'S A GOOD FOOTBALL PLAYER. Not great, not bad, in between which is good. Tough, physical, doesn't miss many tackles, can put some heat on the QB, good quickness, doesn't get caught out of position, plays hard for entire 60 mins. (while playing his rightful position of DE) There's no evidence his status has been justified by what he does off field and in the locker room. Thats just more of this stereotype of the white player as lacking athletically and having to make it up in other ways. Doesn't apply here.

I find this girl really, really attractive
truth on hold replied to The Poojer's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Woman in OP is ok but i wouldn't say amazing, not worthy of her own thread. More like girl next door cute (next door in Bombay ). Zhang Ziyi is more like it when I think of something special http://www3.images.coolspotters.com/photos/554228/zhang-ziyi-profile.jpg http://www.wallpaperlife.net/wallpapers_images/celebrities/female/zhang_ziyi/zhang_ziyi%20(10).jpg http://www.neonpunch.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/zhang_ziyi5.jpg http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--wShA7vJ0bc/TeQaSr-5eAI/AAAAAAAAANs/YGnNXEO7tr8/s1600/r_zhang_ziyi.jpg -
I bet he sits if he doesn't get a new deal that pays 8 figures per over next 2 years. I see jets adding another year to say they got something out of it. Revis doesn't see himself getting paid mid 7 figures for his services per year locked in for next 2, especially in his prime. His ego and monetary desires won't allow it.

Lovely. Jets are between rock and hard place this time. Little cap room and needs to address. --------- FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- Three weeks after claiming he's happy with his contract, New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis fueled a new round of speculation Thursday by refusing to guarantee he will report for the start of training camp. "I don't know," Revis said after the Jets' OTA practice, becoming testy. "That's all I'm telling you. I don't know if I am or I'm not." http://m.espn.go.com/nfl/story?storyId=7993415

Did T.J. Graham sign a contract?
truth on hold replied to ronhelms40's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Only in the sense that anyone posting on a message board is. Beyond that just offering up some ideas why he's unsigned. I don't claim to have a crystal ball /special access allowing me to make definitive "absolutely yes/absolutely no" declarations like some of you though. As for graham I had a hunch the seeds were sown for contract problems from the beginning, because he was drafted so much higher than forecast. So low that many analysts didnt bother forecasting him at all, and this one that did put him at the bottom of the 5th. http://m.bleacherreport.com/articles/1129035-tj-graham-to-bills-video-highlights-scouting-report-and-analysis The problem I saw was graham letting it go to his head and holding out for the max, and the bills taken aback by his reaction and offering to pay at the very bottom of the range for his draft slot. And if you think in negotiations teams don't lay it on thick about how "without us you could have been drafted at least 2 rounds later blah blah blah," I'd say you're extremely naive. -

There must be some degree of variation in these deals Othereise there'd be nothing to negotiate. Can always soften it by making it more incentive driven: "if you play like the xx overall, you'll get paid like it " -

These are negotiations, both sides will use what ammo they have to try and get a better deal. -

Just craft the language broadly , give law enforcement a lot f discretion shutting it down. Stakes are too high to let this crap get out. I think the real problem however is more likely due to slow reaction time/ logistics coordinating across the Country. If there's anything good comes out of his god awful incident it could be a catalyst to get them off the shelves and the manufacturers behind bars. -

What if it's the bills side who are trying to pay him something less than his draft position, saying he could have been a 5th or 6th rounder. So he ought to e happy theyre offer is more like a late 3rd/ high 4th? -
Again I think the motivation was money. . Had he been out longer from the beginning due to repair surgery he wouldn't have been getting paid. And given the devestating, often times career ending nature of Achilles tears, he may not have gotten a serious look afterwards. My feeling all along is he wanted to find a way to maintain his income and keep his Tila tequila-type celerity girlfriends happy, while barely being able to play. Give the man credit he pulled it off.

Ok I guess you definitely know everything. Must have special access. I was merely wondering. I also wonder (if that's ok with you) if they're emphasizing to graham and his agent they drafted him higher than consensus, another reason to get in line because he won't find anyone else willin to treat him like a 3rd.( Again only if you approve of my wondering and speculation, given your special definitive access.) obviously not since you're interpreting it differently. -
