  1. Lol pooj I knew you would. And bow would too, might take a few singha's but he would lol Me? Looks aren't bad and she's witty, but I'm just too concerned about "bobbitt" risk.
  2. If giving a guy a tryout "messes with your team chemistry" you don't have a team in the first place.
  3. Didn't see it but beforehand I didn't see any way bradley could win. Didn't have the power KO him and given all the punches Manny throws couldn't out score him either. From the post fight commentary sure sounds like something odd happened. Some are speculating arum because he manages both fighters and benefits 2x from the guaranteed rematch clause if Manny lost. http://m.bleacherreport.com/articles/1215814-manny-pacquiao-lost-bob-arum-to-blame-for-pac-mans-defeat
  4. Yeap Going to be a great series. This is the one I wanted. 2 most talented teams. I would have given slight edge to OKC given deeper bench, but Heat really grew this series with lebron dominating game 6 and turning it on in game 7 facing elimination, and bosh hitting the clutch 3's.
  5. Yes that's right an I've skewed to athletes that possess a certain amount of size, speed and raw force generation. Also for guys who performed at a superior level in head to head competition, versus Olympic individual measurements. For example I dont see a Bruce Jenner lasting more than a few plays in basketball or football. Maybe slightly better chance at baseball. And using those 3 sports guys who would score highest on an equally weighted performance in all 3. Another sport I could have chosen from could have been boxing based on size, speed, force and stamina, but the best athletes like Floyd mayweather are small.
  6. Just because we stunk last year doesn't mean we can't laugh at them. Relative to their bold statements of winning the super bowl and getting their locker room together, they're a joke. While bills have conceded they're in rebuilding mode.
  7. Brady emphatically stated ocho wasn't any kind of problem after that blowhard brushci tried starting crap in the media
  8. What are you talking about? Nba did unthinkable and allowed zone defense BECAUSE no one could guard him one on one.
  9. From what I understand wilt got consistently outplayed by bill Russell, all 6"9" 220 lbs of him. There's no chance a guy that small stops shaq in the paint , none , zero.
  10. Well yeah that's true, but it may just be their system and having Welker and gronk getting most of the looks. Moss performance with them really dropped off when they picked up gronk. We'll see this season, but one off year by chad certainly wouldn't make me not even give him a work out. If he can't impress relative to Donald jones. then yeah he is done lol
  11. No secret he wasn't a good outside shooter. But again did he need to be ? Guy averaged 24 pts/ game.
  12. Why not dunk it when nobody can stop you in the paint? Like Doug Collins said when he was announcer at the time, shaq is the hardest guy ever to officiate when he has the ball because no one could resist him. Is it an offensive charge or defensive block? Guy was unbelievable, rolled around like a running back that just happened to go 7' 330 lbs.
  13. Exacty. We're a pass-first team with only one WR of note. We shouldn't be turning any name WR down for a try out.
  14. Nice read on on TBD top story. Some more slight of hand fr nix not positioning him as a guard for fear he'd get picked off PS. Great athletic ability and good attitude, I hope he makes it.
  15. Could look at the other way: with Welker and Gronk firmly established as the targets, how could anyone else get many balls thrown their way? Wouldn't hurt us AT ALL to have him in for a tryout.
  16. For his size, who else was in his league? Wilt Chamberlain maybe? I didn't see him, but it's my understanding his playing weight was at least 50 lbs lighter than Shaq's.
  17. Didn't TO lead the team in recieving stats that year ?
  18. I can only comment on those I've seen (sorry Jim Thorpe). For years I've been going back and forth between shaq and bo Jackson. Shaq, 7 foot tall, 330 lb guy who was proportioned like a 6 foot tall running back. With size, quickness and agility, he pretty much went where he wanted on the court. So dominant in one on one , they changed the rules to allow for zone defense. Bo, a little over 6' and 230, even at his size he was often the fastest guy on the field. Never saw anyone run in a straight line and create as much force as he did. And was versatile too, equally skilled at pro baseball. Couldn't choose between them because shaq was a little too big to be really fast and versatile, and bo was a little too small and hefty, and lacked the lateral mobility to be good at a sport basketball. Then came Lebron James, between them in height and weight. Powerfully built like a linebacker, lighting quick, lateral agility and superior elevation. Great stamina too, gets a lot of minutes and plays both ends of the floor. Can create almost as much force as shaq and has some of the "violence" needed for football, , but being smaller can play any position on the court, and seems well equipped to be a force at several sports . He gets my vote.
  19. Give him a tryout, no downside in that. We have a pass-oriented offense with many questions in our WR corp
  20. More like "Boston Brick Layers"
  21. Don't know who she was but always thought Welsh had one of the hottest women ever on an album cover http://www.rocknationradio.com/samHTMweb/pictures/Welch,-Bob-French-Kiss.jpg
