  1. Funny that's what TT reminds me of...a promising HS player.
  2. Sick of the game managers. If we go down lets at least go down swinging. Put EJ back and let him air it out. People can biatch all they want about his early performance against jags, but be brought us back to a late 4thQ lead, making best use anyone could hope for of our limited arsenal that game. Does anyone really think TT could recover from that deficit? When we get behind with him at QB I have pretty much zero faith he leads us back.
  3. Best HCs are really managers who show good judgement about who to hire and how to regulate their limitations, especially the OC and DC. Guys like coughlin, bellichick, Carroll, etc are great at that. Rex's problem is that he has no one to regulate his bias of a having a running back at the QB position . Like gailey before him thinking he needed a rocket scientist. I take in Rex's case it comes from his defensive perspective that they're harder to game plan for, and Hailey thinking he'd concocted some brilliant but complex scheme. Occasionally those guys like tebow will get you in post season if everything else goes right, problem is they wont get you far. That said I still think we have decent shot (1 in 3? chance) at the last WC spot. But from seeing how the top teams play, I have no expectation we go anywhere past that round
  4. A lot better than TT's
  5. Let's see your lengthy criticism of US media like fox when they're beating the drums for more us intervention
  6. Speaking of bias, "defense contractor" Tom chimes in on side of who's buying our weapons and stirring up trouble in the region, so the vicious cycle continues
  7. another one of our terror loving "allies"
  8. Sheldon Silver, New York political powerbroker, convicted of corruption http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2015/nov/30/sheldon-silver-convicted-corruption-new-york-political-powerbroker
  9. Thing is when you're as tall as he is youre going to look a little awkward and gangly (like a basketball player). But that said he looked a lot smoother than I expected in my first time watching him. With his leverage those punches have a lot more power than it may appear. Klitschko at 6'6" is tall too, i wonder if this points to the future in that division.
  10. In addition to physical skills (which most QBs have sans Fitzpatrick), he has leadership skills. IMO we haven't had one with those combined traits since who knows when. In that position its a necessity.
  11. ....looks like the real deal. All 6'9" of him. Haven't been interested in heavyweight division in a while, but the newly crowned, undefeated champ has me interested again. (Cool name for a fighter too) Makes wild accusation but could it be legit? Tyson Fury calls Wladimir Klitschko camp 'cheats,' feared he'd be drugged http://espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/id/14258973/tyson-fury-feared-drugged-wladimir-klitschko-camp
  12. Goodell's payback for defeat at deflategate
  13. Same injury Cruz suffered I think. Feel bad for the guy.
  14. 1) Although loss wasn't on him, at end of the day Taylor doesn't have it. He has no presence to command the offense. The TDs to watkins were set plays any QB could make, and at least one could have easily been a pick. That was more about watkins and the set play call than the QB. When called on to make reads, go thru possessions, extend plays at critical times, look off defenders, decisive throws into tight coverage... etc etc ... he falls short. His speed is negated by his slight frame which requires just getting a hand on him to redirect or get him down. People keep comparing him to Wilson due to stature, but the difference is Wilson is strong and stocky, and has enough strength to keep his balance and direction, and take on a tackler to get that extra yard. And perhaps what bothers me most ... he simply cannot sense pressure, especially from the right side. 2 games in a row now he's coughed up key 2nd half fumbles because he couldnt see a defender bearing down right on him 2) Although not on them either, my favorite pair of DBs ever in Bills unis, came up short at key moments. 3) As Ive said before Robert Woods is not a legit #2. He is already being edged out by another non-legit #2 in Hogan. We really need to find someone in FA who can play that role next season 4) Shady is good and fun to watch. but not good enough to carry a team (I dont think any RB is in this day and age). Still wish we'd saved the coin and invested more in the OLine 5) Coaching really needs to be questioned for lack of half time adjustments on both sides of the ball (which implicates the HC) 6) All that said, all hope is not lost. 5 games left (3 of which against the horrible NFC east. all of whom have losing records), and Texans and Jets at home. Possible to make a run and have a shot at that 6th spot
  15. wouldnt be so sure of that with rex
  16. although loss wasnt on him, at end of the day he doesnt have it. he has no presence out there to command the offense. the TDs to watkins were set plays anyone QB could make. that was more about watkins and the set play call than the QB. when called on to make reads, go thru possessions, extend plays at critical times, look off defenders, decisive throws into tight coverage... etc etc ... he falls short. 17. He's just too light. Whenever a defender gets the slightest hand on him he just gets pushed away. I'm not in any way putting the loss solely on him, but he reminds me of a little kid out there. Or at best someone who's still in high school. On that play a bigger QB can push it inside on the defenders to get that extra yard
  18. Oh yeah? Redskins won today which puts eagles just a game back. And before someone says "but they suck", how about look who's in freaking first in that division!
  19. He IS being asked to throw. For example, they must have dialed up that first play to watkins against jets over the middle all week. He just badly missed it
  20. Bowles is onto gailey: Bowles was more candid than usual during the week when he said his team needs to simplify and get back to basics, particularly on offense. He made a good analogy that the Jets have tried to advance to trigonometry when they need to just stick with algebra. http://nypost.com/2015/11/28/nosediving-qb-wr-rb-the-alarming-signs-jets-year-is-ending/ That's what the HC is there for, keep the OC and DC ontrack and offset their bad tendencies. Question is who will do that to Rex since he doesn't understand the QB position?
  21. He won the 40-time competition in training camp, and thats all she wrote. Just as chans bias was thinking he needed a brainiac to run his offense and overlooked Fitz obvious limitations , I fear this staff exposed their bias for speed and overlooked what truly is important for succeeding at the position which is throwing from the pocket to all parts of the grid
  22. Jim Kelly was a drinker and partier. A HoF'er you would have given up on
  23. Both of those losses were at the Ralph. Arrowhead will be a tougher place to play
  24. My gut feels like a gritty gut check win by the bills, but the head says a low scoring loss. That defense that can stop the run and bring edge pressure matches up perfectly against us. But their offense doesn't scare me at all, and our secondary should be able to keep everything in front of them and contain them. Loss could be a 10-17 kind of score. Unless we get a breakout performance from someone like shady or even Clay, and pull off a close upset. I don't have much hope in Taylor connecting with our WRs.
