  1. Looks like we're back to ancient people being really good stone craftsman and crazy hallucinators.
  2. I thought when jets had Holmes and edwards together they made one heck of a tandem, who were clicking with Sanchez. Check out highlights from that period :
  3. Elite Football League of India, a new and curious venture aimed at introducing American football to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and other countries in Asia. It is a perhaps quixotic undertaking, but it could prove to be lucrative should the game achieve some measure of popularity within the vast population of potential fans. “When you first watch the games, it’s laughable,” said Richard Whelan, one of the founders and co-chief executive of the league. “But if you watch it for more than five minutes, you want to know how it ends. It’s an absolute joke compared to the N.F.L. But it’s not a joke compared to anything else on Indian sports television, and that’s all we’re going up against.” http://www.nytimes.c...wanted=all&_r=0
  4. The play action, roll out right. Sanchez can do that too but I think can do more than just that , can't say the same for plummer. That's why shannie soured on him
  5. Its true that play action is his best asset. I always thought of him as a glorified Jake plummer. But isn't "Jake plummer only better" worth considering ? As far as winning games Sanchez had no problem with that when he had a strong defense , running game and good WR corp. I believe we can offer all that going forward.
  6. One thing they both seem to suffer from is vision. Both listed at 6'2" I'd think that would be enough. Unless you're a flat out burner like RG3, is the new standard for QBs 6'4" or greater like both mannings, Brady and luck?
  7. Well its true its like starting pitchers in baseball. If you have a strong rotation you're competitive. If you're rotation is weak no matter what else you have can't make up for it.
  8. Well maybe not so fast. He utilized edwards and Holmes well and I thought it was a mistake for them not finding a way to keep edwards. And in his first season back from jail he made plaxico productive with 600 yard and 8 TDs. Holmes is a problem and acted up at the first sign of trouble last year, which didn't make Sanchez job any easier. And this year the tebow-sub lunacy, no running game and Holmes injury after he'd finally simmered down, I just don't see any QB excelling in that situation.
  9. Yes so ben did him one better. still that's some elite company to be hanging with.
  10. Had a QB in his 1st and 2nd year combined ever taken a team farther ?
  11. Braylon Edwards called jets decision makers "idiots" blaming them for Sanchez benching. He said Sanchez is a "beast" and will prove it given the proper opportunity. http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=0ap1000000105772&template=blank&confirm=true I've never been a Sanchez fan, but I have to admit the way they intended to use him this year subbing tebow in the red zone was "idiotic." Yes he's regressed from his first 2 seasons but why? If jets part ways with him should we give him a look? At a minimum he can be expected to deliver better performances against jets than we've been accustomed to lately. If that adds 2 division wins that alone is huge. Thoughts?
  12. Later man. Dont forget pats texans next week!
  13. Thats what scares me about him. On the field I like him better than luck, but given the injury risk I'd probably pick luck given a choice
  14. Or did FJ's comments a week earlier open the lid on players openly expressing how they'd like to see the offense run?
  15. Not to bust on fitz too much (I already did that starting in pre season and havent bothered in a while), but how in the heck are we going to compete against teams with QBs this good?
  16. Didn't he say something post game about importance of getting the run game going because that's where the teams best talent is?
  17. he looked bad on the sidelines last night. Can't believe hes only 54, thought he looked much older " ... Andrew Walter "Andy" Reid (born March 19, 1958) is the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles of the NFL ..."
  18. I think in part it had to do with lindell saying he could make them. I think it also shows he respected colts offense more on the road than jags at the Ralph, because missing gives the other team good starting field position. I'm OK with both decisions.
  19. Hopefully FA will help address some of our issues. With obvious needs at qb and mlb, and an emerging need at center if wood is gone, I'm afraid its unreasonable to expect all of them to be addressed via the draft. Fortunately bills have cap space for further FA moves.
  20. Could just be a sprain or pull. You never know. No way in heck he goes back on the field at all after the 2 season ending injuries he'd already suffered.
  21. All 3 of the teams we're looking up at for the WC - colts, stillers, bengals - were losing in the 4th qtr on the road. All 3 won. Against lions and chargers its to be expected, ravens was the shocker.
  22. Foles sure did. That was weird like he has a blind spot. BTW Reid is looking worn out physically and mentally. If he becomes available for 2013 dont think I'd want him if he still looks so drawn.
  23. What is the purpose of the hole in the stadium ceiling?
  24. At least MNF has defending champs and RG3, I'm soooooo sick of the coverage eagles and cowboys get.
  25. SJ did a post game interview and indicated it was a just a slight pull. mckelvin "back tightness" one wouldnt expect would be serious. hairston didn't look too concerned going to locker room. Wood was on cart but reading his facial expression wasn't defeatist. Maybe with his history the cast afterward was precautionary. Who knows but wouldn't be surprised if Johnson and McKelvin are "probable", Hairston "questionable", and Wood out 2 - 3 weeks. ** fingers crossed **
