  1. Sweet throw from Ryan ... Bills fans can only look on envy
  2. Typical Lions, pee away momentum from Megatrons big play with a fumble
  3. I see no chance of that. Not heralded coming into NFL, would be on his 4th team, horrible record as a starter, pretty much understood he doesnt have an NFL arm. Cant imagine any team getting excited about giving him the ball. Sanchez would only be on his second team, 1st round pick, winning record as starter, 2x deep into playoffs, better physical skills, 5 yrs younger ... much better chance of getting another shot somewhere else
  4. Don't "hate" any of them. But I dislike that old fool mercury morris who comes out of his cave to root against any team with a shot at an undefeated season.
  5. Well yeah its hard to have any faith in the worst team in NFL protecting a lead. But maybe Megatron has a game big enough while he's trying to break rice's record it overcomes that. But still probably not ... Lol
  6. Good catch. And here I thought I had no reason to watch.
  7. At least they went for Manning , it didnt work out because he chose Denver. Extending Sanchez was a way of consoling/giving a vote of confidence afterwards. 9ers did same thing with smith when they failed to land manning too
  8. Good point. Let's not also forget they made a play for manning in the off season, who for sure would have started over Sanchez. Bills made no attempt to upgrade from fitz, far from it: they've only kept other qb's that are no threat to start
  9. Its not as simple as blaming media hungry owners. Oc sparano was so in love with the wildcat he wanted to run an extended version of it.
  10. @meat, your opening paragraph on fits IMO is completely wrong. If he gets cut tomorrow ain't a team in the league picks him up as a starter. And I don't see bills getting anything to trade him. As for VY the problem with the "he must be bad because no one will make him a backup" is that all it takes to be a starter is for someone to believe in you when all 31 other teams have no interest (eg Sanchez), and all it takes to go from no where to being somebody is for one team to give you a chance and you capitalize on it (eg curt warner from arena to super bowl QB).
  11. Some folks may question the ability of the eagles to assess talent the past couple seasons
  12. And coaches blame coaches. So there you go. Everyone says the politacally correct thing Bring me the bickering bills again.
  13. Sanchez is gone no matter what because the fans won't accept him. Tebow maybe stays if Ryan is gone. I know its assumed Ryan is safe. But you never know. His act has worn thin and its known jets DC pettine wants a HC job.
  14. All 3 bills QBs had horrible pre seasons , except thig in the last game, and VY in the quarter he made that great athletic deep throw to graham which no other bill qb could make. That's why I said make it clear then its an open competition and not fitz job. He had the most time with starters and in chains system and looked the worst. Also to your point maybe bills were worse. I'd make a wholesale swap of our QBs for theirs right now, barring financial considerations. All 3 you can make an argument for unknown upside in a new setting. Whereas IMO all 3 bills qbs the potential is known to be sub-nfl caliber
  15. Good question. This year I'd say jets. Over last 3 I'd say bills. At least jets have a young qb they've been grooming they can give a chance
  16. Add jets DC mike pettine to the list of candidates. Word out of NY he turned down extension offer because he wants to be a HC
  17. "Thirteen" by Megadeth Because I've lived, how many times do I have to die? Because I've lived, how many lives do I have to die? Thirteen times and it's been lucky for me After everything, you still want me to bleed Thirteen ways to see the devil in my eyes Because I stood here thirteen times and I'm still alive I can't get out; I can't jump out Too much to face; I can't erase https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4X4TLPYiw4c&feature=youtube_gdata_player
  18. Good. Save the trees. If you want to put it up on your mantle print it out.
  19. I appreciate your perspective on it but there are others too. After all how many people in NY this time last season would have said tebow will be a jet next season ? Here's another perspective from the top sports page in NY reviewing jets qb options next year: Matt Flynn, Seahawks Hardly a sure thing, but he was schooled under Mike McCarthy and Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay. A straight-up swap for Sanchez would be salary-cap friendly enough and reunite Sanchez with Carroll. Flynn signed a three-year, $19.5 million deal with the Seahawks — and has thrown nine passes all season. His 2013 base salary is $5.25 million. His 2014 base salary is $6.25 million. http://m.nypost.com/p/blogs/jetsblog/jets_quarterback_options_for_next_gPhRs0bZ5ykGsLmmrp0lqO
  20. Who were never serious about giving him a legit shot at starting QB
  21. Media darling? Lol this guys been the target of more smear campaigns and underhanded "anonymous" slams than any athlete in history.
  22. Thats right. because nobody ever gets traded, and there are never any surprises, no matter how big or small.
  23. Only WR he's reminiscent of to me is michael Irvin.
  24. yeah dodo I get that. never said it wasn't, but that there are ways to restructure it amongst willing parties. Funny how your panties are all in a bunch at me, while being completely silent on the $17.5MM hard trade number tossed out that was completely wrong.
