You like to take cheap shots and name call. You obviously don't know anything about corporate governance , ignorance and attitude often go hand in hand , as in your case.
Ralph owns the team, he calls the shots, he has final approval on everything. Brandon knows he has to do things with an eye to keep Ralph happy. And in a strict legal sense there are plenty of items that will need Ralph's explicit approval and sign off.
Example: You think it Brandon can hire a big name coach at a cost that would put the team in deficit and require Ralph to spend money as owner? And he can just do that and Ralph will passively go along? LOL
No one knows if that's actually how it's going to play out. And to what degree Ralph is out of the process. And even if he's conpletely out he has the authority to fire Brandon or anyone else at any time if he doesn't like what they're doing. He's very much involved no matter.
Have to really wonder what will change since Brandon is still reporting to Wilson. Will he really have authority to do whatever it is he wants? We'll see, but this could end up being much ado about nothing.
Good point on Pryor.
To arrive at an estimate of 3 I just probability weighted the teams odds of taking QB. Something like chiefs .9, jags .5, raiders .2, lions .05, cards .7, browns .3, eagles .15 = 2.8
Funny how all the gun lovers tout the safety benefit of having guns in the house arguing it deters would be intruders, yet they go bat$#&% when the names/locations of gun owners are released, which if their claim is correct would maximize the deterrance effect
Way overstates probable QB demand ....
1) Chiefs yes will take QB
2) Jags may not take QB with gabbert, henne and expected arrival of tebow. Have a boatload of needs on both sides of ball
3) Raiders have a lot invested in palmer and he's not the reason they're playing bad
4) Eagles like foles, has all the physical skills, can't imagine taking a QB now
5) lions little chance with Stafford and wealth of needs on both sides of ball
6) Browns will likely stay with what weeden another year
7) cardinals not a lock to take QB. With their horrible line whats the point ?
Weighting all that id project 3 are taken before we pick
How do you know it wasn't? He can be happy they made the playoffs and disappointed he came up 9 short of the record. And to my earlier point, his pursuit of the record was the single biggest factor in their success on offense this season. It sure wasn't ponder.
A lot of great backs that's how they motivate themselves to play best and hence help their teams the most. Emmitt being the best example. I have no problem with AP going for it and being disappointed for coming up just 9 yards short. Per his average that's less than 2 carries.
Heard this at (of all places) a Japanese toy store today. My recollection of the song was bad. But I have to admit today it had the joint rocking .....
