  1. I'm talking in the sense of a big name not coming here like a shanahan or harbaugh because they refuse to deal with a meddling ralph. I don't see a B player like marrone without as many options seeing that as a reason to have turned us down
  2. Well I really doubt we couldnt have landed this guy even if ralph were still in charge. The idea was to clear ralph out to remove an obstacle to landing a big name coach. He's hardly one if the bigger names floating around. So far theres no "Russ effect"
  3. Oh no this may mean we draft nassib in rd 1 too. Not happy about any of this.
  4. Pro bowl was more entertaining than that
  5. People are busting on Dalton for one missed long pass today and saying green is perfect , fail to acknowledge the lone dalton pick was totally greens fault
  6. The 12 Bengals weren't
  7. It wasnt. Theres a much greater distance between the 85' bears and bills, versus 12' Bengals and bills.
  8. He's a poor man's Fitz
  9. Mentioning 85' bears in same sentence as Bengals is absurd. Bengals got no pressure at all on schaub today. And other than halls pick they really did nothing special and folded at crunch time. Offensively Dalton has no consistent run game to rely on. Add to that he stepped into a franchise with a losing attitude and he's done one heck of a job helping to turn them around.
  10. who's backing up Webb? cant be worse, give him a try 2nd half
  11. This game is hard to watch, Webb was simply not ready to play. Dont think Ill bother w/ 2nd half
  12. When considering Flynn also looked great as starter and set a single game record besting Rodgers and Favre, you have to score this one for McCarthy
  13. Anybody who doesn't see Dalton is superior to Fitz = Lloyd Christmas Junior
  14. Good grief Webb looks bad. btw did Mathews get away with a trip on that sack?
  15. Vikings linemen have to learn to get their hands up in the passing lanes
  16. I like Dalton, he has no running game and only one major threat to throw to. Hes tough and very hard to bring down. He needs to throw a better deep ball at times, but that one long completion to AJ shows its a throw he can make. How people are trashing a QB who's brought a perenial loser to consecutive playoff appearances starting as a rookie is beyond me
  17. Thats what Bengals lack the most: consistent running game
  18. great route he ran on 3rd down
  19. nice, miss that FG and its game over
  20. Terrible, that ones on Green
  21. yeap, and the whole drive getting Green involved and their 1st points on O
  22. brief look Dalton may not have been going forward with it
  23. Im impressed with Dalton's scrambling and ability to avoid a sack.
  24. Bangles offense needs to stay on the field and give the D a rest. Or its only a matter of time before the HOU FGs become TDs
  25. Chances you have to take. That's where there's value and you round out winning squads. Bills need to lose the draft only "coachable choir boys" mentality.
