Smoked. Lost both today outright and spread. 2-4 post season. Have to root for pats blowout to have chance to get back to .500. How much does that suck.
Actually I can't believe they didn't go for it on 4th and 5 from around mid field down 2 scores. Was there really any doubt 9ers would score again if they got the ball? McCarty is a terrific coach but that was an elephant size brain fart.
No but we weren't in position to draft those guys so its irrelevant. I think being oversold on fitz accounts for passing on the other guys. If you weren't sold on him how could you not draft qb? They paid him and verbally committed to him being their guy. Not sure what other proof you need or I can offer.
I chalk that up to chans arrogance no one short of an ivy league egghead was smart enough to run his offense. If chan makes a plea to draft QB I totally see buddy obliging.
They were tied at 10, with RR 7 assists. But suggs had 2 sacks and a FF. Given ILB will have natural advantage in tackle/assists, statistically I'd say suggs had better performance. I'm amazed the speed he shows coming back so soon from Achilles.
Actually they stopped one short. Peterson (rookie pro bowl) over dareus. Peterson Gilmore Byrd who ever else = best secondary in football. Ball hawks peterson and byrd strike fear in opposing QBs. Coverage sacks soar.
Hats off to ravens. They outplayed broncos all day, took away Miller and confused Manning. 2 special teams plays obscured an otherwise dominant performance.
Gotta be impressed with ravens offense. No one gave them a chance against Denver but they've been able to move it on the ground , protect flacco and score some points.
I posted earlier there's no clear tendency for transitioning college HCs to stress taking their QB with them. In part because for career reasons they don't want to identity themselves too closely with one player I would think. So lack of precedent + Nassirs projection well past 8 again leads me to conclude very low chance we take him there.
That's true for every winner there will be multiple losers. Reason being the winners tend to stay in their jobs a lot longer. Bills have had something like 4-5 coaches since bellichik took over in NE.
You're acting like anyone they'd want doesnt have options. Which means they also have a reputation they want to protect and not hop aboard a sinking ship and share in the blame for a declining situation with limited options.
