  1. Nope, this is significant because you have a high profile public company determining that consumer pressure against guns is more important than bullying tactics of NRA. Groupons consumers are important because the younger demographic points to an increasing future trend as the old guard gun lovers die off. That some rednecks like you ran out to stock up on more guns and ammo is just a blip on the radar screen. As a matter of fact its a reflection of their belief of stricter gun laws in the future too.
  2. Hey bud the "accused" is Renaiah Tuiasosopo.
  3. Groupon Inc. has stopped all current and future gun-related deals, bowing to customer pressure a month after the deadly mass shooting in Newtown, Conn. http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-groupon-guns-20130122,0,1312978.story
  4. Gotta luv how renaiah's pastor father keeps using religion to shield His son from accountability: Several reporters were also in attendance, but Tuiasosopo declined to discuss details with them afterward and offered only a brief comment at the beginning of service before a guest pastor gave the sermon. "My statement is: God is still on his throne," said Tuiasosopo. http://m.christianpost.com/news/father-of-alleged-creator-of-manti-teo-hoax-god-is-still-on-his-throne--88647/ Yeah right. You're still in the throne dude, as in the toilet
  5. I'd take him he's plenty good as an athlete. His game reminds me of teddy bruschi: smart, intense, has the size at 250, makes the defensive calls, playmaker that gets interceptions, tackling machine who will do his part as long as the guys in front of him do theirs. Can't ask for anything more. You dont lead a team in tackling by being a poor tackler.
  6. That's a really good point. Bama was able to move the ball in that game as well. Didn't score quite as many points but that can be attributed to Georgia's offense having a lot more success against bama's D than ND's.
  7. After reading that he sounds less complicit than I thought. The scene was described by someone else as chaotic, and observed lewis imploring his party to get in his limo (presumably to stay out of it). He may have fudged the facts afterward to try and protect his buds or to make it seem like he wasn't there , which though not excusable, is no where near as bad as murdering people. Then struck a deal with prosecutors to come clean. All things considered, I'd say its time to move on from this.
  8. She pretty much punched his ticket out of town. Kraft will hate this. Remember welker didn't start against jets just for some foot references. They wouldn't give him a long term deal last year. They won't franchise him again. He's getting older. And yes his #'s still look good but if you pay attention he's not coming down with catchable balls at an increasing rate. Also losing a step, getting caught from behind on what he used to break for TDs. With his age and injury history that's to be expected. With gronk set to return he's that Mich more expendable. Kraft will not pay Weller anywhere near what he thinks hes worth.
  9. 3 super bowls in 4 yrs. Punch said pats were only team to have done that since merger
  10. Aikmans cowboys won 3 of 4 SB's
  11. Good. Maybe he'll take Fitz with him.
  12. Te’o’s fake dead girlfriend was named “Lennay Kekua,’’ and there is a real family named Kekua that lived six doors from Tuiasosopo, though no Lennay. Tuiasosopo was a no-show yesterday at his father’s nearby church, the Oasis Christian Church of the Antelope Valley, where he normally plays in the band. The dad cried during the service and thanked supporters. http://m.nypost.com/f/mobile/news/national/dame_name_game_txjV7qZHkPa26nrjW8TyOI
  13. Frequency has nothing to do with agenda. Fig_Newtons has the most obvious agenda and hes something like 40th on the list. Ferquency is a function of interest and time. Agenda is revealed by content.
  14. Accounting for all that he didn't look good. And theyve won plenty without gronk whose hurt half the time anyway. The injury that really hurt today was talib, effected a lot of what they wanted to do defensively.
  15. No they've had an amazing run. However based on what I saw today that window is closing.
  16. The worst half I can recall Brady ever having. Picks, deflections, poor decisions, physically limited .... I've been a huge admirer of his game over the years, but at his age I think he's declining.
  17. That 67-0 with Brady was one of those that had to crack at some point.
  18. Pats look like bills run defense: know its coming nothing they can do about it
  19. Lol Brady way slower than a guy who weighs 150llbs more
  20. Wow pollard is a pats killer. Is he an UFA next year?
  21. I gotta feeling that Baltimore is going to the super bowl
  22. Was he down though? Looked like his butt touches the ground and he has it. Belli will challenge
  23. If I'm bellichick i don't have good feelings about how this is transpiring. Their offense is a little off, and theyre playing a team with a good and aggressove D, balanced offense with a QB throws a nice deep ball. This summarizes their 2 super bowl losses.
  24. So far this has been one of the best officiated games I've seen. (Fingers crossed)
