  1. Yeah the stuff fox puts out there is crap. They save the good info for employees. Like if you're a female staffer for O'Reilly he teaches you how to masturbate properly. http://www.mahalo.com/bill-oreilly-sexual-harassment-lawsuit/
  2. He's a "Buffalo guy" .... apparently some people like to pay good money to watch a guy looks like someone at the bar next to them munching wings and slurping genny cream.
  3. Sort of out of the blue, I had this in my head and was rocking to it this morning ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=SG&v=Ypkv0HeUvTc&hl=en-GB
  4. I like sherman, I like his game, find his trash talking entertaining (especially when directed at Brady ), like his candor off field. Of course in that interview setting his words will come out overstated sounding but IMO he's more right than wrong on this. There's too many first rounders that never go any where and leave people scratching their heads after the fact why they were drafted so high (bills examples mccargo, whitner, maybin, etc), and of course the tragic busts like mandarich, the boz, and leaf, etc etc. Anyone whose played organized sports realizes there are players on their team who aren't what they're cracked up to be because their the "coaches pet" and suck up to them and play for the crowd. when you get to the national spot light level with all the money at stake you bring in a whole host of other powerful hype factors like the media and agents. Part of being a good GM is not just drafting the right guy, its knowing which guys to avoid too ... Like polian taking Manning over leaf. And BTW those saying Sherman is a dumb guy shooting his mouth off with no substance, think again , he graduated from Stanford.
  5. What sucks is this leaves open the horrifying possibility fitz is still on the roster come training camp.
  6. Um yeah I didn't use the word "sham". I said biased, its right there in the post of mine you quoted. I even said Sherman's position is over stated. If you want to obect over shermans use of the word sham, try tweeting him. And put that same guy in there , 7th rounder, negligible costs to getting rid of, probably gone by now.
  7. So you're saying the draft is a perfect assessor of raw potential, and the time one is given to succeed in the nfl should be perfectly aligned with draft order ?
  8. Well clearly his arguement is over stated. But the example you use to counter it is also biased: the higher you're drafted, the more the team is committed (including financially) to playing you; I have to believe if Bradford were a 7th rounder making league minimum, he'd be facing serious competition for his position, and potentially would no longer be the starter by now.
  9. Sounds like the paperboy and your mother in law deserved it ... LOL
  10. As opposed to a Sam Bradford, QB who suffers a pair of major injuries to his throwing shoulder, 2nd of which requires surgery and ends his last season in college. Yet being the "chosen" goes #1 overall and signs the richest rookie contract in history, with a guaranteed $50 million, that could grow to as much as $86 million. And after 3 years in NFL?: "still needs time to develop"
  11. "That's all it is, is a sham. The players that are going to be hyped, are going to be hyped," Sherman said on the "ATL Debate Club" podcast. "That's why you have half the first round as busts every year. You can go from now until the end of time. Guys have somehow maneuvered their way into the first round, maneuvered their way into the spotlight. "As long as (draft analysts) talk about him all day all night, all day, all night, it's kind of like, 'Oh, that's why he went in the first round.' Then when they're doing nothing in the league nobody notices, they just don't say much about them. 'Oh, we didn't get that one wrong, he needs time to develop.' Then three years later, 'Still time to develop.'" http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000139550/article/richard-sherman-im-proof-the-draft-process-is-a-sham
  12. Cats aren't aggressive especiallty towards much larger animals. The cat was already provoked acting presumably from something the kid was doing. From his attempt to punch the cat in the head (which was life threatening) its clear the kid had no sense of what he was doing. Like I said , good for the cat.
  13. Good for the cat. Kid had it coming
  14. For all his faults, TJ is still the best QB on the roster.
  15. Feral cat hunting .... remarkably similar to a big cat in Africa
  16. I think they're clearing room to resign Byrd and make a run at Landry @ SS. Byrd's play making, Landry's big hitting, Gilmore ... Certainly sounds like an intriguing corp secondary. Which would be consistent with pettine's setup with jets. Just don't know if they can afford Byrd and landry.
  17. I did say it then, and I said it last year when his option came up, and again in training camp that it should be an open competition, and I'm sure saying it now. Its been the wrong freaking move each time. And BTW it doesn't even matter what he said / she said, when or where. Its about doing the right thing now and cutting ties with him, which is lonnnnggggg overdue.
  18. and incredibly "good" liar http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1ca_t551lQ
  19. Anyone else following this? http://www.abc15.com/dpp/news/region_phoenix_metro/central_phoenix/jodi-arias-trial-arias-spends-6th-day-on-the-witness-stand-assaulting-alexanders-character I just started paying attention in the last couple days. There's something strangely (and apparently dangerously) captivating about her.
