  1. Sounds like an intelligent guy with an overall good grasp of things. That a coach who was just there and had an insiders view is saying these things is very damning to Fitz. Can't brush him off like whats been happening to myself and others on this board who've been saying same thing for a while.
  2. I agree and Im not sure who would. Maybe 9ers because their secondary looked pretty crappy in the Super Bowl? Dont know what their cap situation looks like. Also he'd only be about 3rd or 4th best on that team. not sure if hes ready to accept the reduced status ... lol
  3. With her testimony today, if she hadn't lied initially, I think she would have stood a decent chance of getting off completely if she'd initially testified she did it in self defense. Some of the texts Travis sent her leading up to that day make him sound fairly threatening ... "Do not call back," Alexander wrote in one message read aloud in court today. "I'm sick of you playing stupid and dealing with your childish issues. Bitter feelings are brewing in me for you, and if it keeps up I fear I will have a genuine dislike for you before I have a revenge." In one text message conversation, Alexander threatens Arias with "punishment." She explained on the stand that Alexander became obsessive about the identity of a stranger who told Arias that Alexander was cheating. A woman dining at the restaurant where Arias worked allegedly stopped her, identified herself as Marie, and told Arias about Alexander and another woman. Arias said she never learned the woman's identity. "After tomorrow it's going to be really bad for you. It's time to spit it out," read one text message from Alexander about the woman's identity. "I promise you the punishment will be better than the lie," read another. http://abcnews.go.com/US/jodi-arias-describes-violent-sex-killing-boyfriend/story?id=18538637&page=2
  4. If he's sentenced to community service in the NYC area, that may mean playing for jets. Which in that case he may request jail time instead.
  5. How many "winning" QBs are there? Would seem like 5 over ?? should be a sizable percentage.
  6. Were you in fact high while typing this?
  7. If I had to guess I'd say pertine will target Landry because we dont have a real banger in the secondary. However LB is our weakest unit so he may go after pace and/or Scott too, just that those guys are past their prime and aren't difference makers anymore.
  8. What about the 24% that never see time? Can't be that cut and dry
  9. Seriously even if they didn't have cap issues, I would expect them to part ways with this list of players. They haven't started cutting into the meat yet
  10. Why is that an off limits comment? Many political analysts (including inside israel) say the same thing about Israels political future if there's no 2-state solution and the settlements - something netanyahu is a champion of - continue.
  11. I agree with you there. He's created an environment where players are borderline encouraged to speak thru and to the media.
  12. That's not the point. I wouldn't want to be a teammate of a guy who acts like that. Its not what a leader and team player does. If its so obvious why say it anyway? He should be making everyone feel as if they're equally important out there , not like "hey I'm the best here, no matter how you or I play today. Its already determined I'm the man around here ."
  13. Unfortunately none of the gun lovers in this thread meet the definition of "reasonable" so your statement can't be tested
  14. China denies hacking against the US http://www.slashgear.com/china-denies-hacking-against-the-us-19269917/
  15. Can you list the free safeties that are better?
  16. Dont you find it more than a little arrogant when someone says bit about himself? Off top of my head can't think of any other player to have done that.
  17. Gotta love how he boldly identifies himself as "best player on the team"
  18. “I was speechless. I tweeted it out I was speechless,” Revis said about hearing the reports. “I was speechless because I didn’t get a phone call. I know it’s a business. Just call me — don’t have it lingering out there. I need answers and I’m not getting any. Just the fact that that was put out there instead of contacting your best player on the team. If that’s how you want to do business, then that’s fine.” http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/jets/corner_rips_jets_owner_for_trade_lrvA1fzSps25eNKdipixXL
  19. Sure I care, but 20 deaths in a single event are greater than 1, so that's why Sandy is the more often cited recent example. Your attempt to draw a racial angle is just downright silly. If you want to go that route, why didnt you call out Rob's (Gun House) when in earlier discussions he said you had to remove gang violence to "adjust" for the "real" level of gun murder in the US (or some crap like that). Something I objected to. Want to see a real hypocrit on race and gun violence? Look here: http://www.targetcbs...hp/1/mirror.jpg
  20. pay him no mind. Rob gets pretty worked up and on the defensive when guns are involved ... he loves them. But a kid in college being fooled by a catfish scammer, oh man then he cries for eternal damnation!
  21. Id post sandy hook but its too sad
  22. NRA wet dream: more guns = more dead people = more guns = more $$$$$$$$$ = ...... you get the picture
  23. Crazy as this sounds, with Barnett gone he may be the best OLB currently on the roster too. I'd be surprised but not shocked if they use him there again
  24. Its not out of the question he finds a role in pettines hybrid defense
