Important soon to be free agents
truth on hold replied to buffalobillsgrl's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So you're looking at other guys that have under performed to make his underperformance look good? Lol OK that's the kind of warped justification Fitz supporters are always tossing out. And those stats don't tell the tale at all. He's had more sacks than wilfork or ngata, you're out of mind if you think that means he's playing at or better than their level. -

The problem @3 overall you expect a guy to be ready to go, like von Miller drafted one slot ahead. Not looking for a project with question marks after 2 seasons. -

Hope you're right. I had my doubts when he was coming out and would have taken AJ Green or Patrick Peterson @ 3 instead. Thus far his play has been inconclusive. Would like nothing more than Dareus becoming dominant like a Wilfork or NGata in 2013 -

Going out on a limb and predicting only carrington. His play has been steadily improving and he's shown big play ability with blocking kicks. Under pettines system with more substitions he will see more playing time too. My reasoning the others won't get extended... Chandler ... Product of chans system and tall guy who will be more effected by knee reconstruction Dareus ... Will be a confirmed disappointment in his 3rd "make or break" season Moats .... Dime a dozen Wood ... Sadly another injury (desperately hope I'm wrong) -
WiFi Range Expanders: 2nd bad experience in a row. First time it would last for about 20 minutes tops before losing the signal. 2nd time I had the one router on the list of dozen that it couldn't be setup automatically with (even though it's simply the standard one this major cable company uses .... hhmmmm). Took over a week and a lot of hours to get right because I had to get a bunch of info from the router manufacturer and cable company. UN%@$*#@ REAL

My first round mock draft...

Almost no chance we take DE. Dline is our strongest unit on defense, we have gaping holes in the LB corp, and needs in secondary too. Why people keep saying DE rd 1 escapes me. -

shows you what Reid thinks of 2013 QB class too. Unless they trade the pick, be first time since 08 (Jake Long Miami) QB doesn't go #1 overall.

Update: "Guns don't kill people, people and dogs with guns kill people" -
I'd say something close to that is most probable outcome right now. They can give their 1st round + one of their 3rds to jets. Jets can run around advertising they got a 1st for him. But that 1st is 31st overall, a mere 3 spots ahead of the 34st they will get from chiefs. So trading with chiefs is what enabled this and allowed them to essentially keep their 1st. Amazing. Jets need it because rookie salary cap only room they have and maybe they get a pair of starters with 9ers 1st and 3rd. Banking on exceptional drafting is a necessity for jets.

Can't believe 9ers swiped a 2nd + conditional for him. Look for them to offer jets pick (s) for revis. Makes so much sense for both teams

Chris Kelsay Announces retirement
truth on hold replied to mrags's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We will win the super bowl now. If you listen to people on the board kelsay and his contract were the source of all our problems. Vegas odds of bills winning super bowl just went from 200-1 to 1-1. -
Let's see what happens at Notre dame pro day. It will be a safer environment, no more stupid questions about his sexuality, and also his shoulder may be healed. Bum shoulder could also effect run time. If he puts up better times and other stats, than those are the numbers he will be drafted on. If they're the same that's further confirmation the combine is an accurate reflection.

windows 8- anyone care to comment on it?

Yeah that's the point: they're not able to leverage off of their PC os because the PC has given way to the smart phone and tablet as the driver of end user decisions. If you want to project into the future look at growth rates. And they're not on msft's side. Google's android is devouring market share. I myself am looking for an alternative to windows and with apple not an option I'm very interested in google chrome books. Also because they're cloud-based computing, another thing I see myself embracing at some point. Msft had their chance years ago when PC dominance coulkd be leveraged, but IMHO that train had left the station. -

Other than trying to find out whats best for my needs and a casual interest in market trends, I have no axe to grind. but it sounds like your partial to MSFT. One thing you've sort of hit on thats a growing problem for MSFT (debate about 8 notwithstanding), is how more and more mobile is driving end user decisions (and how its being driven less and less by PC). that dilutes their influence. MSFT could play the game of copying DOS when they only had a plodder like IBM to deal with but with a hard chargers like Google and Apple so far in front on the mobile, its hard to see a scenario where MSFT can be a leader again. btw, doesnt sound like Gates is satisfied with their performance either (the few moments when hes not being evasive anyway) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0K6LNegCaDs -

Ouch! This really scares me off from installing 8 -
He's confirmed not starting material. Get rid of him. Until you know who your starer is there's no room to tie up a roster spot with a backup. Every single qb should have potential to start until you find a starter. That's whats Seattle did: tj, Flynn, Wilson ... all had chance to start. Open competition best man wins. This is most efficient way to find your coveted starter

heres a much more recent assessment, and no, things are not going well. New report shows Windows 8 sales remain sluggish; no significant growth in sight That latest sales figures for Windows 8 are far from encouraging: It has only a 2.26 percent market share as of the end of January, trailing not just Windows 7, Windows XP, and Windows Vista, but even Mac OS X 10.8. So reports NetApplications. This doesn't bode well for the ultimate success of the operating system. The latest NetApplications figures for January show Windows 7 with a 44.48 percent market share, Windows XP with 39.51 percent, Windows Vista with 5.24 percent, Mac OS X 10.8 with a 2.44% market share, and Windows 8 with 2.26 percent. Microsoft can't be pleased. As CNet notes, at a comparable time in Windows 7's release cycle, it had already garnered 7.71 percent market share, more than three times Windows 8's uptake. http://blogs.compute...nt-growth-sight -
Pretentious people who brag about their money and connections. I don't find them offensive just unbearably boring.

System I like the most on PC or mobile is android. I don't want to upgrade from 7 to 8 partly for that reason. Don't want to invest in learning a new PC OS that I know is trying to steer me to MS mobile that I know I won't adopt. I'm intrigued by the Google chrome books, and thats most likely my next toy when I purchase a PC or laptop sometime down the road. BTW I'm hearing both windows 8 and mobile are bombing in the market. -

Right because there's no connection between the guy whose fastest in the 40 to the guy whose fastest in 30, 20, 10 etc and the guy whose fastest out of the blocks and has quickest burst. Yeah, uh huh ...
