  1. Yes. But what's the salary cap implication? That's only negative I can think of since Hughes got 1st rd money and shepherd 3rd rd. My hunch is colts knew they were shedding the better player, but got some cap relief, which bills had to burn
  2. It really has become trite at this point. Perversely if there's anyone who was "brave" here in the sense of exposing himself to backlash and ridicule its Wallace for acknowledging he can't relate to not being attracted to beautiful women
  3. Well you did kind of make a good point there (by accident of course). What's the point of "winning" against you? Proves nothing.
  4. Probably cuz you never purchased a book. With comprehension skills that bad, why bother ?
  5. You make no sense (never did). But if you think its wrong than disprove it. That would be the scientific method.
  6. Do your own research goofball. That you keep saying that thinking you have some kind of "gotcha" question, merely displays your own gross ignorance.
  7. You better stay up in the great white north nursing that beer and wanking to gun posters. America isn't buying the foreign intervention bull **** anymore. NYTimes: In Poll, Public Opposes U.S. Action in Syria and North Korea http://nyti.ms/11yeAxy
  8. Have to look at it relative to competition. Just within the division jets are a mess and we should sweep, pats will have their act together from the get go and should sweep us (at least we get by any fantasy of perfect season with opening day loss), and Miami I see as similar to us with reasons to be optimistic but still in the process of putting it together. So I see a split with miami. This gets us to at least .500 in the division. Pre season will be especially important this year with all the changes and open competition at qb
  9. Lot of servicable players on that list. Thanks for posting , makes me feel better about this hole on the roster
  10. Nice work goofball, trying to change the subject after insinuating 70,000 died due to regime WMDs and getting slammed for it. And now onto your new angle: yo goofball we have and are involved there , along with French , turks, brits and Saudis. The reason it hasn't resolved and its an ongoing mess is not due to lack of involvement , its because of it. Please do everyone including yourself a favor and stay in Canada. Beers stronger up there and you're so dumbed down to begin with you need it as strong as possible for any chance to have an effect.
  11. Why dont you bother to "look it up" before tossing out uninformed crap like "give it up". for 2011 and 2012, of the top 5 picks each year, only one wasnt from a southern school. Thats 90%, well above the overall average. This year only one (Manuel) was from a southern school. nope. no pattern there from Nix-gailey era.
  12. Oh really? You speak for dead people now? Including the tens of thousands killed by rebel fire? Including nearly all of the 70,000 that died before the recent wmd allegations? Including the 6 civilians who just died as a result of rebel terrorist assassination car bomb attempt on a Syrian official? Geeez As if america doesn't have enough neocon nitwits. No' we have to import them from Canada too.
  13. Who cares about nassib. He had no claim on being drafted by bills. Its silly to commend Marrone for being loyal to bills. That's his job now. If he chose nassib out of loyalty when he thought there was a better guy he should be fired.
  14. Shepherd was a bust and waste of a pick from the start. A clear example of abuses of the former regimes heavy SEC bias and especially a player who was touched by "chans little hands of god " coached at the senior ball. He played too high and got no leverage. He always a step slow to the action, and he wasn't physical. He had no presence in the middle. Its a great sign the new regime isn't wasting any time keeping him around. This is the value of having former coach of a division opponent on your staff. Pettine must have given them the lowdown how they game planned against him. Only question is what were colts thinking? If they think this shores up their defense up the middle the are wrong.
  15. That's my concern too: he's using this as leverage to get another year or two in the league. Boxing NBA into corner by saying if he doesn't get signed somewhere its because he came out. Rather than being an aging journeyman whose not very good.
  16. I don't think another nfl team gives him a shot. Upside doesn't justify media circus. Jets really screwed him over, brought him in for media to sell tickets and never gave him a legit role or chance to start. Feel bad for the guy. Jets are a bad franchise the way they treat people.
  17. April 25, 2013 04:45 PM ET Computerworld - NASA has launched three smartphones into space in what scientists hope will be the lowest-cost satellites ever tested. Because the phones already have so many necessary components, NASA engineers kept the total cost of the parts for the three prototype satellites to between $3,500 and $7,000. http://www.computerworld.com/s/article/9238700/NASA_launches_new_nanosatellites_Android_smartphones
  18. Wow that's quite a trio. I'd break my vow of no more concerts for that.
  19. From the makers of "Iraq: the bogus WMD story" comes "Syria: the bogus WMD story the sequel" Be afraid, be very afraid. These people will steal your children and send them off to die on foreign lands, and confiscate your tax dollars and redistribute to their defense company campaign donors.
  20. Kiper served a purpose years ago because there was no on be else like him and he was a good catalyst to get discussions started. Now there are a lot more informed sources and he's really an annoyance. His superficiality is closer to skip bay less than any kind of real player/position analysis.
  21. I really wonder about the kolb signing now that we know more about the offense they want to run and kniwing they stood a good chance getting there guy ej. Seems clear now they want an uptempo offense built on team speed at all the talent positions. Ej fits the bill, and tj does a lot better than kolb, the latter being of only average mobility and the main criticism for holding onto the ball too ball. Kolbs arm while not weak, is weakest of the 3. I wonder if kolb was still available today they make the same play for him.
  22. He lost a lot of credibility - especially analysing that position - when he chatted up klausen a few years ago. When he fell to rd2 Mel was speechless. Now that he rides the pine behind newton Mel is like "jimmy who?" At least mcshay for all his faults, correctly called the ascension of tannehill up the board last year.
  23. Latest rumblings in NY they may keep him. He showed up to camp 15 lbs lighter and had obviously been working on his footwork and throwing mechanics. He's impressed coaches with his tenacity. The latest read on things has Sanchez cut jun1 when its more cap friendly, and tebow staying
  24. That's true. But on pure size/athleticism/arm strength combined there were still guys better than (or at least comparable to) Geno. I think geno separated himself with nfl-ready in some peoples minds. Think we'll have to disagree here. From seeing a lot of NY media they want Sanchez long term replacement on day 1. theres no sense at all Garrard has a shot at starter. Hes a designated day 1 backup. hes 35 and out of football for a year, Kolb 28 and started last year until injury. Manuel may be favored by Bills, but I still think Kolb gets a legit shot at starting.
  25. I see your point, but I also discard Landry Jones taken ahead of him. Landry is clearly drafted as a project who will sit behind Ben for years to develop. Probably more than anyone barkley is expected to be able and run a pro style offense on day 1. Jets need the latter.
