I didn't think it was. But thanks for confirming you didn't get the point of my post when you said I didn't get the point of yours.

I cheer america focusing on america and not on foreign wars and special interests. Has nothing to do with assad. Is that something you'll ever be able to comprehend? Its up to other countries to figure out their own s#@t. Vietnam reconciled after we left, have been completely at peace for decades. Low and behold they also have complete normalized diplomatic relations with us. Every reason to expect korea would do the same. And if you had any clue about Asia youd know China only supports n Korea because we support south. If middle east Muslim countries want to keep fighting the millennium old sunni Shiite rift that's their business. To think us can go in and nation build and figure it our for them is gravely mistaken. Iraq is an example of that.

If your point wasnt to cite a factor why shanahan and harbaugh's compensation isn't an apples to apples comparison - in this case shanahan's broader responsibility - what was it?

Your sentence from the edited post: "You can create all the schemes you want but you will still need someone willing to fork over real currency in exchange for a fake one" I demonstrated there's a possibility it may be the case. That your blanket argument that bitcoin will never be convertible to "real currency" (however you're defining it now) may not be valid Most currency is a confidence game anyway; if people think it has value then it does have value because they will accept it in exchange for goods, services, other currencies, etc. If they think it doesn't have value then it doesn't because they wont accept it. The exception would be where it's backed by gold (or some other precious metal) which the issuing country agreed to exchange it for. But even that's not some panacea, because now those "rocks" that you converted your cash into may be of lesser value than the purchasing power the cash had or has.

yeah because when US gets involved the outcomes are just rosy .... like today's news from Iraq Officials in Iraq say at least 60 people have been killed in sectarian attacks on the deadliest day there for months. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2013-05-18/iraq-bombings-kill-at-least-50/4697894

They were also hired in different years, rendering the comparison even less relevant.

Well if you're now defining currency as bank accounts certainly not at the same time. That's called a "run on banks". But the real question is how much does it matter when using something like Bitcoin? And you sure as heck did equate paper and currency previously, as if that were the ultimate criteria

Vince Young gets his degree in education
truth on hold replied to Fezmid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Too bad he didnt have it last year. Could have "educated" Nix and Gailey what a good QB looks like. He was the best on the roster in pre-season -
What if I use some kind of bonus points earned to make a purchase? For example amex gives points for use and allows card holders to redeem the points to purchase any number of products, or as a direct credit against the bill, the latter meaning bonus points are a viable currency where ever amex is accepted.

Actually the goal of any good scientist/engineer is to eliminate redundancy. But since the criteria of "good" eliminates you, I can see how you got so hung up on this. -

How much for the accompanying bottomless one? -
It almost seems kind of personal still with Jackson and Kobe. Its unfair to say Kobe wasn't initially a leader when one considers how young he was when he started in NBA, and the other strong personalities on the Lakers. Jackson touches on the former but pays no mind to the latter. Also I give kobe credit for stepping up his leadership role after Shaq left.

Here we go again, feds going nuts now using power of the state to aggressively shut down anything that threatens their control and wallets of special interest donors. "The US Department of Homeland Security seized a payment processing account Tuesday belonging to Mt. Gox, the largest international Bitcoin trader, claiming the monetary exchange service falsified financial documents." http://rt.com/usa/bitcoin-exchange-seized-crackdown-begins-334/

Is Obama the AntiPresident?
truth on hold replied to OCinBuffalo's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
He's the anti-president in the sense a lot of his support comes from people that are not a fan of him in isolation, but are horrified at the candidates the republicans have offered up lately and view him as a hedge against them. Even in office, theres been very few major Obama initiatives, his value again is seen as a buffer against radical right wing agendas. -
I think jets offer up Sanchez as the sacrifial lamb for first few games. When he stinks it up they'll act like they're giving fans what they went and put Geno in.

could be faking it to get the heck out of there LOL

Yes I get the media point, everybody does, but it doesn't mean the media consensus is wrong either. The irony of course is that the only "evidence" you provide in support of marrone is a quote from a media personality. Consensus was the kelly was hottest prospect, and everything thats observable supported that: how many teams pursued him, how many offers he had, how much he got paid, how much his college team did to try and keep him (which BTW at marrones comp level syracuse could have been competitive). Just lose the chip on your shoulder already. Because kelly was more sought after doesn't mean he'll be better as an nfl coach than marrone, no one is saying that.
