  1. You keep singling your own self out with your harsh treatment of these guys. Look at your latest post for example: taking a swipe at both Russell and tebow, the latter in a thread that's not even about him. The teo scandal thread wasn't even about him as a player so there was no "over valuing", and you went after him hard. Tebow and Russell all I'm saying is they deserve a shot, not that theyre shoo-ins by any means.
  2. Ever have anything good to say about one of these guys whose career hit a rough patch and is trying to turn things around?
  3. Thats why I didn't even bother and just conceded this. For sure just get one of these "guilty just because ... " replies. And it didn't change my point about them not messing with us outside of their combat areas. Unlike all Qaeda who unfortunately seem like a global terror network without borders. But really its neither here nor there; the situation is spiraling out of control and consequences escalating, I think everyone agrees with that. With the regional and even global implications its time for coordinated, responsible steps to end it.
  4. Slimmed-down JaMarcus Russell attracts NFL interest NFL.com May 28, 2013 Russell's now at a lean 265, his exact weight when he tore up the 2007 NFL Scouting Combine and captured Al Davis' affection. Now that Russell has shed the frame of a left tackle, will NFL teams take him seriously as a roster candidate? Apparently, the answer is yes. According to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, there is now "significant" interest from more than one team, according to a source. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000207494/article/slimmeddown-jamarcus-russell-attracts-nfl-interest
  5. Like in a war zone in a completely destabilized country that really matters I get what you are saying. And I'm pointing out how you're wrong thinking we're indifferent to who wins when one only one of them has carried out spectacular attacks on US soil.
  6. I'm fully aware of what Reagan referred to as "one of his worst blunders" putting marines in Lebanon, having posted that quote earlier. But that's a war zone we never should have been. Who flew planes into WTC and Pentagon? Al Qaeda or Hezbollah?
  7. On US soil outside of a war zone we shouldn't have been in the first place ? When?
  8. Even though Hezbollah has never attacked us and al Qaeda has killed thousands of Americans. Goes without saying but what dumbass
  9. Now Israel is threatening Russia http://news.yahoo.com/israel-warns-russia-against-giving-syria-missiles-132538404.html Israel and Russia in conflict, draws US in ... Nice work Obama and Hillary!
  10. You can't absolve modern day Christianity from the current situation when you have Christian Zionists like a lyndsey graham supporting illegal israeli west bank settlers because he can't wait to get all the jews back in the middle east so the Messiah can return and give them an ultimatum to convert or go to hell. And he's using the power of the state on top of that.
  11. The one she was actually fapping to was the porn she selected with the keywords. Still Im a bit puzzled by displaying the Holocaust video earlier.
  12. nice work EU, deepening the crisis further and aiding Islamic extremists .... EU ends arms embargo against Syrian rebels http://edition.cnn.com/2013/05/27/world/meast/syria-civil-war/index.html?hpt=hp_t1
  13. Hezbollah leader announcing they're involved in backing Assad in Syria. Makes a good point that if Assad falls and the radical rebels win, they will advance on Lebanon next, which will draw Israel back into Lebanon. Nice work Obama and Hillary, supporting the rebels and pushing the region closer to this doomsday scenario.
  14. You can keep saying that without offering any real analysis, in striking contrast to the fact that immediately after WW2 the US and Soviets began carving up the world with alliances and annexation, prompting the Truman Doctrine of communist containment in March 47'.
  15. So to counter the threat of soviet communist expansion in europe it would have made more sense to support a leader whose fascist ideology was incompatible with ours, against our traditional Allies like UK and alienate them in the drive to counter communism, after Germany was on the wrong side of key turning points, and commit ourselves to engage in most of the front line fighting?
  16. When it comes to guns n' killin' fer' fun, yeah. I take it you havent visited PPP? he's not alone
  17. Those teams were all about the players not the coaches. The K-gun offense was improvised on the field, and "read and react" defense featured a lot of improvisation on the field too. The GM Polian who sourced the players had a lot more to do with the success than the coaches.
  18. Quite the opposite: to be "cool" it seems one has to proclaim a star wars allegiance.
  19. Uh yeah, we know he's not currently on an NFL roster. The point of the article and this discussion is whether he should be. If you're just here to "inform" people of stuff they already know, why bother ?
  20. What movie is that? Looks like the actor who played zuckerberg in the Facebook movie, which I liked.
  21. I can play that "my experts bigger than your expert" game too. Heres one just a few weeks ago from Mike Ditka in support of Tebow.... “I think [Tebow] can play quarterback in the NFL, but whatever offense you run might have to be tweaked a bit. This kid is a talent and he proved it in college. He is an outstanding leader. Now, does he have an unusual throwing motion? Yes. But there a lot of quarterbacks that didn’t have a perfect throwing motion. Some of them turned out to be great quarterbacks because they were great leaders." http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/mike-ditka-believes-tim-tebow-nfl-quarterback-easy-141553187.html But the bottom line at the end of the day isn't about "opinions". Its about winning, something Tebow has done at every level.
  22. All it takes is for someone to sign him (which could happen anytime) to change that. That argument is further weakened by examples of guys who were out of the league and came back to have success like Kurt Warner, or guys who shouldnt be in the league (certainly not as starters anyway) but have a job because a coach/GM believes in them (like Fitzpatrick last 2 years in Buffalo).
