All senior managers get to keep their high paying jobs, and the individual benefactors of the evasion are still unknown. wtf! Methinks some very high powered individuals in business and government cut a deal to let the bank execs stay on provided they didn't release the names on secret accounts. "On Monday, Credit Suisse became the first major bank in 25 years to plead guilty to a felony in U.S. court. Unfortunately, they don’t yet make handcuffs that fit around a downtown New York City office building, and the executives who committed the felony, conspiring to assist in widespread tax evasion, either haven’t been charged or haven’t been extradited from Switzerland. And in addition, the other side of the tax evasion equation – the actual wealthy Americans who hid their money in private Credit Suisse accounts – aren’t that much closer to being exposed." http://www.salon.com/2014/05/21/financial_criminals_cushy_life_how_credit_suisse_gamed_the_system/

Such a +$@ Need to find a way to punish him where it hurts most: pocketbook. How about bills fans refuse to tune into any nationally televised game with Dallas (unless its against bills)? I'm so sick of all the prime time and holidays slots they get anyway (and all the non-drama around romo), I've pretty much been doing this anyway.

A good experience is the exception. Whatever income you expect haircut if by about 15%-20% to account for the normal wear & tear, repairs for damages they caused (but not worth your effort to dispute), outside manager, and legal costs for having them removed when they default on rent.

Saying goodbye to an old friend tomorrow

Youre doing the right thing. Wish I'd made the decision sooner with my pet of 16 years. His last few months were in chronic pain and with frequent treatments at the vet's, and in retrospect it wasn't fair to him. -
Godzilla is worth seeing. Darker and much better than I expected. Won't leave any lasting impressions like true sci-fi classics (Alien, Terminator or more recently Prometheus), but then again it's not trying. There's just enough scientific explanations thrown in to keep the story moving, and setup several delicious scenes of monster-on-monster action, and man's attempt to stop them.

More tapes describing his sexual attraction to her, this time with his ex-pimp. Is everyone taping this guy's conversations? Nice mug shot of the woman too ... shoplifting lol http://blogs.houston...scribes_sex.php -
Potential veteran QBs available next year

Thinking though if Houston found someone to take Schaub's 8-figure contract and give them a draft pick, a lot of the contracted guys in the OP have the same potential -

Just curious, what were the odds prior to last season you would have placed on Schaub being out in Houston, and ending up on Raiders the next season? -

Gabbert was effectively done as a starter in Jacksonville by the end of his 2nd season, and the vet chad henne was brought in. It can happen. -
If EJ doesn't work out this year, the window on "win now" will be closing even faster before our impressive offensive talent drains. Drafting a rookie QB with the required learning curve may not be the answer, especially since we have no 1st round pick. On the other hand, after dumping Stevie's contract and eating the dead money this season, Bills will be in great cap shape next year to sign a high priced FA QB or assume an existing large contract via trade. So what top shelf vet QB's could possibly be available? MY TOP 10 1. Tom Brady: don't laugh, he'll be 38. If his skills start diminishing (and there's clues that's already happening) and Garoppolo looks ready, I could see the cold and calculating Pats look to unload him. Just like they did with Bledsoe, on us too. 2. Eli Manning: played horrible last year, and raised a lot of questions about his skills. They spent a lot in the off season and draft replenishing the line and WR-corp, another terrible year and this time with no excuses, and in all likelihood he's gone. 3. Sam Bradford: how long can Rams possibly say "he's their guy" when "he's not having success" on the field? "Fresh start somewhere else" pundits will be saying what's needed. 4. Andy Dalton: miss the playoffs or another one-and-done, and he's done. AJ McCarron was drafted for this scenario. 5. Alex Smith: contract extension talks not going well in KC. He has the stigma of not being able to get you to the promised land, however you can at least win some playoff games. That may be enough to satisfy the playoff hungry Bills. Somehow this team and Smith seem destined for each other. 6. Matt Stafford: Schwartz is no longer there to protect him if Lions come up short again. He's right here in Buffalo ready for a reunion. 7. Tony Romo: pressure will be high in Big "D" if they miss playoffs again. I could see them looking to clean house, starting with Romo and his huge salary. 8, 9 & 10: Carson Palmer, Michael Vick and Matt Schaub all seem to be on the 1- to 2-year plan with their teams. Odds are at least one if not all three will be on the market again.

Report: Bills attempted to trade up for Carlos Hyde
truth on hold replied to johnwalter's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The issue w/ CJ is that he's not quite bad enough @ RB to commit him to a situational all-purpose role @RB, WR and KR. But OTOH he's not quite good enough to be a #1 RB. So he's just kind of stuck in this no-man's land. -

In fairness when he came out his draft prospects were moderately high .... 4th - 5th round. So I don't think he did just to secure a draft spot. He said he wanted to control the story and not have to deal with runors, and i believe that. It was afterwards that his terrible combine made him slip into coin flip territory whether he'd get drafted at all. -
I wonder if he had played strong safety all along if he would have made it?
