  1. Desertion doesn't mean anything. There was an American being held hostage and we needed to try and get him released
  2. And nice work too the shooter @ jewish museum in Brussels was french nationalist who fought against Syrian regime. West has been supporting these thugs and now theyre paying the price @ home. unreal Attack on Jewish museum highlights threat of Syria militants Read more: http://www.thenation...s#ixzz33RmFFejB Follow us: @TheNationalUAE on Twitter | thenational.ae on Facebook
  3. I think the biggest factor outside the game was 1 week preparation time. Bills being first time spent too much time partying, talking to the media, and coordinating getting friends, family to the game etc. etc., whereas parcells had been there a few years earlier and knew what to expect. If there had been the normal 2-week prep time Im highly confident Bills would have won. Simply had the better team
  4. what was the story behind the father's taliban-style beard and speaking Arabic?
  5. Can't fault Smitty for getting s safety-sack Ironically if kick was ruled good, margin of victory is 2 points the safety is the difference. Goat is then jumbo elliot who both tripped hostetler and got blown away by Smitty.
  6. I actually liked the sequel "2010" more. I'd give it an honorable mention. Also "Predator" deserves honorable mention
  7. Jane Fonda off the charts smoking hot in that one
  8. Love the entrance where they used the mountain in foreground to convey his enormity...and that sound, classic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLqSmJ9jsH8
  9. Smoking hot chick in that one. On my list, Sean young in blade runner was no slouch either
  10. @Dante, I debated The Thing remake in my mind, but concluded it was a bit more entertainment than something provocative with longer term lasting impression ... for me anyway. Also considered The Fly remake. Good to see you're a Cloverfield fan, figured most wouldn't appreciate that one
  11. No doubt, but its notable how it reveals just how mediocre so many other teams are at the positions. To think Steelers are justifiably nowhere to be found. Author also makes a huge leap assuming bowman will ever be the same. Last year a case could have been made for cardinals last year too, but now both their all-pro MLBs are gone. Cleveland is another team to watch with fa addition of dansby and mingos 2nd year.
  12. Here's mine: 1.Alien - brilliant from start to finish. Detailed sets, conveyed the isolation of deep space, creepy emotionless creature (modeled after the tarantula wasp). 2. The Terminator Arnold finally finds the perfect role. 3. Prometheus - not nearly as perfect as its sister movie alien, as it descended to modern Hollywood patterns. But it still was provocative and the opening scene was nothing less than stunning. 4. Cloverfield Low budget but still provided the ugliest, nastiest creature in history. And since it was an indie had the freedom to have an unhappy ending where the main characters are all offed. 5. Godzilla (original) Charming and philosophical, a must see from a less visually sophisticated but more thoughtful era. 6. Blade runner Stark and scary interpretation of the classic man vs machine theme as vehicle to pose questions about identity, creation and creators, and mortality.
  13. I'm personally sick of seeing so many good players taken out for something that is so pervasive in society, and no worse than (actually many studies conclude not as bad as) alcohol use.
  14. Don't forget that dud Kelvin Sheppard at MLB. He'd still be there with Chan, and Fitz would still be QB.
  15. never said a single thing about the law, that's where you loon-balls imagine things because you're one trick ponies. As far as shareholders? How about a broader, more competitive talent pool to draw from, and create positive impressions in communities across America. And obviously based on their disclosure Google is thinking about ways to address ... you have a problem with that, contact them
  16. Chicken and egg. Are less going into programming because they feel they won't get a fair shot in the hiring process? Or if its at the school level than how about Google use some of its billions to sponsor developer scholarship programs?
  17. yes that's the ideal, and when the #'s are this skewed it raises the question if that's really going on
  18. no way man, because later on that evening .... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HxwInPcuhbg
