  1. Its because of the ongong rift between shia and sunni, and the messed up way British carved up Iraq. So was Saddam so bad or was he a reflection of the elements he had to deal with? I dunno but we sure loved him when he invaded Iran. And seems like every time we install someone else it does get worse .... For us and them.
  2. Ive searched your posts, and they all come back with "%@$@bag", "idiot", "liberal panzy", "Obama's a Muslim", etc ... so much for your "information" and analysis
  3. Could be but just because the OP was from a Russian-backed news service vs US doesn't make it an inferior source, that was my point in posting the CNN article.
  4. It's too bad if his career fizzles over a contracr dispute. He's a throwback player thats fun to watch, and an entertaining character.
  5. so much for the "Russia Times .... stoner moron" source Declassified report: Two nuclear bombs nearly detonated in North Carolina By Emma Lacey-Bordeaux, CNN Declassified documents that the National Security Archive released this week offered new details about the incident. The blaring headline read: "Multi-Megaton Bomb Was Virtually 'Armed' When It Crashed to Earth." Or, as Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara put it in back then, "By the slightest margin of chance, literally the failure of two wires to cross, a nuclear explosion was averted." http://edition.cnn.c....html?hpt=hp_c5
  6. State your case. Because all you and your cabal do is b$@t# about Obama
  7. You goons. We never should have gone into Iraq in the first place. Why don't address that? We couldn't stay because we can't afford. Maybe you if morons earned enough to pay taxes you'd realize how bloated our budget is .... And no its not all "welfare" when this country's defense budget is larger than the next 10 countries....combined. The simple and obvious story is a) we should not have gone in, b) could not stay, and c) should have not supported the so-called "rebels" in Syria. Bush and Obama administration's both share culpability, stop with the one -sided partisan nonsense.
  8. yet another reason to put the new stadium in downtown NF, NY
  9. You prefer Fox, NY Times, etc .. and their phony "Saddam WMD Smoking Gun" type stories?
  10. A recently declassified report sheds light on a 1961 near-nuclear-catastrophe in North Carolina. According to the documents, a B-52 bomber flying over the Tar Heel state broke up in mid-air, causing two hydrogen bombs to plummet to the Earth. Multiple safety devices on one of the bombs failed, with a detonation being prevented by "one simple, dynamo-technology, low voltage switch."
  11. the problem wasn't withdrawing, the problem was turning around and supporting the same group in Syria that we had just fought against in Iraq. Assad was right: we really have the same enemy. But we get whipsawed around by our alleged allies like France, Israel and Saudis into fighting their wars, which may or may not (usually not) be in our interest. That more than anything is what accounts for our inconsistent, dangerous, and costly foreign policy
  12. The key distinction is that cars have an important utility which is transportation. Guns have none other than killing. Its a false comparison, which again was covered a year ago on this board. But the gun-goobers here are like zombies: brain dead, persistent, and voluminous.
  13. Then what accounts for the $50 billion in foreign aid we dish out every year ?
  14. The evidence is clear, guns cause far more deaths in homes due to accidents and fits of rage, than they do killing bad guys. This was all covered in a thread last summer in detail. The gun-goobers just keep trying to regurgitate the same old arguments that have been defeated long ago.
  15. Well Known but Under-Appreciated: Bram Stoker's Dracula (Francis Ford Coppola) Little Known and Under-Appreciated: Lesson of Evil (Takishi Miike)
  16. wow another Sheldon Adelson lacky bites the dust. Repubes should stop taking that turd's blood money, it's becoming the kiss of death. Gave Newt the most in the primaries, and another $10 million to Romney against Obama. Sheldon Adelson gives $5M to Eric Cantor-backed super PAC Read more: http://www.politico....l#ixzz34Inbdp3b
  17. Hey dont give them any ideas, they may start referring to FedEx field as "The Reservation"
  18. Could be but I think he gets lost in the Flutie-Johnson battle. But OTOH I happened to be watching the game when Bledsoe got injured against Jets. When Brady came in I knew right away he was better ... processed information quicker, quick release, stood tall saw entire field, precise accurate passer ... and just visually looked like the leader Bledsoe never quite was. So maybe Bills coaches see same thing, and benching those other guys on our roster would have been easier than Bledsoe who was considered an elite QB at the time. But OTOH were Pats better at grooming QBs than we were? Would Brady have developed the same under Bills coaches?
  19. nice work Bush, Obama & Co .... large portions of Iraq are falling to hands of terrorists, those same terrorists we supported in Syria. Sadly won't be long now before we have to go back in. Al-Qaeda Seizes Northern Iraqi Oil Capital of Mosul Indeed, while the borders aren’t readily defined at this point because of constant fighting, AQI territory is arguably already a state of its own, straddling Iraq and Syria and comprising significant chunks of each. http://news.antiwar....pital-of-mosul/ Northern Iraq Under Siege: 123 Killed, 261 Wounded http://original.anti...ed-261-wounded/
  20. not if you're the NRA, because we all know the answer to gun violence is more guns!!!!!
  21. Yeah because we all know that armed guards never kill anyone ....reports like this are liberal media lies!!! Marine guard shoots, kills another guard at North Carolina’s Camp Lejeune Read more: http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/marine-guard-shoots-colleague-camp-lejeune-article-1.1750109#ixzz34HZtsFfR
  22. And the hits just keep on coming .... "Armor-clad gunman kills high school student during gym class" A teen gunman opened fire with a military-style rifle inside a suburban Oregon high school Tuesday morning, killing a student and wounding a teacher, officials said. http://nypost.com/2014/06/10/active-shooter-reported-at-high-school-in-oregon/
  23. I thought Levi brown made good progress and looked very dynamic, mobile, good arm, ran uptempo offense. But alas he was an unheralded, late round pick and wasn't "Chan's guy", Fitz was and Chan wanted a " proven experienced backup" like thigpen instead.
