so now the Syrian air force is doing what the US has been considering, bombing ISIS (the rebels we supported in Syria) in western Iraq to assist the Iraqi forces. It was even assumed to initially be US drones..... Syrian aircraft bomb Sunni militant targets inside Iraq Syrian government aircraft bombed Sunni militant targets inside Iraq on Tuesday, further broadening the Middle Eastern crisis a day after Israeli warplanes and rockets struck targets inside Syria. Iraqi state media initially reported that the attacks near Iraq’s western border with Syria were carried out by U.S. drones, a claim that was quickly and forcefully denied by the Pentagon. http://www.washingto...35f1_story.html -
I really hope this isn't outselling Bills jerseys............ ".... supporters can show their loyalty to the group by sporting a T-shirt or hoodie emblazoned with the group's black and white jihadist logo, after the items went on sale on Facebook. The T-shirts, which are being sold on Indonesia-based websites, cost as little as $7 to $13, and have been on sale for several months." http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/isis-hoodies-t-shirts-sale-online-islamist-brand-goes-global-1453715

Two top U.S. business lobbies are preparing to publicly break with President Barack Obama over the prospects of more sanctions against Russia after months of quietly raising their objections with the White House. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and National Association of Manufacturers plan to run newspaper advertisements June 26 in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Washington Post, warning that more Russia sanctions risk harming U.S. workers and businesses, said a person familiar with the plans, who asked not to be identified to discuss private deliberations. http://mobile.businessweek.com/news/2014-06-24/business-at-odds-with-obama-over-russia-sanctions-threat

lol you sound like Hillary now, that was her rehearsed campaign retort: "All you did was give a speech opposing it, at least I was in the Senate voting for it."
-
Of course it was a fail on both parties. Joe LIEberman, a democrat at the time, sponsored the bill authorizing it. System of checks and balances broke down. However on an individual basis, Obama clearly was on record opposing it. Its not a party thing, because both of them are FOS. Have to look at the individual. Right now within republican for example, of likely candidates rand paul opposes intervention, and rubio can't get enough.

oh boy, Fred Jackson in trouble now ... wonder how long Goodell will suspend him for this -
Unless there's someone he feels a lot stronger about, I'm not seeing it. Don't forget bill did him a huge favor at the last convention delivering a strong speech when Obama needed a boost

Hillary's campaign appears better organized this time (unofficial as it may be). By taking a stand on gun control she made herself appear more substantive and more of a leader, which one would expect given her background. That was missing 7 years ago when she changed her tune based on where her latest stop was. In debates she said nothing other than "we all hate George bush", thinking she was the front runner and the party would reunite behind that theme, while again avoiding taking any real position. You right wingers had better watch out. She will be a much more formidable candidate this time and will easily beat a lunatic war monger like mccainiac, or stuffed shirt like romney. Better put a true conservative up there like rand Paul. Otherwise writing is on the wall for a 3rd term for President Clinton.

Good article, except not so sure about " ” as "best song they’d ever written." Other than the line about having a woman wants to "ball all day", it's a fairly pedestrian track. -
Bills' Final Sale Price contest
truth on hold replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Makes sense, here's how I see it: Bills value has 2 components: 1. Stay in Buffalo 2. Option to Move Stay in Buffalo I'm putting approx. $1.1B, option to move approx. $400-500 million, which is around your $1.5B. I get to $1.75B by adding the "trophy asset", "scarcity" premium. -
Bills' Final Sale Price contest

The Clipper "experts" were saying $1-$1.2 billion .... the highest bidder (typically an outlier) will determine it -
Yes I'm breaking down by Muslim sect since those, you know, are the groups fighting each other.

Largest group in Lebanon is Christian, so it's not directly comparable. And they still have their share of violence and instability. Apart from the normal Obama-bashing, when you have ISIS being welcomed in the streets like this, is an inclusive government and (especially) military even possible?
-
Is this feasible or did Obama lay out an impossible condition? "President Barack Obama said Friday the Iraqi government and military must include Sunni and Kurdish citizens if the U.S. is to provide support to the embattled regime." Bills' Final Sale Price contest

IMO the bid will reflect Bills moving to a new location, either Niagara Falls or an entirely different area, that's why I'm going with $1.75B.
