  1. yeah because it's one of the very most demanding positions out there. your analysis of weighting them equally means that the QB position @ "only 1/11 = 9%" of offensive players, is of no greater value than any other offensive position like fullback, TE or left guard
  2. Just looking at his stats again, he should have been rookie of year. Played the demanding mic position, played every down, 3rd in tackles in the league, 2 sacks, 4 INTs, defense made a huge jump up in ranks.
  3. Kiko has been working out all off season rehabbing his hip .... that's what Whaley said. Your making assumptions that run counter to available information
  4. Maliki govt forced our hands. Kerry went over with a message if they wanted our assistance they needed an inclusive government with proportional sunni and Kurd representation. Maliki said FU and went and bought a bunch of fighter jets from Russia. US stepped up involvement after not so much on Iraq's behalf, but to not concede it all to Russia. They're all a bunch of leaches trying to cash on 9/11. Charlie Daniels another one. 9/11: Last Fallen Hero:
  5. mock them all you want, but unlike US they are supporting the same side in each area
  6. Plenty of athletes get injured while "in shape", and plenty of athletes get injured working out. Note again, the report is that Kiko tore his ACL working out.
  7. I think we can stomach one or two injuries. My concern is that this will lead to our typical injury riddled season. One of the unappreciated reasons for our better defense last was the relative lack of injuries.
  8. It said working out. I wonder exactly what kind. I've said it repeatedly on this board most athletes over train, and a number of the exercises do more harm than good.
  9. F%#& I knew it. I didn't want to say anything to jinx it, but I had figured with the talent we assembled the only thing keeping us from having a successful season would be injuries.
  10. You mean songs like this in the runup to Iraq war don't inspire you ? Never mind he references bin laden, its the thought that counts Darryl Worley - Have You Forgotten?:
  11. Why? They stole the theme and opening riff from Spirit's "Taurus", a band they opened for on their American tour.
  12. If a guy had a career cut really short by injury its hard to say he was under rated.
  13. Gilmore hasn't lived up to expectations, and being realistic looks like he never will. But to trace the roots of the miss on gilmore you have to go back a year when we selected best fat guy available (dareus), ahead of BPA Patrick Peterson. Well Peterson is a true shut down corner and difference maker. Then in 2012 we could have taken dontari poe instead of Gilmore. Poe is better than dareus, and Poe + Peterson blows the doors off dareus + gilmore.
  14. For me its "stairway to heaven". Song has no real purpose, just drags on. I've learned to respect the guitar solo but the rest is an instant downer. Never understood why its treated with such reverance.
  15. Some times the left, some time right, some times I can't decide.
  16. Chandler. No one thinks of him as a pro bowler , but at same time people appreciate he can be a valuable option game in, game out, a solid 600 yards, 6 TD's kind of guy, that if the other team forgets about can hurt you.
  17. Add anything from Billy Joel to the list (covering my ears as "Piano Man" blares thru speakers)
  18. lol what an arsehole McCain .... Remember when Senator John McCain went to Syria and met with factions of rebels fighting the Assad regime? As it turns out, the group that he was meeting with was a particular subset of rebels in Syria, who we now know as ISIS. http://countercurrentnews.com/2014/06/isis-post-pr-photos-they-took-with-john-mccain/
  19. Mark Pike, 7th round pick who was a special teams ace for a dozen years
  20. Arnold Schwarzenegger Grace Jones Scenes of Grace Jones as Zula in Conan the Destro…:
  21. Stupid turks, they'll lose part of their terriroty now for supporting anti-govt forces in syria. Other than US they have the most counter productive Mideast policy. Israeli leader calls for independent Kurdistan http://www.bostonglobe.com/2014/06/29/israeli-leader-calls-for-independent-kurdistan/bNcYNa4xWtQM1kOoTkl6eL/story.html
  22. And you "think" we could afford another 10-20 years?
