  1. His QBR is 75.3, comparable to EJs 77.7. But unlike EJ (and this franchise in over a decade) he has a winning record and has been to playoffs. Remember the context is bringing him in as a backup to win some games ... he's proven he can ... not to replace EJ. Because our existing backups look apocolyptically bad
  2. Could be the case but its not based on merit. Tebows QBR is also higher than sanchez
  3. Then he stunk it up for the next 2 seasons when he was actually asked to do something to help them win. That tebow is an analyst and Sanchez is a backup now means nothing as it can change at any moment.
  4. Sanchez sucks, we saw enough of him to know there's no upside there. All tebow did in his limited starts was win, including playoffs. He deserves another look
  5. Who are they on either side? Rand Paul was a real conservative now his message is starting to get diluted too as he wooes big money support. With him going down its just same old, same old from all of them. I couldnt tell you the difference between bachman, santorum, Perry, etc ... except that they all suck. Just spouting the same big money, special interest crap that's clearly not resonating with american voters.
  6. All those guys are starters or brought into become one. Tebow is a backup so its a different calculation of cost / benefit. And only TO brouhht anywhere near the circus tebow would, and his career was cut short due to it
  7. Tebow made a clutch throw in OT against steelers won them the game
  8. Maybe after we cut branch we can just have dareus wear his jersey for the games he's suspended. With the helmets on its not like the league would notice
  9. Good point. Ponder could be a good pickup if cut Mallet isn't available and I don't want to trade with pats. Why does his name keep coming up?
  10. Better than what we have: Tebow ... winning record, beat steelers in playoffs Vince young ... officially retired but think he'd come out for the right offer Levi brown ... looked good in last game before being run out of town for Chan's Tyler thigpen obsession
  11. He's proven he can win games. I'd take him in a heartbeat over our backups. Shame the media hype prevents a team from taking a chance on him
  12. Former CIA Director: "Mrs Clinton has blood on her hands everywhere" http://youtu.be/afQaIEQOr_I
  13. it's weird how much he's regressed. I liked him last year, thought he arguably outplayed EJ. Menthinks now he was playing over his head
  14. Release everyone of all liability? No thats not possible. Legally I can't sign a waiver allowing you to murder me ... even euthanasia isn't legal, which is why Kevorkian ended up in jail.
  15. youre missing the point. the objection to the Big 10 @ city hall is not an indictment of religion. the goal is to keep religious endorsements out of public institutions in a secular country
  16. That's why I've moved off the notion of the vet backup that can come in and "win you a couple games". Other than maybe Vick which vet can win games? Be lucky enough just to get a couple of good quarters. Might as well save the roster spot for developmental player
  17. So what is it now around 200,000 Syrian civilian casualties? And our policy is to kkeep supporting rebels so there'll be ongoing stalemate resulting in a mounting toll. Yet we intervene in a neighboring country this time against the same rebels to save a a yazidi population that's a fraction of the Syrian death toll? ISIS militants massacre 80 Yazidis in north Iraq RBIL, IRAQ—Airstrikes pounded the area around Iraq's largest dam on Saturday in an effort to drive out militants who captured it earlier this month, as reports emerged of the massacre of some 80 members of the Yazidi religious minority by Islamic extremists. http://www.thestar.com/news/world/2014/08/16/isis_militants_massacre_80_yazidis_in_north_iraq.html?app=noRedirect
  18. Oh geez he's one of my least favorite players. But it will be just our luck he will grab the winning TD in week 1, one of only 7 receptions all year or something.
  19. Its the same logic that leads bills to conclude ej coming out of college is a better bet than fitz. Put another way, how many teams given a choice would take a conpletely inexperienced Bridgewater over tuel or lewis? Answer: 32 out of 32
  20. There's no doubt based on his college career and draft status Bridgewater should be placed above many on the list. The author just has to go on whats available.
  21. I think the author is correct putting tuel ahead of lewis; in spite of his shortcomings he has outplayed lewis this preseason. I bet bills would put him in first if EJ goes down
  22. At best I'd move him up one spot to #30, putting him ahead of jimmy Clausen.
  23. With all the needs we had, I guess we didn't have the luxury to have depth at QB (especially with the Kolb bust), but wow this NFL ranking is scary. Tuel is 2nd to last with the skinny reading: "Tuel's two rookie-year appearances were nightmarish. His arm isn't NFL-caliber ... " http://www.nfl.com/n...up-quarterbacks
  24. Go back in the thread, you'll see its in resposnse to some saying that rules precluding drivers being on the track would release Stewart from liability
