  1. Anyone looking at the stats and concludes hoyer is better needs their "eyes tested" Hoyer 8/20 (40%) 108, 0 rush, 0 TD, 0 INT, QBR 65.2 Manziel 14/27 (52%) 128, 26 rush, 1 TD, 0 INT, QBR 79
  2. Seriously I haven't. But way back when I said I thought thered be ways to challenge it, and even if not then after tax it was something like $250 million, so not quite the iron clad deterrent others were taking comfort in. If it turns out to have been a smoke screen I'm not surprised
  3. How is the $400 applied (or not?) I haven't been following
  4. Something like step 1 look at this ... http://mudpreacher.files.wordpress.com/2008/11/joanrivers2.jpg Step 2, if the urge comes back, look at that ... http://media.salon.com/2012/08/RTR36OBO-1280x960.jpg
  5. Certainly the estate will sell to a bidder at a billion more. And owners will be very tempted to accept it seeing how it will upwardly revalue their holdings.
  6. Speaking of LA, wait till the $2B check for sale of clippers clears in sterling's account. I see him swooping in and taking this thing with a $2 billion all cash offer
  7. If that resonates negatively with voters, won't be long before Hillary is out criticizing him for it. "Well look, it's not what I'd be doing anyway. I think at times like this a president needs to show leadership and compassion."
  8. Lower the sale price, greater chance they get moved, as the all-in cost to relocate gets lower
  9. Sounds about right, these bureaucracies have plenty of momentum on their own and the plans had been made. Not going to change gears especially when the commander in chief is out doing this ... What Obama did after speech on ISIS:
  10. Seriously did obl do this to make a statement? Does he not care about the other reporter and potential media backlash? Or does he have intelligence IS will save the hostage for now? Or info where he is to attempt another rescue op? Something else not disclosed?
  11. "she thinks"? who cares what unsubstantiated crap she puts out Outwardly we know that Hoyer was given the #1 position going into preseason, and JM made it a coin toss who would get, with browns taking longer to decide than they wanted. Here's the preseason stats for both: Hoyer 8/20 (40%) 108, 0 rush, 0 TD, 0 INT, QBR 65.2 Manziel 14/27 (52%) 128, 26 rush, 1 TD, 0 INT, QBR 79 If Manziel had been the starter coming into camp, there's every reason to believe he'd be the starter now. It's clear to me Browns are doing the sensible thing and sacrificing Hoyer for the first part of the season, while they groom the obvious long term starter Manziel
  12. Kind of concerned about injury. Other than Kiko (which had nothing to do with preseason games) we've had pretty good luck. Bucs are the type of physical team that can hurt us.
  13. If he could stay healthy a whole year I'd buy into this. But for now injury risk is too high
  14. Didn't a guy named Mel Blount play for them too?
  15. I hope their not lost for week 1. Was looking forward to Steelers putting a whooping on Pettine's sorry a$$ browns
  16. because if it wasn't a Gitmo alum, it would just be someone else. one of the thousands pouring in from western countries. Gitmo is just a partisan false flag, that misses the obvious big picture. BTW Bush released Gitmo prisoners too ... "Some 500 detainees were released from Guantanamo during the Bush administration." http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2009/jun/18/steny-hoyer/hoyer-correct-500-guantanamo-detainees-were-releas/
  17. while you're biatching about Gitmo in an attempt to make it partisan, here's the real story which cuts across not only party lines, but other western countries as well ‘Current Iraqi situation is byproduct of Western support in Syria’ http://youtu.be/-sl3uBq3uwc
  18. Actually sounds like fun to me to go to Vegas and hang out with those guys
  19. And the other guy is Floyd money mayweather?
  20. More on the guy in the video and UK's disgraceful record. "The killer, who is clad in black and covers his face during the video, appears to have a London accent, appears to be left-handed and is of average height. At least 400 people are known to have travelled from the UK to Syria and Iraq to fight for Islamic State (IS) - formerly known as Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS)." http://news.sky.com/story/1321932/who-is-briton-who-beheaded-james-foley
  21. Maybe they figure one bills instance with bud Adams incident was enough
  22. If I were a browns fan, I'd be even more concerned about that coaching staff. Pettine and shanahan look like the B team
