  1. Orton is a nobody. And if he ever were a somebody he's past his prime. Sick of hearing about him for years on this board. Needless to say, no interest
  2. He was one of my top 6 concerns. Punts were consistently 10 yards short of where the return man lined up. We were giving up field position as a result.
  3. Maybe this was about stealing bears playbook, because for the life of me I cant imagine what they expected the guy to do after just getting off the greyhound from Chicago. I thought he looked good at moving the offense and threw some good balls, especially dowbfield which our other QBs are loathe to do. He also had no run support
  4. So is Allen saying he might be waived? In any case I never liked his game and have no interest in him. If he can't beat out a slightly unheralded rookie and mcgloin, that says it all
  5. And you know the Chicago secondary will be gunning for them
  6. What else can he do? Thats who they played him against. I guess they take practice into account which most of us don't see
  7. How about caption this?
  8. What's bull is saying the red line was crossed when there's no direct evidence linking it to Syrian forces, credible stories have come out pointing to Turkish involvement, and the beneficiary of such an attack would clearly have been the rebels/isis from US strikes on Assad.
  9. Great quote from Rand Paul: "To interventionists like former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, we would caution that arming the Islamic rebels in Syria created a haven for the Islamic State," Paul wrote. "We are lucky Mrs. Clinton didn't get her way and the Obama administration did not bring about regime change in Syria. That new regime might well be ISIS," he said. 10. No he sucks just a showboater whose done nothing. And if he came to a small media market like buffalo he'd hate it. That's why at most I'd give up a used beer bottle filled with urine and a baggy with a dump in it
  11. For a "1 and a 2" for romo I hope you meant a pee and a poop. Cuz he's not worth more
  12. Bombs Away Over Syria! Washington Has Gone Stark Raving Mad by David Stockman • August 28, 2014 White House spokesman Josh Earnest on Monday tried to tamp down the notion that action against the Islamic State group could bolster Assad, saying, “We’re not interested in trying to help the Assad regime.” However, he acknowledged that “there are a lot of cross pressures In fact, there is apparently an option emerging from the bowels of the war machine that calls for an odd/even day plan to bomb both sides, thereby making clear that Washington is an equal opportunity spanker. Apparently, whether you use a 12th century sword or 20th century attack helicopter as a means of rule, you will be bombed by the “indispensable nation”, as Obama put it, adding that “no other nation can do what we do”. Well, that involves some “doing”. According to AP, it appears that Syrian airstrikes are imminent, but could be carried out under the odd/even day plan: “In an effort to avoid unintentionally strengthening the Syrian government, the White House could seek to balance strikes against the Islamic State with attacks on Assad regime targets.” Is any more evidence needed that Washington has gone stark raving mad than even the possibility that such an absurd option could be under consideration? http://davidstockmanscontracorner.com/bombs-away-washington-has-gone-stark-raving-mad/
  13. Honestly the determination seems pretty simple. NFL is entertainment and you want as much drama on every play. The point after with nearly 100% conversion essentially eliminates any drama from that play. I'm not saying make it 50 yarder, but 27-30 range seems wholly appropriate and a safe change.
  14. Why are they so slow in making such an obviously beneficial change?
  15. Is this official now for regular season?
  16. ... sure threw a nice deep ball. Why can't we have backups (or even starters) like this anymore?
  17. How about this guy? John Daly 'I Hit It Hard': http://youtu.be/x8-7V6ReeY8
  18. Your "Yes, promoting democracies in other countries that harbor terrorists. Not in allies ...." ... has been utterly refuted by the man's own words. You're nothing, period
  19. Baloney, read the man's actual words in his address. There's no distinguishing between allies and those who harbor terrorists. Its a generalized support of democracy with a near-religious conviction that it will address mankind's ills "It is the policy of the United States to seek and support the growth of democratic movements and institutions in every nation and culture, with the ultimate goal of ending tyranny in our world"
  20. WASHINGTON (CNN) -- President Bush opened his second term Thursday with a promise to the people of the United States and the world -- vowing to promote democracy both at home and abroad. Http://edition.cnn.com/2005/ALLPOLITICS/01/20/bush.speech/
  21. Lol you moron bush did the same thing in Gaza, saying he supported "democracy". That pattern was clearly estabislhed before obama. The whole " Arab" spring BS was rooted in bush policy. The sold the Iraq war in part on "spreading democracy throughout the Arab world". Its time to pull the plugs on your coma and acknowledge you're brain dead
  22. Yeah you're right that's why I deleted my post. He looked lost and got burned on one pass play i remember but on balance he's been adequate. I was real happy we picked him up in FA, that's for sure.
