  1. wrong, ive voted both ways. Unlike you who just votes republican no matter, supports them unconditionally when they win, biatch non-stop if a dems in office. thats why you and so many miss the point
  2. silly, this entire thread is founded on the false premise the president really matters that much. deficit spending, interventionist foreign policy, entitlements untouched, entrenched lobby groups run the table ... all against will of American people. The system is whats corrupt, the parties being part of that just offer up two crappy alternatives that arent really alternatives at all, just carry on the status quo
  3. if hes on our team, where do you rank him? id say tied for 3rd at best w/ williams, but could also be 4th or maybe even 5th if goodwin produces
  4. \i watch him play and I see a guy thats slow, and not physical enough to make up for it
  5. Kerley and Nelson, they cut Hill who was drafted to be a #1
  6. not only but think of being able to play with the DBs keying on Welker and Thomas. Decker is another David Nelson
  7. this could be a little harsh, but the substance IMO is true: if Jets think they found a #1 WR in Decker, they're in for a rude awakening “Decker in my mind was your fourth option in Denver, and that’s the talent I think he has. I think he’s a marginal No. 2 at best,” Schlereth said Wednesday on ESPN radio. “The worst cover guy you have on your defense is assigned to Eric Decker every week. New York will go crazy watching him be covered 1-on-1 and incomplete passes, throwing his arms up, begging for flags. “I’m telling you New York, get ready, begging for flags like ‘I was interfered with. That’s the only reason I didn’t catch that ball,’ every play, and then tripping over his own feet. Going for a big play and all of a sudden the turf monster gets him, ‘Bam!’ sniper, down. It’ll drive you crazy. It’ll absolutely drive you crazy.’’ http://nypost.com/20...ereths-remarks/
  8. Every one of those other 1st round players blows the doors off dareus. Sheppard cost us 2 wasted years @ MLB, you can't justify him by trading for someone 2 years after he stunk it up. We could have traded pretty much anything for Hughes, colts alternative was cutting him.
  9. America Can't Pay for Its Wars, Analysis Says America can no longer afford all of its wars and military adventures abroad. That’s the argument put forward by a nonpartisan budget analysis expressing concern over an apparent disconnect between the Defense Department, which has submitted its new budget for fiscal year 2015, and Congress, whose inability to balance a budget and agree on deficit levels has triggered automatic cuts that have slashed military spending to the bone and beyond. http://www.usnews.com/news/articles/2014/09/05/analysis-pentagon-cant-pay-for-itself-amid-budget-woes-increased-world-conflicts
  10. Yeah they've totally obscured the truth about earth being the actual center of the universe. Damn libs
  11. lol what a mindless rant. The science behind global warming is about as controversial in the scientific community as the "theory" the sun is the center of the solar system.
  12. With this endless stream of B-rated candidates, I think there's a secret Republican conspiracy to get Hillary elected. They tried in 2008 knowing a pile of dirty laundry would have beaten McCainiac, but Obama screwed it up in the Democratic primary. This time with Obama not eligible and Hillary too old to run after 2016, they are pulling out all the stops thinking this is their best and last chance.
  13. this caught nearly 3 minutes of the heated exchange on tape (warning some of the language NSFW) Just do this ...
  14. Great camp for kwonjoe one coach calls him a statue and the head coach would rather be fired than play him more in preseason
  15. 1) true, and it's an exhaustive analysis I dont have time for, but I just recall 2011 as being a rich draft where we underperformed 2) I dont see that at all, in each case I only choise guys who IMO are clearly better. I can't possibly imagine any one of those players have us wishing we'd taken Dareus 3) No question both have had better careers to this point than Williams.
  16. If judged by opportunity cost (the analytically correct way), then 2011 was pretty bad. Looking at who we could have drafted per round, you get: Rd 1: Marcel Dareus cost -----> AJ Green, Patrick Peterson, Julio Jones, JJ Watt, Robert Quinn, among others Rd 2: Aaron Williams cost -----> Andy Dalton, Colin Kaepernick, among others Rd 3: Kelvin Sheppard cost -----> Justin Houston, Demarco Murray, and anyone still on NFL roster Rd 4: Da'Norris Searcy cost ----->Jordan Cameron, Julius Thomas ... either of which shores up our TE position Rd 5: Johnny White cost -----> Richard Sherman ... wow .... and anyone still on NFL roster Rd 6: Chris White/ traded for Thad Lewis cost -----> anyone still on NFL roster Rd 7: Justin Rogers cost -----> anyone still on active NFL roster Rd 7: Mike Jasper cost -----> nothing, no one still on NFL roster Viewed this way 2011 was a very costly draft
  17. Found the original Unsolved Mysteries segment. How do you easily dismiss this? http://www.yourememberthat.com/media/10855/Resurrection_Mary_Ghost_Story/#.VAmGlPmSx8E
  18. Maybe you can see if the mark "hate johnny" is still available? I think you're too late for "hatin' life"
  19. I didn't say they didn't have the right, the union agreed to it. But how are the NFL penalties determined? Shouldn't it be non-arbitrary since we're talking about putting them in conditions that may worsen their addiction and ruin careers, wherein they have not quantified a benefit?
  20. Any evidence that's working? Isn't that what the normal civil and criminal penalties are supposed to do?
  21. Honestly what's the point of a year long suspension? So the player can be depressed, isolated, and have nothing to do but think about it, setting up an environment for more substance abuse?
  22. Err you don't find it odd a video that'd been up for years is taken down due to copyright right after I post it? Here's the wiki article on her, hopefully this won't get taken down too http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resurrection_Mary
  23. I'm not into spirits but this one isn't so easily dismissed. Resurrection Mary - Chicago's Most Famous Ghost!: http://youtu.be/mOZlHl2x1J8
  24. I dont think it has anything to do w/ injury risk. Can someone show me data which points to kick returns being more dangerous than plays from scrimmage? I think it's about not having a guy on the offense get tired out by returning kicks. Hence thats why you have defenders like Thomas and McKelvin returning. Since CJ's proper role is that of utility guy anyway, it's not important if he needs a breather for the first few downs of a possession
  25. Perfect, been saying all along he should be used as a utility guy returning kicks, some running back, some wide out. He IS NOT an every down back. In college what he excelled in was kick returner. CJ Spiller 96 yd kickoff return TD:
