did I miss something? they were an 8-8 team a year ago, during which they also beat Patriots at home. From last season they lost 2 starting Olinemen and accordingly used their draft to replenish. What other off season moves did they make? Just not seeing a top 10 ranking justified -

NFL.com is going all-in on Fins. Have them ranked #9 ahead of Saints, Falcons, Colts, and Steelers, among others ... wow, are they really that good? http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000392135/article/nfl-power-rankings-week-2-niners-rise-up-patriots-plummet -

Let's also not forget that Brady is a statue and folds up like a potatoes bug when the heat is on. The one thing Manuel has on Brady is mobility. -
What percent of womanhood are you speaking for and how do you know? What we do know is that you're not speaking for the actual victim in this case. The meter of justice should be handled by the courts and not the NFL anyway. If people are unhappy with the sentencing then lobby their judges for stiffer sentences for any such future situations. But don't re-sentence someone for the same crime

He represents a different challenge than the bears larger WRs who don't have that speed. Im thinking same about Gilmore, maybe they have mckelvin on him with man with help over the top all day. -
So now we've gone from telling his wife what to think and what's best for her, which backfired bwhen she publicly came out and stated the opposite, to speaking for all women. Lol Yeah OK the original NFL suspension was too short (especially compared to drugs which I think are too long), but that doesn't mean going back and changing it because a video only confirmed exactly what was stated in the report. Because a judge hands down a sentence thats too light does the discovery of "new" information that is redundant to the trial evidence give the judge the right to impose a new and harsher sentence?

Who's going to cover Wallace? From what I could tell on highlights he owned Revis. -
the latest from Babs ... Ceasefires in Which Violations Never Cease What’s Next for Israel, Hamas, and Gaza? On August 26th, Israel and the Palestinian Authority (PA) both accepted a ceasefire agreement after a 50-day Israeli assault on Gaza that left 2,100 Palestinians dead and vast landscapes of destruction behind. The agreement calls for an end to military action by both Israel and Hamas, as well as an easing of the Israeli siege that has strangled Gaza for many years. This is, however, just the most recent of a series of ceasefire agreements reached after each of Israel's periodic escalations of its unremitting assault on Gaza. Throughout this period, the terms of these agreements remain essentially the same. The regular pattern is for Israel, then, to disregard whatever agreement is in place, while Hamas observes it -- as Israel has officially recognized -- until a sharp increase in Israeli violence elicits a Hamas response, followed by even fiercer brutality. These escalations, which amount to shooting fish in a pond, are called "mowing the lawn" in Israeli parlance. The most recent was more accurately described as "removing the topsoil" by a senior U.S. military officer, appalled by the practices of the self-described "most moral army in the world." Week 2: Dolphins' Game Preparation
truth on hold replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm thinking back to a game a few years ago at home against jets. Bills were off to a good start, 5-2, both losses close ones on the road. For some reason everyone thought it'd be a cake walk against jets. That bubble was burst quite literally from the beginning with Rex having worked out a game plan to stop Chan's bubble screen. Fitz threw an ugly pock, Jackson got KO'd, and overall the team got spanked. Start of miserable losing streak. Im not saying a loss here equals another miserable string losses, but I do see conditions for a letdown for a crucial divisional home game. -

very concerned about this game. People seem complacent because we swept them last year. Also too much celebrating a single win last week over Chicago. Add to that the Pegula news, and you have a team that's just setup to lose focus and disappoint. A division loss at home is the worst kind -
Can we stop with the hypothetical "youre her dad"? IMO we know very little about that relationship. I find it extremely presumptuous and incredibly arrogant that outsiders are trying to dictate an outcome and course of action for her thru the media, against her stated wishes. And now of course we have bandwagon politicians trying to get the state involved.
-
Generically, she loves the guy, knows he has problems (which BTW she may have some too). They're working on it and committed to making it work. They're in joint therapy making progress, etc etc. People change. Ive seen some really messed up relationships work out, and some that started out like fairy tales end in tears.
-
if i had a daughter and in that situation, Id most likely be able to ask direct questions and understand more about the relationship (unless I was Jon Voight). And Id base my advice on that information. But without the benefit of knowing anything else, I will leave it to this adult female to determine what's best for her and her family.

ISIS Prepares An Attack In Texas?
truth on hold replied to 3rdnlng's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
have a professional trained in counter-furniturism test all the furniture in advance. you dont want this to happen -
yeah it's funny how it goes from Jones the individual at the party, to subsequently naming the cowboys as a defendant too ... like somehow they hid all 53 players in that room. Clearly shes just trying to drag the team's name into it, threatening to cheapen it knowing that could cost Jerrah far more than an actual civil claim
-
yeah really, woman in the photo seems to be enjoying herself. This could have the unimaginable effect of myself and others having sympathy for Jerrah

ISIS Prepares An Attack In Texas?
truth on hold replied to 3rdnlng's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
because you believe "they're here" ... that's usually a strong indicator "they're not" About 2.5 million Americans die each year. In 2011, 17 of them were attributed to terrorism, .001 percent. As The Atlantic reported, "Americans Are as Likely to Be Killed by Their Own Furniture as by Terrorism" http://www.theatlant...rrorism/258156/ So yeah, we should all be afraid of the bogeyman because all of a sudden the media is telling us we should be. while you're hiding behind the sofa thinking ISIS is at the door, just remember the sofa is just as likely to kill you!! lol
