  1. was never sold on him as a player, but he was great in the presser. Sounded like a leader, has some fire in him, handled the difficult questions, displayed sincere confidence in his team mates ...
  2. well they didn't use a 2nd round pick on janeane garofalo for notthing. I have a sense they're more committed this time than they were to mallet. Kraft and Bellichik have enormous egos, they'd throw Brady under the bus in a heartbeat rather than cite years of poor drafts and petty free agent moves
  3. And the answer is?
  4. no idea who says "gee I love that song" when this comes on. As bad as it was listening to it, watching the cheapo video was actually worse http://youtu.be/ELpmmeT69cE
  5. At least it showed he cared about the outcome and was frustrated he didn't get more of a chance to play. Must suck getting all amped up, you're the biggest name on the team, and you end up riding the pine in a blowout. Maybe theres some history between the two.
  6. Bradham looked like he was in extreme pain like he'd been shot, and Kyle knew right away he had to leave the field and was soon after ruled out with plenty of time left.
  7. seriously what is going on here? this is getting unbearable
  8. EJ was regressing and not playing to NFL standards. I was never an Orton fan, but the feeling is a middle of road QB at least gives us a chance at post season
  9. Only wins against vikings and raiders (barely at home). Tom without protection is nothing special and their defense has a huge talent deficit. Normally theys bounce back at home, but this time I can't see Bengals after a bye week not smoking them
  10. This does create a dilmena for the tebow haters who've been crying for Orton, and had been using the "elway knows QBs" line to bust on tebow for trading him. But before that he benched orton for tebow
  11. that article communicates why you cant view these big contracts in isolation, most fans fail to see the trade-offs
  12. He's a good fit for them and I see him having good chemistry with geno
  13. He was a figure head, they let him stay around and not officially get fired to save face. Its clear as a bell that was whaleys draft.
  14. What did he say?
  15. Makes the whole team look like they want to win, and that's that. The best coaches, GMs and owners don't commit to players, they commit to winning. Ask yourself: what would parcells, bellicheck, polian, kraft, carroll, etc etc do in that same situation? The buddy-gailey regime committed to fitz, and we saw how that worked out.
  16. Right now I'd even settle for Rex @ QB and Geno coaching
  17. This may very well be the best Bills defense I've ever seen. The yards per tells it all, because gross yards doesn't take into account how our sucky 3 and out offense has been keeping them on the field so long
  18. Orton, cousins or RG3 (one the skins QBs gets traded)
  19. The pair of calls against mckelvin covering Johnson were questionable too. The first one Johnson shoved mckelvin yet they flagged mckelvin. The 2nd was even worse when within 5 yard from scrimmage mckelvin bumped him which is legal, and Johnson did some phoney arm flapping thing. he basically flopped to draw a penalty. There's no way mckelvin who gives up 7 inches and 60 pounds could throw Johnson around like that. Sickening because it nullified Mario's sack
  20. Maybe that was part of the problem. They listened to the cat calls about training wheels on EJ. Well they featured him today, to the detriment of the run game, in an ill-timed game on the road ... and look what happened.
  21. He looked like a rookie playing in his first game..... first preseason game. Check that first scrimmage at training camp. It was not an NFL performance. It was like watching a college QB .... check that high school.
