  1. One of the worst FA signings? How cannot it not be the worst at this point? Byrd's 40 @ the combine was slower than most linebackers. There wasn't any slack for him to slip physically and still be a top player. Add that to his injury history and turning 28 this year, and Bills wisely passed on paying him what he wanted.
  2. I posted " .... we and our "allies" destablized Syria .... " which doesn't exclude our "dear friends" Saudis, Israelis, Turks, etc. The "western allies" misquote of me came from "Doctor Detail" DC Tom ... lol. But anyway it doesn't matter, you got the crux of the matter correct and that's what's important.
  3. thats what I mean, you miss the entire context of the discussion which was a choice between more or less intervention. Most every country in the world has groups that are largely impotent until the country becomes destablized (America would be the same). Your myopia to context is why you're a bottom feeder in your chosen profession, a "do you want fries with that?" "scientist"
  4. called spiller up the middle, easy 4 yard pickup there, instead tries to bounce it outside, loss of 1
  5. Why not? He wanted $$$$$$$'s, lots of them. He would have stayed in buffalo if we were highest bidder and there was hardly a tradition of winning while he was here.
  6. I don't think so. I think it will be a close one no matter who wins. I think this team has more character and depth than it used to, and they won't just lay down
  7. It was also a bit revealing that pettine had the cash, relies on a strong secondary, and had just coached him, yet showed no real interest in him
  8. From that list, how sweet would it have been had we taken Gabe Jackson @OG in rd2?
  9. most people would get that meant to be taken as any real threat to occupy northern iraq and eastern syria, except for pedantic morons. The latter's lot in life is that of order taker. Sound familiar?
  10. yeah dope, and how effective were they before we helped destablize Syria?
  11. because you have no real arguments thats why you cut and paste long winded articles from neocon &@^@!!'s and post images. The reason ISIS was formed is because we and our "allies" destablized Syria ... what do you think the second "S" stands for? wake up clown, it was MORE intervention that caused the problem. And your solution? You guess it: more intervention
  12. IMO he knew his body was breaking down. Thats why he went for the big guarantee versus a larger incentives-based deal. Cant fault him for that really, but I was always glad Bills passed on him. Saints are in a tough spot cap-wise for years in part due to this. But this season I wouldnt be at all surprised if his replacement Rafael Bush out plays him.
  13. [/not a liberal, and here's the image you want suppressed]
  14. remaining after stated goals were met IS further intervention
  15. OK goofball, we get you theory that the solution to failed intervention is more intervention. We got it the first time, and now umpteenth times later it's still just as idiotic
  16. Hope so. Except for one catch against bears he's come up tiny this year.
  17. Caste system is horrible. Had my own first hand experience with it.
  18. Best announcer in the game today easily, if not ever. Madden was good but he was also a blowhard pushing the big-market agenda
  19. Shame isn't it. I think left on its own that's probably the best piece of property on the planet. With the snow capped Himalayas in the north, exotic beaches in the south, and lush jungles with lions, tigers and elephants in between.
  20. Careful eating out of those tiffin boxes. Half a billion+ w/o access to toilets those things must look awfully inviting
  21. OK last line I saw had pats 3.5. Cinci favored makes more sense
  22. sounding like Kyle will play, Bradham won't .... Kyle Williams and Nigel Bradham were both sidelined in practice today with the knee injuries they suffered on Sunday. Doug Marrone didn't elaborate on the results of their MRIs but said he will see how they progress during the week and wouldn't give a timetable for their return. Bradham was wearing a knee brace and Williams was walking without much of a limp. Kyle Williams injured his knee and is not practicing. He was walking without a noticeable limp in the locker room on Wednesday. Doug Marrone said they will have to see how he progresses but he's one of a few people who doesn't need to practice to play. 10/1 Nigel Bradham underwent an MRI after injuring his knee in the loss to the Texans. He is not practicing but they will see how he progresses throughout the week. 10/1 http://www.billsdaily.com/ http://www.billsdaily.com/injury/
  23. It's called "manual scavenging," clearing human excreta by hand.
  24. well the odds makers agree w/ you, have pats as 3.5 favorite. to me thats shocking theyre still riding on fumes, given rule of thumb home field is worth 3, that means theyd even be favored on neutral field. I dont see this at all. Bengals are a physical team and theyve been the AFC's best thru 3 weeks. This is not the same Pats team as previous years. They would have lost 2 weeks ago @ home to Raiders, if not for a stupid holding call which nullified a TD
  25. odds are miami will be alone in first place next week without even playing, with both bills and pats favored to lose. Go figure
