  1. Sound of his guitar and playing was crazy-good back then. Wish I could do that!
  2. Sammy on offense and overall. He's the star out there and gets all the attention. Dareus on defense. First time I would even put him in our top 3, but he's been a man among boys out there.
  3. According to this in the mid-80's the 1959's were selling for $6k, now they're worth at least $400k $750,000.00 Les Paul: http://youtu.be/KjGaJj_-itE
  4. a huge upgrade (arguably a pair of huge upgrades) to that bruno martian show
  5. maybe slash can try looking under his top hat fwiw interesting story how he got that hat

  7. Aren't those the ones worth a million bucks ?
  8. A note from Slash: "I'm trying to find a Les Paul that I used back in the early 90's. I've since lost track of it. It was an 1989/90 Gibson Goldtop, serial #70854. I always loved that guitar and would be interested in buying it back from whomever has it…. I'll make it worth their while" http://slashonline.c...-an-old-friend/
  9. Sammy on offense because its clear he's become our most important weapon. And they know it would be a huge blow to the team's psyche if they can knock him out of the game. Sammy will have a tough assignment his first time facing a resurgent Revis. Kyle Williams on defense. He's played well against them in the past. If can consistently penetrate up the middle and force Brady to move laterally out of the pocket (something he's uncomfortable with), it will create serious problems for them
  10. Antiwar.com Great collection of news and commentary from around the world to offset the pro-war media media bias and government propaganda http://www.antiwar.com
  11. he may get another chance, Im not giving up on him
  12. Kyle owns Brady love to see him out there. Charles is good, but he's not a penetrator like kyle. Need pressure to Brady to win
  13. So whats the deal here for this week?
  14. And he looks fatter than ever. Some people just need to be left alone and be at their natural weight. I saw someone in shoutbox estimate he's pushing 400, they may be right
  15. those things had gravity and were pulling the cat in
  16. right around week 12 I said theres a decent chance Pettine leaves, because Rex keeps chatting him up as an HC-candidate (Im sure he just wanted him out of Buffalo), his defense was putting up the sexy sacks stats, and the league is desperate for HCs. Of course I was attacked for that "ridiculous" view and the "wild, unsubstantiated speculating"
  17. True. But still be interested in the math behind NFL.Com's that ranks us behind all 3 teams we beat, 2 in their building, none with a better record record than us and one with a losing record. Thats ridiculous.
  18. It will be a game changer in the division, and pats know it. Thats whats scary, the old dog showed they still have some bite left beating Bengals knowing a lot was at stake
  19. His HC record is 29-51 with only one winning season in 5 years. That's hardly hot hand as HC. People forget how unstable he was and how many blown leads they had because of his bonehead mistakes. He's in the right place as DC. I think the league feels the same way about him.
  20. no, he was considered too much of a screw-up as HC. I think the league knows DC is the right spot for him. Also he never took a team as far as Whisenhunt did, so that's not perfect comparison. Best case maybe he gets a legitimate shot in 2 - 3 years if Bills and our D are successful. He may get interviews for next year, but I think they'll be more of the "let's pick his brain" type, without anyone being serious about hiring him.
  21. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000407129/article/nfl-power-rankings-week-6-san-diego-chargers-hit-no-1-spot Bills 17th, lowest rated team with winning record and behind all 3 teams we've beaten, none of whom have a better record ... hmmmmm
  22. Of course its my opinion. As are the superlatives about him we're supposed to take on faith. However since his #s don't support the latter those views are the unsupported ones.
  23. actually it's just the opposite. We're supposed to just take it on faith around here that Woods is "great, a stud, steal @ 41 overall, the next Hines Ward, etc etc" even though his numbers say otherwise. I hope he becomes all the positive things people are saying about him (and more), but there are reasons to doubt it too. Until the numbers say otherwise, he's not "great, a stud, steal @ 41 overall, the next Hines Ward, etc etc"
