  1. Kind of a dilmemna because they don't have the "cj up middle , bounced to outside for 2 yard loss". And they're conservative and wouldn't want to make a mistake early in passing game. At same time I think they'll be reluctant to use brown right away. So I'll go boobie up middle for 1 yard gain
  2. so whatever happened here? if Sammy loses by a vote to Telvin, Im going to feel awfully guilty
  3. But some of plans he signed off on were ridiculous. Like the sparano sanchez-tebow substitution nonsense
  4. Its a shame linemen dont get more recognition . league should go out of its way to help that along. Its not like there isn't room. About half the ROW candidates have fairly ho-him games for talent positions .... like RBs with 72 yards total.
  5. I liked him better when he was fat though. Doesnt look right now
  6. The guy calling the shots there couldn't be fired.
  7. Unfortunately I kind of agree with you, and mostly its because its the same oline he'll be running behind. No one in the league right now is going to be great behind them
  8. I don't think there is any trade colts would have listened to. They tanked an entire season for that one guy.
  9. gee I thought it was funny
  10. Lol ... what a dope. This won't sit well with beavis' ego The Boston Globe's Ben Volin reported Wednesday that Bill Belichick sent Revis home yesterday without allowing him to participate in practice after Revis showed up late on Tuesday for a 7:30 am meeting, according to three sources. When asked by reporters following Wednesday's practice why he missed Tuesday, Revis replied it was, "Between me and coach. Talk to him about it." http://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/2014/10/22/revisweb/lh25CfWBqzP53XcVhJXAzL/story.html
  11. IMO there's no doubt he's every bit as disruptive as white and smith in their prime. You never could take your eyes off any one of them if you're on offense. And like them he has his own distinctive playing style too. If he can keep it up for another 8-10 years, he's definitely in the conversation. Getting clowney back will make him that much more dangerous.
  12. i think everyone would agree levitre was our best guard for a while. Listed @ 6'2", 302 ... thats just about perfect. Big enough to take on defenders, small enough to get low leverage, and quick enough to get out of the blocks and move around in space. Urbik is 6'5" 324, and Pears @ 6'8" 316
  13. They have tackle bodies. Guards are more compact ... think giant full back. Tackles are more stationary and rely on wing span to not let guys get around the corner.
  14. I just think that's what your #1 WR should do. We haven't had a true #1 in a while so we're not used to it. Granted he's a rookie doing it so that makes it notable. But telvins effort, even for an established star, would be outstanding
  15. I actually don't like this move. They got gouged up the middle last week. With mayo out and wilfork a fat shell of his former self, I was hoping that would continue. They're going to 4-3 looks more often and with their secondary they can be a good D again. Not as versatile as with mayo, but still better than last week.
  16. Isnt bumping an official pretty much crossing the line? Kuechly got ejected for it this week
  17. How does a guy named "Anthony Richard" get the nickname "boobie"?
  18. The thread made me realize how much talent there is in the league right now. We probably all have a tendency to reminisce about so-and-so bygone era. Not that I have the time to do it, but I wonder how this exercise would have looked with the rosters of say 20 years ago. Again, probably my view of boselli was clouded by his play against Bruce smith, when he singlehandedly owned the guy. That was unheard of
  19. Is it true Ralph went ballistic on TV about the dubious holding calls against the Bills that occurred at critical moments?
  20. He was vulnerabke now that cowboys are playing well. Jerrah won't need to call him up to generate publicity
  21. I agree that would seal it in at least a plurality of people's minds. Heck a lot of people are saying he's best ever already.
  22. best, greatest, top, singular, one, better than all the rest
  23. for clarity's sake, purpose of thread was your interpretation of "greatest" ever. in reality "best" and "greatest" are singular terms, and if one wanted to use either to identify a category with more than one entry, would need to preface with "one of the"
  24. my only recollection of Munoz was getting totally embarrassed by bruce smith repeatedly, maybe that biases my thinking
  25. i could be wrong but wasnt reed considered more a FS? definitely one of best ever whichever. very different kind of game than Troy's though
