  1. Agreed. But overall Sammy's has a great 1st half --- I think he's been on 3 ballots and won 2.
  2. Im sure part of it was playing to the audience. Trying to be the voice to express their frustration. But for the most part jets brought it on themselves and he did make some important observations. Like how they overly celebrate anything positive. And frankly at this point jets do not look like a professionally coached team. Remind me of high school or NCAA division III. The failed gimmick plays that backfire, trying to con bills that harvin wasnt part of the game plan ... which again fooled no one, and lead to Geno's 1st INT For contrast how a more professional teak like the giants conduct themselves heres an interview with giants GM. Much more straightforward, balanced and substantive http://nypost.com/20...g-too-cautious/
  3. Gotta be Barr IMO: eight tackles, a sack, a pass defensed and a forced fumble, which he returned 27 yards for a touchdown in overtime to give the Vikings a 19-13. http://www.nfl.com/v...ap3000000417775
  4. Romo is a big jerk, I can see why Orton couldn't stand the guy. He never should have come back in. Weeden had out played him, scored on both possessions, representing majority of their points. Romo was still hurting and he wasn't needed anyway. He was acting like some kind of hero returning to save the day. Hes lucky game was not lost on his fumble or picked off on next play. He's nothing but a selfish, me-first media whore
  5. Lol my favorite part of the rant "Sammy Watkins catches 3 passes for 157 yards. You know how long it takes a Jets receiver to get 157 yards? Three years!" ------- Mike Francesca owns John Idzik and the Jets with epic rant http://nypost.com/2014/10/27/mike-francesa-owns-john-idzik-and-the-jets-with-epic-rant/
  6. I was wondering same during the game. But then I thought they wouldn't want to send any signals this wasn't Orton's team, maintain a clear separation. And like some have said Orton still needs the reps
  7. I liked Vick at one time, he had a great playoff win @ green bay. But when you're washed up, you're washed up. 34 is too old for his kind of game, and he's been in too many systems. And he's never been able to pickup the blitz. He reminds me of mcnabb now at the point he was hanging around too long, when the game had simply gotten too fast for him.
  8. imo they gave him the hook too early. The first pick was on the coaching staff for trying to force the ball deep to Harvin early. Guy doesnt know the offense and as Michael Irvin aptly pointed out "he's a running back playing WR" ... deep routes aren't his thing. The other 2 were on Geno, which isnt great but doesnt get your starter yanked that early. That and Vick being completely washed up, meant you keep Geno in the game
  9. It looked like Lawson got away with a late hit out of bounds and either Hughes or bradham with a late hit on Vick well after the whistle had blown
  10. "Need a defensive coordinator?"
  11. more we win the further back we pick in 2nd round too. middle of pack would mean our first pick wouldnt come until around 50th overall. This team had better have an effective Free Agent strategy, it will be first time in a long while we cant count on replenishing from the draft
  12. I agree, love the way the guy thinks. He looked at our schedule and said this team could be 9 & 3. he all but said Geno is not going to make it too
  13. - Refreshing that we had a real announcer today in Gannon. His comments about Bills defense, and secondary were spot on. Theyre both very good - Which brings me to my 2nd point. So sick of people trashing our secondary on this board. Gilmore and McKelvin make a strong pair. If one pass is completed against a DB, people on this board trash the guy. By that standard Deion sucked too - Conservative game plan was right call. We have a shaky Oline, going against a strong D on the road. This game was always about letting our Defense shut down Geno & co, and the offense staying out of the way - I dont really care about the Sammy missed TD. He'll learn and it wasnt bad. People are acting like he was doing an Ocho-Cinco, when all he did was slow down prematurely. The real takeaway is how explosive he was on that play and the TD he did get. - Orton has all the qualities of a leader (strong arm, audibles, puts guys in position to make plays, can get the ball out quickly, doesnt play scared) EXCEPT he doesn't feel pressure at all. He simply wasn't born with that gene. This more than anything has the risk of costing us some games with him - With the bye, I expect Bryce Brown to be worked into the game plan better against KC - Denver about to the give Pats their 3rd loss next week. That puts us just 1/2th game behind
  14. Then what happens if you give him the big contract? Have to find a way to make it incentive based. Too much risk he loses motivation otherwise
  15. A fumble on muffed punt would be nice too
  16. Here's the question I have on dareus: why is he playing so much better this year? He's shown flashes (good and bad) in prior years, but this time he's a beast game in, game out. Is he better conditioned? Don't think so as he originally failed physical. Is it the scheme? He's played 4-3 before. Other players? Essentially same as last year except for spikes. Is spikes behind him a factor? Is it motivation for new contract?
  17. the surprising thing is that a lot of them have lasted this long

  19. Gary richrath .... wow
  20. Emotionally they shot their wad losing a close one last week to pats. Lets face it both these teams set their sights on that first game against pats. Bills lost too but at least our record has us in contention. Losing to pats and being so far behind is a killer IMO
  21. Outright I got .... Broncos Eagles Ravens Bears Colts Dallas Packers Seattle Atlanta Bills Chiefs Fins Texans 9 out of 13 on road. That sounds crazy, but I can't think of any to change my mind.
  22. Simple game plan: Bills D stop the run, put it in Geno's hands, take our chances. I think we will and win 27 - 19
  23. Wow sounds like a musical interpretation of a bills game
