  1. maybe for some nostalgic reason you may like that, but this one is just obnoxiously bad
  2. that will be the narrative of course because of the romo-media machine. But the real story is that Cards D held Murray to lowest total of the year @ just 79 on 19 carries
  3. didnt he play through an injury his entire last year of college? guy wants to play, just off to a bit of a frustrating start due to injury. it happens a lot in nfl
  4. Silly move. Vick is washed up. Genos meltdown last week was a result of bad coaching. Calling for a deep throw to harvin early thinking they'd fool us. Harvin is not a great wr, as Irvin observes he's a "running back playing wr". That pick shook and confused Geno early and lead to the other two. Geno obviously has a lot of question marks, but benching him for a washed up guy isn't the answer, especially when the coaches bear a lot of the blame for his last failed outing.
  5. Speaking of which what if RG3 comes in and lays an egg after a pair of quality performances in consective wins by colt? Two hyped up QB bubbles in nfc east could burst today.
  6. too bad, I had Cards. Weeden gives them better chance
  7. 1. Watkins Most talented player on offense, and quickly become player defense must key on. Everything revolves around him. If he goes down the lot of Goodwin, woods, Williams and hogan is not that impressive. Add to the emotional blow of losing the promising rookie and complaints for no #1 next year for a guys who's not playing, and it would be devastating all the way around. 2. Dareus Key to the defense. His penetration is what's allowing pass rushers like Hughes to shine, and disrupting run plays.
  8. Ryan Fitzpatrick, straight up. He was a "Buffalo guy".
  9. He highlighted what most are missing: Sammy's powerful upper body and fast arms, he's shaking off press coverage at the line by swatting away the defenders hands like nothing. IMO if bills were paying attention against pats they would have realized that he's a nightmare matchup for revis. Revis can't jam him at the line, and has to respect his speed downfield meaning he'll bite on upfield moves like on the catch mayock showed.
  10. Where do I put the coins in?
  11. I was impressed with benjamims ability to get open last night, but not so much with his hands. There were a couple less than perfect throws but still catchable balls that he dropped.
  12. since when does Roth have his own hair?
  13. "Why don't you turn me loose, turn me loose, turn me loose."
  14. Sammy I could see around 1400-1450, that's averaging little over 100/game from here.
  15. Orton throws a better ball than Newton. Look how much better Steve smith is doing with flacco. Somehow think benjamin will be able to eke out another 400 yards over his last 8 games. He's having a great season and looks like the real deal too.
  16. Thus far he's proving me wrong. Never been a fan of his game, thought he was soft and put up #'s but was prone to the big mistake at the wrong time. He's shown great leadership, toughness and confidence. I think the guy is a late bloomer of sorts.
  17. Kelvin Benjamin's #'s pretty much right on top of Sammy's Kelvin http://m.espn.go.com/nfl/playercard?playerId=16730&src=desktop Sammy http://m.espn.go.com/nfl/playercard?playerId=16725&src=desktop
  18. no way he turns into a TO. that was epicly bad fail, and that guy was a weirdo from the start. but even if i felt his #'s were deserving otherwise, the rookie mistake nixes him for rookie of the week honors
  19. Needless to say he's not Riding the Storm Out this time. Beyond appearance, I couldnt get into his concert for fear he's going to keel over at any moment
  20. great analysis as always, this column is a gift
  21. that really was an amateurish overall game plan by the Jets. They wanted Harvin to be the focus of the offense but con Bills into that not being the case with Rex's pre-game comments about not using him much. This fooled no one, and was a simple adjustment to make anyway. Geno's first pick was a result of trying to force it to him downfield -- I blame that one on the coaches. And later on the ridiculous kick off play, which again fooled no one -- if you notice theres a Bill player right on top of TJ. No one wonder he didnt bother getting up until it was too late, and Harvin saw the Bills guy too and wisely just decided to eat it. I bet Harvin wishes he were back in Seattle already, and out of that circus
