  1. Todd Bowles. DC for Cardinals should get some looks next year too (even though NFL.com curiously has him listed as a 50 year old rookie for the Dolphins http://www.nfl.com/player/toddbowles/2532231/profile
  2. if someone has a crappy arm does anything else matter? plenty of QBs with big arms and pea brains go far. One of them named Bradshaw has 4 rings. Saying a guy has a crappy arm but can still be a good QB, is like saying a guy with poor aim can still be good at darts, soneone who doesnt consistently hit the pocket can be a good bowler, a kicker with a bad leg can still be a good field goal kicker, etc etc
  3. we have an immobile QB that can't run a dink and dunk west coast offense with a bunch of underneath guys. Sammy and Goodwin are the only vertical guys we have. If sammy cant go then we really need Goodwin to hit on some big ones
  4. No. In that case would need Goodwin to stretch the field with some deep catches early
  5. Also recenty mario manningham never returned to form and was out of the league not too long after the seahawk linebacker took that horrible cheap shot on his knee
  6. The "hate" (at least from me) is directed at Gailey for thinking he needed an egg head to run his "brilliant" offense, and at buddy for being an incompetent GM. At times its expressed as calling fitz what he was, a backup at best with no business starting. I've never blamed him for wanting to start and accepting a large contract. That some people interpret that as personal "hate" for firz just shows how sensitive they are for being so attached to a guy that was a bum
  7. The hate comes from a guy that stunk who held onto starting position way too long, the latter is the coach and GM's fault. I honestly could care less how hard he tried, never should have been a starter, some of us recognized it early and said it was a mistake committing to and paying him.
  8. Before us yes, with us no. The one time we needed to win our last game against steelers 3rd stringers to make it he laid an egg, and that was pretty much all she wrote. And I realize its a team game, but I wreckon that any team built around QB's like luck, Brady, manning, big Ben, Rodgers and maybe a few others will find themselves in post season most of the time. Teams built around fitz, edwards, Holcomb, etc .... errr not so much, maybe not all. I think pretty much every coach and GM would agred with this.
  9. But someone accused him of rape at one time, so it must be true
  10. Holcomb: similar to Fitz, pretty smart, lacked NFL arm Bledsoe: faded fast Losman: good arm, not smart Edwards: perhaps best of lot in terms of brains and arm until the KO against Cardinals Fitz: see Holcomb Truthfully it doesn't matter how you rank them. If someone can't get you to the post-season, they're all in the same category
  11. You're missing the point. He's a "buffalo guy". Which to many on here meant the woefully under-talented should be wildly over paid.
  12. Oh man has NY football fallen apart. If jets and giants combined rosters could they field a winner?
  13. nice, would be cool place to work
  14. Don't see it . once the NY media and fans turn on you its over. They ran Sanchez out of town, Rex is next maybe izdik too
  15. who wins that division? cowboys are fading fast, skins are on life-support, and giants have shown nothing
  16. right after that he also said this http://youtu.be/udNHsk57f24
  17. Have to be kidding busting on clowney like this. Dozens of players sit out each week with injuries. And all 3 "great ones" you mentioned missed games due to injury
  18. How about dungy? Would he coach again? Be a great new face for that franchise. Opposite of that blowhard rex
  19. Still I just don't get it. He's been to a super bowl and conference championship. Totally outperformed his predecessor singletary. With how hard it is to find a competent HC, why mess with it? Just because he can be an ass? At least he wins
  20. both he and the 9ers always deny those rumors. And players have always liked him
  21. if hes available, but I just dont see 9ers dropping him after one bad season. Seems crazy to me
  22. Unless they go on a tear in 2nd half (highly unlikely), then it's near a certainty Rex won't be coaching Jets come next season. Some possible candidates: - Rob Ryan: Don't laugh, stranger things have happened and this is the Jets - Bill Cowher: (my darkhorse favorite) Already in NYC for broadcasting, probably loves the big market spotlight. Think he'll like Jets core of decent players, high draft picks, and cap space - Darrell Bevell: Not sure why his name always comes up since Seattle is really known for defense, but it does so I'll put him here - Josh McDaniels: He left Bellichick before, he wants to be a head coach. But would he betray him for a division rival? Never know, these teams have a weird history of coach movements - Kyle Shanahan: First time in years Browns have an offense. With something to hang his hat on, just a matter of time before "the other" Shanahan gets a shot - Jim Schwartz: If Bills D ends up Top 3, it's possible. Last year we lost a 1-year DC after he got credit for a big move up the defensive rankings
  23. players who go flat out every play and dont protect themselves dont last very long. As a fan I want players who use good judgment and know how to stay healthy.
  24. could be, could not be .... wayyyyyyyy too early to tell. if he is, then so is kiko, and aaron williams was too
  25. errr bruised not broken. kind of a difference
