  1. I think they either a)committed to taking 4 shots at the end zone or b) chefs took away the underneath stuff (hard to tell watching on TV). Not kicking FG as you say was unquestionably the right call no matter
  2. Id take the bills not because I'm confident they will win but because I think it will be a close one. It is going to be a dogfight with both teams knowing what's at stake. With no time to prepare they will play balls out, and look to win with brute force and determination rather than any kind of special game planning. They'll be no give up by either side. Gets decided by last second field goal. Hopefully carpenter's revenge kick!
  3. Yeah, I was thinking same thing. Its a shame an impotent offense is making us not apprediate the special defense we have
  4. wow you're right, this team doesn't blitz much so most of their sacks come from the front 4. Id imagine buddy Ryan's bears defense blitzed a lot. NFL's Rosenthal called bills front 4 a "force of nature" lol
  5. Bills have 34 sacks thru 9 games ... 3.8/game 84' bears have the record at 74 .... 4.6/game For Bills to catch them they need to average 5.7 over the remaining 7 games Last week they had 6
  6. Speaking of raiders, bills are like them in not being able to hold a late lead at home by fumbling it away. That's what crappy teams do.
  7. No thats not true. He had almost 100 yards in the first half. And the game was tied at end of 3 qtrs
  8. What I am worried about is our team. We have too many weaknesses still ... QB, TE, Guard ... and missing that 1st round to address at least one of them (maybe more with a trade) could be painful
  9. Here's the question though: right now would you trade Watkins for Beckham and our 2015 first round pick back? If we miss playoffs with Watkins (the expected case after yesterday), I'd probably opt for Beckham and our 2015 1st round pick
  10. As NFL Media's Daniel Jeremiah told NFL NOW, "If you don't get a hand on Odell Beckham off the line of scrimmage ... he will get on top of any corner. Arguably the best corner in the NFL (Sherman) could not run with Odell Beckham in the open field." As the first Giants rookie receiver with back-to-back 100-yard outings since Byron Williams in 1983, Beckham -- despite missing the first four games of the year -- has an outside shot to climb back into the Offensive Rookie of the Year derby. Jeremiah already ranks him above Sammy Watkins and Mike Evans. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000426179/article/richard-sherman-odell-beckham-jr-is-a-great-player
  11. The crowd is great dont get me wrong, but the flattish stadium design wastes all that noise. You don't see chaos out there from the visiting team like you do at seahawks stadium, arrowhead, some others, and the domes.
  12. Start looking ahead to the 2015 free agency market, because with no 1st round pick we can't even look to the draft
  13. Seahawks knew to maximize crowd noise you need more vertical seating angle. That keeps the noise in. Ralph is too flat. Crowd noise escapes, on the field its not really that loud. You don't see visitors all confused, calling time outs, and getting delay of game penalties
  14. Seriously what gives here? And nearly lost to vikes too. The consensus is that its a tough place for visitors, but the record doesn't lie
  15. Might lose? The entire time up to mckelvin fumble. After that might went to "would lose". We've seen that script before. Tired D rushed back onto field, give up TD. Impotent offense can't match. Game over. As a fan I just have a 6th sense about these things. I never felt we were done done against lions or bikes when behind late. This time however I knew it was too many mistakes, and the team had gone flat. The thrill was gone
  16. Go for TD no question. We saw what happened when bills got ball back after KC punt. No time except for silly razzle dazzle play.
  17. Of those you listed Chandler. Every time I think hes ready to be "the guy" at TE (like clutch catch against vikes) he messes up or shows he's not consistent in the clutch. Yesterday's game was the critical push-off on a key 3rd down late, and before that not being able pick up Brown's end zone fumble (which would have most likely iced the game). Speaking of which, if Brown keeps playing and fumbling he'll replace Chandler on the list
  18. I knew EJ had to sit after the Texans game, but that said I also know Orton is not any kind of real solution -- his lack of mobility is just too great a weakness. IMO he's the most immobile QB in the league. I wouldn't mind seeing EJ come back and see what he has after being able to sit and watch. This offense is still not scoring enough points, and red zone is atrocious. I dont see that theres much to lose giving him another chance
  19. Yeap, that was one too many mistakes
  20. On 4th down in the red zone, if he throws the corner route to Sammy looks like a TD. So why was it thrown short? Was that on Sammy for not coming back or Orton for under throwing it?
  21. That's not true at all. Win against Miami gets us to 6&4, and all but eliminates Miami. Win 4 of last 6 and get to 10 & 6 and see what happens.
  22. With the fumbles can't pin this on Orton, but his lack of mobility came back to haunt them today. Don't go for it on 4th and a yard, and 4th and a foot. Even pats sneak Brady in those situations.
  23. On 4th down in the red zone, if he throws the corner route to Sammy looks like a TD. So why was it thrown short? Was that on Sammy for not coming back or Orton for under throwing it?
  24. yeah really, and he's limping around at less than 100% id rather see Bryce get the carries
  25. looked up LB on receiving end of that hit, and turns out he had a good career and finished with the Bills http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isiah_Robertson
