I wonder how much can be attributed to Orton being such a statue. Gotta make de's job a lot simpler knowing exactly which spot the QB will be every time he drops back

Updated: The AFC Playoff Picture

He had a rough first outing which isn't unusual for a rookie. Id expect him to improve, it's really the rest of that team I'm more concerned about holding up their end of the bargain. The reason he was in there is because the offense wasn't doing squat with hoyer, offenses were running all over them, and they were losing games. -

are there scenarios where Bills win next week in Chokeland and are mathematically eliminated? -
I notice McCarthy was biatching a lot on the sidelines about every little thing, like he felt they were entitled to the calls because of who they are. The hold that over turned the lacy run I remember in particular he went ballastic even thought the replay showe clearly the guard tackled Kyle and it was the key block.

Mel Kiper: No franchise QBs in 2015 draft

Better than Luck IMO Mariota looks kinda skinny to me. I wonder how his body holds up in nfl. Be interesting to see his combine #'s -
I debated between either Levi Brown because of the progress he made, or Young because of his talent. But in Levi's case I wonder why he couldn't make it in the CFL, and Young have to wonder if he'd ever get it back after being out so long (yes I know he's officially retired, but something tells me a veteran minimum paycheck gets him out).

In wouldnt be too concerned if I were you. Barring a total collapse there's no way he's available anywhere near where we can make our first pick -

Does this mean OJ will get to play Gooding in "The Cuba Gooding Story"? -

Winston is the best college QB I've ever seen .... I find no weaknesses in his game or measurables -
Give us your overall impression of Sammy Watkins

That's what's I've been saying all along. He's not as big as an Evans and lacks the vertical and body control of a beckham. Those guys have the "open when covered" quality that he lacks. Player he most reminds me of is not a wr at all. It's former pats DB Ty law. When the was allowed to play physical he was the best. When they called it tighter he was average. Sammy has a powerful upper body he can use to push DBs off him (top wr on bench at combine). He got away with a push last Sunday. He needs that to create separation because he's not a jump ball guy. -

Restaurant chains .... As in full service, sit down, get waited on ... Do nothing for me. That said I don't think buffalo has anywhere near an abundance of amazing restaurants. What they do have is an abundance of amazing local "junk food" places (pizza, wings, subs, etc.) that compete with crappy fast food places like mcdonalds. Other than lack of drive thru I can't see why one wouldnt consistently choose the local joints.

I saw the Gilmore replay and he wasn't early. On Graham and Williams neither were shown and what I said is I'm guessing there were similar elements ...not "decided" it happened. Also the urbik play I did see and you failed to ackowledge. Please restrict your comments as a response to actual content of the post you quoted. Thank you, The management

But has really shown that he's a great YAC guy in traffic. IMO no when run reverses to him. I never really liked the idea of using him that way, rather not see him take the punishment for not much upside -

I agree with you and guys like Brady and manning can make a #2 or #3 wr look like #1's. IMO Reggie Wayne for example is just an above guy but deemed nothing special with a fitz throwing to him. -

He's 6'1" and his vertical was significantly less than Beckham's at the combine. No way anyone who objectively watches them both would argue Sammy can get as vertical and have the same body control of Beckham. Sammy's strength is simply that: upper body strength, but also that upper body bulk limits his vertical. Won't go thru every guy on your list as many arent #1's. As one example welker isn't a #1, he always needs someone else to feed off and create openings, like moss and then gronk, so he can clean up on the underneath routes -

More like a strong #2, than a true #1. Say that because a true #1 is "open when covered" like a Julio Jones or Dez Bryant. Sammy isn't as tall as those guys, and lacks the leaping ability to make up for it and win jump balls. Of the current crop I see Beckham and maybe Evans becoming true #1's. -
I also think the Denver players do a lot of acting out trying to draw flags. Whether they're coached that way or as prima donnas feel they're special, idk. So perhaps if the refs weren't biased, they were still incompetent for succumbing to the acting. Cases in point: 1.Gilmore gets a perfectly executed clean hit on sanders. Sanders on the ground at first looks like vegetable, then later after the call is official he miraculously resurrects and leads the stadium in a round of cheering. Doesnt get the concussion check on the sidelines either 2. Urbik touches a DB who flies back 7 yards out of the picture. Draws a flag. Urbik is a big guy but I can't possibly imagine a push like that sends a 200lb guy flying that far. If it does he's Hercules. 3. There was another play where a Denver DL started flapping his arms and drew a flag. Don't remember which players were involved but the review was very questionable. 4. We didn't get to see them but I'm guessing the penalties on Kyle Williams and Graham after the picks had similar elements.
