  1. Mayock had him ahead of clowney and #1 overall , both of which I thought were nuts. I'd say ahead of clowney is a given now but #1 overall I'd go with beckham
  2. That eternal flame burned out our playoffs chances again.
  3. Maybe KC gets their first WR TD this season.
  4. Yeah. That's where I thought he looked kinda awkward. I got it wrong.
  5. less interested w/o Bills pick of course,.for Rd1 my interest level at this point is mostly where Mariota and Winston end up
  6. Actually it was disproven that everyone thought Sammy was better than beckham with the chip Kelly article. You're GM and scouting Department are supposed to do their own analysis anyway. And the real question is not if Sammy was worth drafting higher than beckham in 2014, it's was he worth drafting higher in 2014 + your 2015 1st and 4th higher
  7. Gabe Jackson. Yeah I forgot. Raiders aced their 3 first three picks. Can't remember last time we had a draft anywhere near as good
  8. You're wrong. They're blown a lot of late leads and also soundly beaten other teams. The narrative that his stats are "garbage time" fluff is nonsense
  9. See I don't buy this as an excuse for draft miscues. If you're draft board is simply derived from pundit consensus, then get rid of the GM and all the scouts.
  10. Any chance Mack falls to us if we don't trade up and take Sammy? Would raiders have taken Sammy? I don't think Cleveland would have had they stayed at 4. In any case either Mack or Beckham @9 + next years 1st and 4th better for us than trading up
  11. For me it's Khalil Mack. He looked a bit slow at the combine and moved awkwardly on the field, and I just didn't see his game translating that well to the pro level. Thought he'd be average in the nfl and not justify his #5 overall selection. Man was I wrong. Guy is a powerhouse and a force against the run or the pass. He has a presence on every play like the great ones do. And what impressed me most was his technique .... he has the refined moves and complete bag of tricks like a seasoned vet. Kudos to Mack for proving me wrong.
  12. I like his game a lot. He's a leader, makes good decisions, has a strong arm and can throw on the run. They had a strong draft finding their players to build around with Carr on offense and Mack on defense.
  13. No problem with chia head
  14. Idk when Dareus went out there was a gaping run hole in the middle. I wouldn't expect the same to happen if Kyle went out and Dareus stayed in
  15. IMO Hughes is a better player right now than Kyle at this point in their careers. But that said they're at different positions for the pro bowl balloting so it's all relative
  16. Picked a Fine Time to Leave Me Lucille
  17. Bills Joel "big shot" Not once but twice today. Just to make sure everyone appreciated how sucky it was
  18. Point of the analysis had you stopped to think instead of having an emotional response, is that versus our direct competition we showed badly. Not taking away wins against jets but it further emphasizes we didn't beat any of the teams we needed to in afc (pats, bolts, chiefs, broncos. raiders when we needed it) except perhaps fins who we split with , so that's really a push
  19. Wins ARENT THE SAME. Division wins and conference wins matter most. That's what at 10&6 we only had a 30% chance because we lose conference tie breakers. This is quite simple. And the most common way teams make post season is winning the division (8 out of 12 teams make it that way). Our division record shows we're treading water again. 3&3 .500 last year (swept by pats, sweep fins, split jets) and likely .500 this year too (swept by pats, sweep jets, split with fins)
  20. We're in the AFC. You get to post season by beating other AFC teams. That's why even if we got to 10 wins we still wouldn't make post season. It makes total sense to look at our performance primarily against AFC opponents
  21. Honestly we didn't. Take away sweep of NFC north and we're a miserable 4 & 7 in the afc (most likely will end up 4 & 8). Of the 4 wins 2 came against the miserable jets and another against browns when they were playing miserable. So the only win against a halfway decent opponent was Miami, and they're not a playoff team either . That means there's a lot left to do to get into post season.
  22. They're seeing if Bon Jovi's still interested so they can cut their losses quickly
