  1. When I watched bills play bengals back then Bruce smith was demolishing Munoz. Munoz very over rated IMO.
  2. just not in the most valuable round is hardly inconsequential
  3. no matter, the pro-trade crowd has already written off the yet to be named pick as a bust
  4. and didnt go anywhere with it. of course a new HC wants high draft picks to replenish talent and build a team
  5. not having a 1st round pick cant be helping our search for a new coach too
  6. We don't actually know what they were going to do. Been rumors about Ebron and Beckham. And they could have xhnaged their mind, taken someone else, or even made another trade. But for argument sake. Let's say its Ebron. I find it funny that pro-trade crowd is always harping on it being too early to compare watkins and Beckham, yet they've already labeled Ebron a bust, as is the foregone 2015 1sr round pick
  7. That's not true at all. They wanted to get vertical as much as possible. Thats why they spent a 1st on QB and 2nd on WR in 2013, and effectively 2 1sts and a 4th in 2014 on WR. Problem is they just weren't effective doing it
  8. When news came from colleague Adam Schefter that former Buffalo Bills head coach Doug Marrone did not approve of the team's decision to trade up in the 2014 NFL draft to select Clemson wide receiver Sammy Watkins, giving away their 2015 first-round pick in the process, it provided a natural opportunity to assess the merits of the trade. In many cases -- regardless of whether the transaction is a trade, free-agent signing or draft selection -- there's a tendency to forge a knee-jerk reaction that can prove to be inaccurate in the long term. But while Watkins' career is far from over, based on a multitude of factors involved, it's hard to disagree with the sentiment suggested by Marrone: The decision to trade up for him was not the right move. http://m.espn.go.com/nfl/story?storyId=12127113&src=desktop
  9. Nice, wonder if he learned the butt champagne trick from interviewing Clinton
  10. Fewell super bowl ring Beckham 300+ more yards and 4 more TDs than Watkins in 4 less games, pro bowl, lock for ORoY Yeah no way giants would trade that package. That's why I said it as a joke
  11. Wasn't Jim schwattz a coach for titans then?
  12. Could see both of them being cut before season starts, especially pryor
  13. Schwartz is perfect for them. That was my first thought when I saw fewell was let go. Could also see them groom him as coughlins replacement. How about we work a deal: we let Schwartz talk to them, and if he gets hired we'll swap Schwartz and Watkins for Beckham. With our talent we will have a good D with pretty much anyone as DC. Heck if we want to stay with 4-3 let's just rehire fewell.
  14. Hiring rex I would think means Schwartz is out because of their different defensive philosophies. IMO thats fine because wit our talent on D we will field a top unit regardless of shceme.
  15. Give that catch to Watkins and ODB still wins in a landslide
  16. Giants offense was worse off when beckham was out and Cruz was the featured WR. Beckham made that offense better. You can't extract the WR from the offense dumbass
  17. Rex HC and Sanchez QB works for me How much though was the defense success about the players versus the coach? I liked Schwartz most of the year, but when Dareus went down in the raiders game and we couldn't adjust I started questioning Schwartz value. Methinks our talent on D would do just fine with Rex at the helm and a DC he hires, assuming Schwartz doesn't stay on
  18. Not a bust, clearly has potential, but also clearly not worth a pair of 1sts and a 4th IMO. And sure as heck not "owed" anything more from the team or fans
  19. Ridiculous isn't it? Like the team "owes" him something for trading up and drafting 4th overall. And anyone watching the games realizes he didn't get more targets because a) he wasn't getting open, b) he was dropping easy catches and c) he doesn't win "jump balls"
  20. I think casserly made it sound like the job's his if he wants it. And marrone figured great I get paid 2x in 2015 and I'm with a head guy I get along better with. Then at least some in the NY media got a hold if it and are trying to derail it .... IMO rightly so. I wonder if Marrone had the chance to go back in time knowing what he knows now if he'd still opt out
  21. How about how does the bills organization and the fans feel about using 2 firsts and a fourth on a WR that may be 4th or 5th best in a deep WR draft, when the best one (beckham) could have been gotten for just our 2014 pick only?
  22. No redneck sounding names like "chan" and "buddy" Can at least spell "offense" Will work for food
  23. I've gotten that team wrong all year
  24. I won't say if they're related, but in the interests of time I am selling off some personal items for less than they're worth
