  1. dont forget theyd still have to get out of pats' division
  2. Smith would have been the best player on either squad, but overall the current defense is better
  3. neither the caller nor anywhere else in the article did it say he was "looking in garages". his only "crime" was being a dark-skinned guy walking on a public sidewalk
  4. That's what I think. And that's best case given his age and declining physicality. You think otherwise ?
  5. Toughest guys that could be available include Lynch, boldin, Steve smith, Peterson, revis and hardy. Can't see any of them ending up here except revis (although pats likely to keep him, especially knowing Rex would be all over him) or hardy
  6. Denver was already a playoff team when manning joined them. In fact in his first year he did no better than tebow year before ...losing in the divisional round. It would take him at least a season to adjust to bills personnel and coaches. That next season where improvement could start being seen he'd be 40 years old! FORTY YEARS OLD for a guy that's already in physical decline. Not to mention FORTY MILLION DOLLARS in cap space too. His best place is Denver for one more year before calling it a career
  7. both took place in countries we and our "allies" took part in destabilizing .... see a pattern here?
  8. Other teams will value him higher than we could justify. I could see a playoff caliber team who think they're a WR -away from advancing further (panthers), a team with a young QB looking for a veteran target (raiders), or a team looking to swap their #1 targets from a smaller timing guy to a bigger "open when covered" guy (Miami)
  9. The "From Hell" letter[1] (or the "Lusk letter"[2]) is a letter posted in 1888 by a person who claimed to be the serial killer known asJack the Ripper. Postmarked on 15 October 1888, the letter was received by George Lusk, then head of the Whitechapel Vigilance Committee, the following day. The text of the letter reads:[1] From hell Mr Lusk Sor I send you half the Kidne I took from one women prasarved it for you tother pirce I fried and ate it was very nise I may send you the bloody knif that took it out if you only wate a whil longer. signed Catch me when you Can Mishter Lusk. [sic] The original letter, as well as the kidney that accompanied it, have subsequently been lost along with other items that were originally contained within the Ripper police files. A forensic handwriting analyst working for the History Channel documentary series MysteryQuest argued that the letter was genuine, based on the characteristics of the handwriting, particularly the "invasive loop" letter "y"s. Based on linguistic clues (including the use of the particular spelling of the word "prasarved" (preserved), the examiner felt that the letter showed strong evidence that the writer was Irish or of Irish extraction, linking the letter to Ripper suspect Francis Tumblety. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/From_Hell_letter Francis Tumblety (c.1833 – 28 May 1903) was an Irish-born American mountebank and medical quack who earned a small fortune posing as an "Indian Herb" doctor throughout the United States and Canada.[1] He was an eccentric self-promoter and was often in trouble with the law. He has been put forward as a suspect in the notorious and still unsolved Jack the Ripper murder spree inWhitechapel, London, in autumn 1888. According to the 1850 United States census, Tumblety was born in Ireland.[2] His parents, James and Margaret Tumuelty (so spelled on their tombstone),[2] along with his 10 brothers and sisters, emigrated to Rochester, New York, a few years after his birth.[3] By the age of 17 he was selling books, which were possibly pornographic, along the Erie Canal between Rochester and Buffalo. He then found brief employment as a cleaner at the Lispenard Hospital, in Rochester, which had a dubious medical reputation for performing gynaecological operations and "cures" for sexual temptation. He was buried in the family plot in Rochester's Holy Sepulchre Cemetery http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francis_Tumblety
  10. If we have a WR-rich team like that then we're back to the question of who's going to distribute the ball to them? Unlikely EJ or someone we bring in like Sanchez makes good use of them. This offense needs better interior linemen ... Incognito helped but he's not enough. And an upgrade at TE. Get those and watch the run and pass game markedly improve no matter which of our QB alternatives is back there
  11. always liked his game but we've done enough investing in WR. 2 firsts and a 2nd last 2 years (or 3 years depending how you record 2015 1st). Better to save the money and invest in TE
  12. whew, thankfully ... thought that bozo might end up here St. Louis Rams sticking with Sam Bradford http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000470580/article/st-louis-rams-sticking-with-sam-bradford
  13. He was gone anyway but yeah its one step closer to signing someone, quite possibly cj
  14. If he were white he wouldnt be described at all because there'd have been no call to police
  15. I'm afraid hes toast. The video was too damaging. A video Probably would have sunk some others like Vick or Peterson too. But the video, his age, declining production, and overall reduced value of RBs will almost certainly finish him
  16. Per NFL.com manning told broncos he wants to return.

  18. Yeah, Bruce Jenner too. Let's be first to sign transgender
  19. know with certainty? no, I don't. It's my strong judgement it wouldnt have do you KNOW it would have with exact same fact pattern except it was a caucasian?
  20. white guy calls cop because he sees a "skinny black guy" in his neighborhood. "skinny black guy" isn't black, turns out he's Indian ... but hey what the heck, he's not white, call cops on him. white cops show up and begin to arrest him no reason other than white guy called him an unknown "skinny black guy". cops cuff him, hands behind back, completely defenseless, body slam to ground you really think if he were a "skinny white guy" any of this would have happened? could serve as a definition of "police brutality"
  21. In a 911 call to police that day, the caller identifies Patel as "a skinny black guy" he had never seen before walking around the neighborhood. The caller also said that he was following Patel from a distance, and that he was afraid to leave for work and leave his wife alone at home. http://www.nbcnews.com/news/asian-america/alabama-cop-arrested-takedown-left-indian-man-partially-paralyzed-n305471 http://youtu.be/jdIVsdxUtl8
  22. Gore will be 32 in may, has an injury history, and his #'s have been declining. Why in the world would we pay anything to get him? I hear what youre saying about spiller, but with effective blocking he's shown be can break big plays up the middle. That forces defenders inside and opens up outside routes. Can also see him being better used in screens. Jackson is good at screens but he's slowing down. Not sure why people think boobie is anything special, pretty much dime a dozen NFL talent-wise
  23. Keep same backs we had last year. Get new guards, attack will be fine. Keep spiller, Roman will find better ways to use him and he won't be a big ticket signing.
  24. We'll take Trent Richardson off their hands if they give us their first.
