  1. End-stage chronic obstructive pulmonary disease .... was he a smoker?
  2. How do you know they have Sanchez lined up?
  3. Don't think it's true and also op said it was his opinion this would happen. No mention of actual plans. Only financial rationale would be eating the entire cost in Rex's first year when most coaches realized they have a grace period, and free up some more space for the more important 2nd year
  4. I thought the most egregious and damning is the lie about being in Florida outside a Russian spies door when he killed himself. And tellingly of the 3 allegations its the one he hasn't responded to. IMO he doesn't want to go anywhere near that one and draw further attention, its simply too black and white http://money.cnn.com/2015/02/26/media/bill-oreilly-jfk-falklands-el-salvador/
  5. Thats true but was he ever as good as Warner? iirc schaubs game was pretty much handing it off to foster, they asked very little of him. Warner OTOH whipped the ball around all over the field
  6. errrr, I did? Heres my actual post. "you really think the super bowl champs wouldnt have beaten us if they kept their starters in? its the second half where they do the most damage against us. like our first game against them in buffalo. we were down by 6 at the half and it looked like a game, second half collapse and we lose by 15." I skeptically questioned your conclusion that because we were up at the half, that we would have won the game. No stating "as fact" what I think would have happened. Unlike you asserting a half time lead = victory
  7. starting to feel like jp losman / kely holcomb part 2
  8. 50 Fox News lies in 6 seconds https://vine.co/v/O2qFXmwW9uz
  9. OK Jim, have it your way, Bills won the super bowl last year
  10. Jim Webb, at least he's a skeptic of military intervention...unlike that tool Hillary
  11. if we're unfortunate enough to land him, I sure hope it's one of those non-guaranteed deals where he gets cut in camp with no cap implications (i.e. vince young). and hes just here to add another body in competition you really think the super bowl champs wouldnt have beaten us if they kept their starters in? its the second half where they do the most damage against us. like our first game against them in buffalo. we were down by 6 at the half and it looked like a game, second half collapse and we lose by 15.
  12. Rams worked him like a rented mule. I hope Im wrong because he was fun to watch back in the day, but he sure looked like the classic "once great, lost a step (or two), out of the league in a year" last season
  13. i know, signing mccown doesnt mean losing EJ. why take the cap hit? he's not a locker distraction or anything like that, unless there's something they're not telling us about him
  14. Me too, but odds he'll take whatever they offer. He has no other suitors.
  15. Got to be kidding me, Sanchez is 1,000x better and 8 years younger. Why sign a journeyman history shows is at the age where skills decline?
  16. lol yeah since Im saying same thing he is, bibi is FOS and dont let him sucker us into another conflict
  17. Can we get a similar analysis going for depression in fans of a team that has the longest playoff drought? And some compensation from the NFL for our pain and suffering ?
  18. Jon Stewart is said to be going easy on him, but I can't disagree with his reasoning Next, Stewart noted how there are more consequential embellishments going on in the real world of news. Chief among them are news reports that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu may have misled folks about the status of Iran’s nuclear status in a U.N. speech in 2012. “See, this is the [expletive] we should be looking into. ‘Cause it seems to me, you know, we might be just a little better off if the exaggerations abo8ut covering a war get less attention than the exaggerations that get us into so many of them.” http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/erik-wemple/wp/2015/02/25/daily-shows-jon-stewart-goes-soft-on-fox-newss-bill-oreilly/
  19. Well yeah he's right about that much every time we supported neocon agenda -- Iraq war, farcical "peace negotiations" with no pressure on Israel, destablizing Syria and Ukraine -- it's backfired. So the logical conclusion then is don't side with neocons now in scuttling a deal with iran, then I fully support what he's saying.
  20. wow what a mess. i wonder if the nfl ever contemplated there'd be this reverse gap between cap accounting and cash spending
  21. Read the media matters link in the last article I posted. Really damming stuff. One excerpt: "Bill O'Reilly's a phony, there's no other way to put it," said Tracy Rowlett, a former WFAA reporter and anchor who worked at the station with O'Reilly. "He was not up on the porch when he heard the gunshots, he was in Dallas. He wasn't traveling at that time." Byron Harris, a reporter at WFAA for the past 40 years, agreed that O'Reilly had not traveled to Florida for the story and accused him of stealing his reporting on de Mohrenschildt's suicide from a newspaper. According to Harris, O'Reilly "was in Dallas. He stole that article out of the newspaper. I guarantee Channel 8 didn't send him to Florida to do that story because it was a newspaper story, it was broken by the Dallas Morning News." Both Harris and Rowlett said O'Reilly never mentioned having been present for the gunshot during his time at WFAA. "I don't remember O'Reilly claiming that he was there. That came later, that must have been a brain surge when he was writing the book," Rowlett said. Harris further pointed out that WFAA "would have reported it as some kind of exclusive -- and there was no exclusive -- if O'Reilly had been standing outside the door."
  22. I knew there'd be more from this a$$wipe Latest challenge for Bill O'Reilly: His JFK story O'Reilly's telling of it has gone like this: In 1977, Russian-born George de Mohrenschildt, who knew Lee Harvey Oswald, had been contacted by congressional investigators. O'Reilly, a reporter for a Dallas TV station, had tracked de Mohrenschildt down in Palm Beach, and arrived at the door to his daughter's home just as he shot himself. "As the reporter knocked on the door of de Mohrenschildt's daughter's home, he heard the shotgun blast that marked the suicide of the Russian, assuring that his relationship with Lee Harvey Oswald would never be fully understood," O'Reilly wrote in his book. "By the way, that reporter's name is Bill O'Reilly." The question being raised: Was O'Reilly really there? Jefferson Morley, a visiting professor at the University of California and a former editor at the Washington Post, doesn't think so. Writing for his website JFKFacts.org in 2013, Morley used phone recordings to dispute the dramatic account. http://money.cnn.com/2015/02/25/media/bill-oreilly-jfk-george-de-mohrenschildt/
  23. With his missunderstanding of female anatomy I get the impression he never touched her.
  24. nuclear weapons? no, no one is saying that. nuclear power under a tightly watched program is whats on the table. i am totally comfortable with that, and I think most people are. but hey where's your concern for Israel's arsenal? Unlike Iran, Israel refuses to allow inspections at all, refuses to join the Non-Proliferation Treaty, has hundreds of nuclear weapons, has advanced delivery systems. why should we care what hypocrits like that think? or the other main protagonists the Saudis. One of the most extreme dictatorships, and the most extreme fundamentalist state in the world. And we're siding with them while they impose and try to expand their extremist Wahhabi-Salafi version of Islam in the region? lol ... with friends like these, well you know the rest
  25. its impossible to know what the net effect of him being gay is: it may have gotten him more exposure with teams (with some even thinking theyd get positive press for giving him a chance), while others may have shied away thinking he wasnt worth the potential distraction. but given his college career, my hunch is that overall it hurt his chances as a marginal prospect. if he were the real deal with pro-bowl talent, he would have found a roster spot for sure
