What do you think will happen with Jerry Hughes?
truth on hold replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This may be why they're not giving Hughes a blank check. I figured they were keeping their powder dry for something. Darrelle Revis reportedly will hit free agent market http://larrybrownsports.com/football/darrelle-revis-free-agent-market/256420 -

Im not sure why people think Hughes is the better fit. Just because he's smaller doesn't mean he can drop back in coverage. Has anyone seen him effective in covering TEs or slot WRs? Maybe he is and I just havent seen it. For the money Id rather have Orakpa who can consistently outmuscle tackles. Something Hughes doesnt do consistently do. That right there gives you more versatility http://youtu.be/CcCs1t0RRzQ -

with no deal yet and the money FAs are getting, odds are he won't be in Buffalo next year -- he wants max bucks, and odds are something like 1 in 32 we offer the most -
Well in that case then, 'have ya' with someone like that?

Boehner Blunder w/Netanyahu
truth on hold replied to BillsFan-4-Ever's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Well said by former Labor Secretary Robert Reich: "If Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is entitled to speak to Congress and the American people on his disagreement with American foreign policy, a lowly former U.S. Secretary of Labor (who also happens to be Jewish) has every right to address the Israeli people on an issue over which he disagrees with official Israeli policy. (He doesn't have a formal way of communicating, so if you know any Israeli’s please forward to them the following message.) People of Israel: You should know that the new-found alliance between your Prime Minister and our Republican Party, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, and some wealthy right-wing Jews here (such as billionaire Sheldon Adelson), is poisoning the relationship between Israel and the United States. Netanyahu’s decision to address Congress on Tuesday to argue against a nuclear deal with Iran that’s one of the President’s highest priorities, and also to speak to Aipac – just two weeks before your own national elections – foists your own domestic politics onto ours. As such, it is having a polarizing effect here in the United States, pushing many Americans to side against Israel, and thereby posing a long-term threat to Israel’s security. Meanwhile, many American Jews who have refrained from speaking out against the right-wing radicalism that has taken hold in Israel – a radicalism that rejects a “two-state solution” and continues to build new settlements on the West Bank, and which we believe imperils the future of Israel -- are now feeling emboldened to do so. Aipac does not speak for us. House Republicans do not speak for us. Billionaires do not speak for us. We have been silent for too long. -- Robert Reich" https://www.facebook.com/RBReich/posts/958832447462685 -

I dont know about that, but Im skeptical US would step in and be Iran's air force. Also no one is taking Israel's threats seriously, strategists realize the US would have to do it for them, including the Israelis: "As former Netanyahu security adviser Uzi Arad explained to me, a solo Israeli attack would make things worse. It might flatten some facilities and gain a year’s delay. But Iran would quickly rebuild, and could now act openly, claiming it needed nukes to defend itself against a nearby nuclear power that attacked first. To be useful, Arad said, a raid must be led by America, which has far more firepower, and should include Western and moderate Arab nations. Allied support would be needed to impose long-term, highly intrusive inspections that ensure Tehran doesn’t rearm. An Israeli attack would render all that impossible." Read more: http://forward.com/articles/215562/benjamin-netanyahu-s-iran-exaggerations-now-clea/#ixzz3TC6DSLZD That's why that bozo Bibi is headed here, trying to get us to do his dirty work again. In that light, there is no foreign leader who poses a greater threat to getting Americans killed and wasting trillions more in American dollars in yet another foreign quagmire. So speaking of planes, we should intercept Netanyahu's and escort it out to sea, make it clear he's not allowed in US space. -
caught red-handed. like i said there's a reason this is the one charge he's never responded to. 100% black and white

Lol .... Something tells me a lot of those horndogs wouldn't care anyway

The problem is he's an even bigger unknown than EJ with far less playing time even though he's been in the league a lot longer. Seems like pats were never really sold on him, rumours of trying to trade him, and bringing in others. Id likely pass

nice, racist, one-sided commentary piece you posted there. how come you never post religious radicalism other than islam? like this recent little ditty from just 2 days ago.... Suspected Israeli nationalists torch Christian seminary in Jerusalem Suspected Israeli nationalists set fire to a Christian seminary in Jerusalem and vandalized an elementary school in Nablus on Thursday, officials said. The attacks, which came a day after a similar group burned a mosque near Bethlehem, have been characterized as hate crimes by Israeli officials and "terrorism" by Palestinians. According to local media reports, the assailants poured flammable liquid into a bathroom window of the Greek Orthodox seminary and ignited it. Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said "anti-Christian" slogans were scribbled in Hebrew on the seminary's walls — including “Jesus is a son of a whore” and “the redemption of Zion.” http://america.aljazeera.com/articles/2015/2/26/suspected-israeli-nationalists-torch-christian-seminary-in-jerusalem.html Here's the bottom line: take any ethnic or religious group of any material size and you will find some really good and really bad apples who identify with them. Until you clean up your own house(s), you're in no position to throw stones at any others. The only path is good apples within any of these groups -- i.e. the clear majority in all of them -- to band together and form their own collective, like for example ... Israel and the Palestinian territories are small places where there's endless fighting. Almost everyone has been touched by the bloodshed at some point and it often leads to bitterness, calls for revenge ... and more fighting. Yet there are groups trying to break this cycle, like The Parents Circle, which is made up of Israeli and Palestinian parents who have lost kids to the violence yet have joined together in support of peace and reconciliation. http://www.npr.org/blogs/parallels/2014/09/13/346854919/israeli-palestinian-parents-share-their-painful-stories-of-loss People like this are heroes, the ones who keep trying to stir up trouble who author the stuff you post are garbage
